Hi! I am an experienced pet owner, sitter, wildlife rehabilitator, and veterinary assistant! I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments, sizes, backgrounds, behavioral issues, disabilities and energy levels. I have a strong an understanding of pets needs, wants, communication styles, body language, etc. Taking care of animals is my passion, and I understand how vital ensuring the health, safety and happiness of your pet is and am very excited to give you that comfort and security! I truly love and cherish every animal I care for as if they were my own- I have known that my purpose in life is to care for critters big and small since I can remember. Pet sitting is truly such a joy in my life, I look forward to making trips feel easy and simple knowing your pets are in loving hands getting adventures, cuddles, and truly dedicated specialized attention to all of their needs. For dogs I offer boarding, walking, house sitting and drop-ins. I am ONLY able to board dogs if they are comfortable with cats and other dogs, as I have one of each who both are extremely friendly, well behaved and adore dogs. If your dog does not get along with cats or dogs, please book house sitting or drop-ins, not boarding! For all cats I can do drop-in visits or house sitting, but I cannot do boarding for cats.

Yonah was fantastic. We have a lot of animals to look after, and she did a great job taking care of everyone. They were all really well-cared for while we were gone. Yonah sent great daily photo updates. We even had a chicken get injured shortly before we left and she was wonderful at helping to care for our hurt hen. Highly recommended and we will definitely book again!
I’m so impressed with Yonah. I have a fearful and reactive dog and Yonah’s calm confidence made such a difference. She has strong knowledge of dog behaviors and worked wonders with my sweet boy. Yonah provided plenty of updates, both photos and meaningful messages about how the dogs were behaving. She also left my home in great shape. I highly recommend booking her!

Yonah showed up a few minutes early for this first walk with my pups and handled my very reactive dog with patience and kindness. We arranged this as a way to get to know the dogs before an overnight stay and I’m so glad we did as I now know that Yonah can work with my sweet boy who has so much anxiety.
Yonah did a fantastic job! She sent lots of photos and is great at communicating. The dogs got lots of walks, cuddles, and a trip to the dog park :) I will definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate myself to your pets! Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays I am working roughly 10-5 so I am available for drop-ins and walks outside those hours. In boarding cases, my animal loving roommate would be able to provide potty breaks if necessary during the time I’m at work, and of course lots of love so your friend will never feel lonely! The rest of my week is open :)

I will give your pet all of the space, or love, or play, or alone time they need to be their happiest selves. Every pet is different, therefore my services will fit their needs. I do my best to ensure their routine changes as little as possible. I am an active person and love to go on adventures so *if it is appropriate for your pets needs* they will have lots of exercise, playtime, hikes, coffee shop and dog park visits. I always discuss where I will be bringing pets with owners and will never put your pet in an unsafe situation. They will always receive love, attention and plenty of space to roam about in my house, which during boarding I keep pet-safe even for the sneakiest snack stealers.
A typical day
I love to encourage dogs to experience lots of mental stimulation! We will spend lots of time sniffing and looking at new things that will let them release all of their pent up energy on our walks. Depending on the personality of your dog we might go out on a hike, dog park, stop by a coffee shop to meet some new friends, or just keep to the neighborhood and backyard. Cats are just as important! Lots of playtime, cat tv, and lots of attention on their terms.
