This makes me particularly drawn to caring for pets who are aging, anxious, or just need that extra bit of understanding. I’m also extremely detail-oriented and observant. As a kid I helped take care of the family beagle for over a decade (plus various fish, mice, and hermit crabs along the way), then as an adult I owned a rescue cat for 10 years and cared for her through the cancer that eventually ended her life. I have been a trusted sitter on Rover since Jan. 2024, and I love spending time with others’ pets until I have my own again someday. Fun fact: I also have livestock experience! Since 2021 I’ve had the pleasure of working with farm animals like pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, and even a dairy cow 🐮 I work 4 days a week and find out my schedule two weeks in advance, so I’m the best fit for pets with flexible routines who can potentially be left unattended for 9 hours at a time. About: I have a reactive shepherd-chow mix and I'm currently fostering two fearful dogs. Taken lots of Reactive-Rover and Control unleashed classes and currently doing BAT training. Dog-walking volunteer at PAWS for 4 years (specialize in fearful dogs). I'm currently working a fully-remote part-time job so I can provide frequent potty breaks/short walks. During the weekend I can take the dogs for long walks on the sammamish river trail/tolt pipeline trail. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly foster dogs who can play with your dog. If your dog prefers to be alone that's also OK. My own dog is not dog friendly and will be kept on another floor. I live in a very walkable neighborhood with low traffic. Also 5 minutes away from the trail if your dog loves the nature (perfect for fearful/reactive dogs)!

“Thanks Yujin for the great job this weekend! Yujin was our first cat sitter with Rover and we plan to ask her to come again for sure. Her gentle and competent demeanor were just right for our kitties. Our more outgoing cat greeted her at the door and followed her everywhere and our very shy cat actually came out of hiding for tummy rubs (which she never does for strangers!). Yujin conscientiously followed our requests and fed them, changed their water, and scooped boxes. She even washed their bowls! And most important, Yujin took some time to play and cuddle with the cats. Her reports and photos of them were lovely and reassured us that she was the right sitter for our kitties. Five stars!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for the last five years and have been dog walking since I was 11 years old. As an avid animal lover, I have had my own pup since I was ten years old and have been around animals for my whole life. I also worked at a specialty and emergency veterinary clinic for three years, learning as much as I could about animal care and gaining many resources. I am so excited to meet you and your pets! I am a teacher so while I start work at 7:30 am, I am off work by 3:30 pm and ready to give your fur baby all the attention they desire! I live in a pet-friendly apartment that has a fenced in dog park and lots of pups to play with if that’s your pet’s needs! There are lots of great trails and walks for us to go on during their stay and while I work during the week, I am available to pet-sit most weekends. I also work from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm on weekdays and am home the rest of the day to provide care.
