I work full time in Bend from 6:30 AM until 3:00 PM Mon-Friday. I am available after 3:00 PM on weekdays, and anytime on weekends.

I have had dogs and cats that needed medication and special care after surgeries, and in old age and feel comfortable administering medications. If meds or special care is needed, I prefer to have written or text instructions to make sure that I am giving the best of care to your animal.
A typical day
I enjoy walking, hiking, running, and playing fetch with dogs. I adapt the activity to the needs and personality of the pet. I have fun teaching dogs basic commands using positive reinforcement and I even taught our 2 cats to sit. Our cats enjoy playing with wand toys, and I have become the chosen play person of the household.

Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover since childhood and have always had dogs or cat companions. My mother is a dog trainer and I grew up with beagles, golden retrievers, and Bernese mountain dogs. As an adult, I owned and trained a black lab mix who I had therapy dog certified by Therapy Dog International and also had a lovable lab-dane mix. Currently my partner and I have two cats, but cannot have a dog in our rental home, so I'm more that happy to look after your animal(s). I also have experience feeding horses and cleaning paddocks.

Aaron was awesome with our pups while we were away. He was reliable and resourceful - found the stash of dog food when needed. He showed up on time, walked our dogs then came back later in the evening to take them out for a potty break and put them to bed. Much appreciated!!
Aaron was awesome for our senior, blind dog, who's idea of a walk is spending 30 minutes essentially sniffing and strolling. Aaron was on time, sent pictures, and our dog seemed super content when we got home. Totally recommend Aaron, and we'll be requesting his services again!
