In my personal life, I’m an active foster for several local rescue organizations—giving me firsthand experience managing dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and training levels. Over the years, I’ve supported everything from high-energy puppies to seniors needing meds and mobility help. At home, my partner and I care for our two dogs: a 16-year-old Corgi and a sharp, independent Australian Cattle Dog. Sitting through Rover gives me the chance to keep my training and dog-savvy skills sharp, meet new dogs one-on-one, and help neighbors in the Bend community travel or manage life events knowing their pets are in experienced hands. When caring for pets in your home, I follow any routines or instructions you provide closely, whether related to feeding, crate use, medication, or training cues, and I maintain secure indoor and outdoor areas to ensure your dog’s safety at all times. Because I foster dogs regularly through rescue organizations, I’m experienced in safely introducing new pets to a "new normal" in the home and care giver situation, watching for signs of stress, and calming behavior without escalating situations. I also provide regular updates and am always reachable during a sit, so you can feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for while you're away.

Schedule
Pet care is built into my daily routine, thanks to a flexible work schedule that includes occasionally work-from-home days and control over my hours. This lets me accommodate frequent walks, potty breaks, medication schedules, and whatever daily rhythm your dog is used to. I’ve worked closely with our heeler from adoption through advanced agility training, and I manage the full-time care of our senior corgi—including everything from structured supplement routines to unpredictable middle-of-the-night needs. I’m used to adjusting my day around the dogs in my care to keep things consistent, calm, and comfortable for them.
