About: I have two high energy doggies of my own so I’m totally used to keeping up and making sure they get that energy out. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter playing with dogs all day I am currently working from home so my availability is pretty flexible to be able to do drop ins/ taking your furry friend on a walk or coming to stay the night with them ! I have two friendly dogs who’d love to play with yours if you needed them boarded , I also can easily crate dogs if that’s what you prefer when they’re left alone
“Ive left a review before, but I have to again. This girl is the best dog walker out there! She’s always on time, always walks him our agreed upon distance/time if weather permits, and, if the weather’s bad, she will still spend time and play with my dog inside. She’s super reliable and good with communication! She tells you in advance when she’ll be out of town and she doesn’t mind last minute booking. Also, when she walked my boyfriend’s dog when he was out of town, he didn’t poop and there was no one else to come over later that night to take him out again so she offered to do it for free (oh and that was on Christmas!). If you need a good walker, use her!”

“Tea is fantastic and I could not recommend her more for walking your dog. Tea is extremely personable and flexible. She was able to work with my schedule and maintened excellent communication with me while I was away. She sent pictures and updates during all walks and my dog couldn't have looked happier. If you're going out of town or need someone to walk your dog while away from home, keep Tea at the top of your dog walker list.”

“Anastasia was wonderful and reliable! We have a large dog, who she was able to handle with no problems, and she showed up exactly as expected. We would absolutely reach out to Anastasia again in the future!”

“Madeleine just started with us last week, and already our dog Daisy has taken to her like she has been knowing her for years. She handles days a very gently, and Daisy loves that”

About: I volunteered at a local vet clinic through high-school and college so I'm familiar with basic pet care. I've worked with large and small breeds and enjoy pets of all kinds! I'm even down with spiders, I just wont take them for walkies. I'm an elementary school teacher, so I'm free after 3 on weekdays. I'm off on the weekend and when public schools are closed. Let's play! I'm not nosey, or judgemental. Life be lifing sometimes- I don't care if your house is spotless and don't expect it to be. I've got two kids, two dogs and a husband- my house looks like it! I've never met a pet I didn't immediately want to play with and take care of, and pets tend to feel the same way about me.
“Susan went so far above and beyond caring for my pup the last 3 days. Truly the best dog walker I’ve booked on here! She made my dog feel super loved and communicated with me very well. Tons of pictures too which I loooove! Will definitely book with her again”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets and critter friends for over 10 years. Friends, family, neighbors, and neighbors' friends and families have relied on me to walk, sit, bathe, play, and provide love and compassion to their animals. It brings me much joy to be able to share the same love and energy from pets as their parents do :333 I’m currently working part time as a muay thai instructor with dreams and aspirations of becoming a professional fighter! I train and coach Muay Thai at East Side Muay Thai. My training and coaching schedule allows me to choose a work schedule that supplements my needs without sacrificing my training and coaching hours! I have caring experience in friends and families homes and check off all the tasks and routines they normally have implemented for their fur-children, while leaving their space and pet better off than I found it.
About: I have always loved animals in general, but I still haven’t found the words to describe my love for dogs of all kinds. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to care for their pets, from puppies to seniors, since I was a teen. I have experience caring for multiple animals while house sitting for a family friend with 7 dogs, 6 beagles and a chocolate lab! Although I am biased towards dogs, I do enjoy the company of cats and have experience caring for the cats of neighbors and friends. I currently work 2nd shift, so my mornings and early afternoons are free for midday walks and check ins! Most days I start at 3pm and get off between 9pm and 11pm. I will follow any specific instructions for the care of your furry friend! I’d love to work with you to make sure both you and your pet have a wonderful experience!
About: I have grown up helping to take care of family pets, as well as watching them and other pets for friends and family members. I have done anywhere from week-long stays to just pop-in visits. I am currently working part-time while home for a couple months. I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets! Whether it’s overnight or just daily walks! I always want to make sure the pet(s) is comfortable when I am entering their space. I know animals are typically pretty regimented (like us) so I want to make the transition of you being gone smooth.
“Tania was great with my (large breed) people shy dog. My dog warmed up to her right away. Tania is great with communication and always gives me a heads up about scheduling. She was also kind enough to indulge my walking rules for my dog lol.”

About: I provide consistent, dependable care with regular updates, clear communication, and respect for your home. I focus on both physical care and emotional comfort, especially for anxious pets. Caring for pets is already part of my everyday life, so adding dog and cat sitting feels natural. I enjoy building routines that keep pets calm, happy, and comfortable. I follow each pet’s routine closely, making sure they’re fed on time, exercised or played with, and given lots of attention and care. I keep their space clean and safe, respect my client’s home, and send updates so owners feel at ease. 🐾
About: I have experience with lots of different kinds of pets but dogs are the best! My 8 year old daughter also loves pups! I work from home and am happy to let your dog out, take your furry friend for a walk, throw a ball, or host your bestie when you need a reliable pet sitter. Your pet(s) will have our attention and love - I will not watch multiple families pups unless the pups know one another and get along already. Doggos must be ok with kids. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule. I can come to your house or host your pet at mine. I am also open to hybrid care. Let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll do my best to make any requested accommodation. My daughter and I will give your pup lots of attention and make sure that we don’t share our pizza crust (unless you tell us to).
About: I have a calm and patient demeanor that dogs gravitate towards. I have no other pets and work from home with flexible hours so will be able to give your pet the special attention they need! I'm always looking to get extra steps in and enjoy company on walks :) My house is a roam-free zone with lots to explore or spots to sunbathe. On the weekends, I'm fairly active and happy to take your pet on adventures. There are plenty of hiking trails near my home if they're up for it. If I were to pet sit in your home, I'd leave it as good as when I first arrived. If outside, I'll always keep them hydrated during heat.
About: Being and eldest sibling caretaking has always come naturally to me and that extends towards animals of all kinds. My love for animals started at a very young age and I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since the age of 10. Including fish, frogs, turtles, lizards, snakes, hamsters, bunnies, birds, cats and dogs. Even a tarantula! I’m a single parent and bar manager, just looking for something flexible to do to keep busy during the day. I live an active healthy lifestyle. I do not have any pets at the moment nor pet equipment. My apartment complex is a very pet friendly community with a dog park/waste bags & I have an SUV big enough for transportation if needed.

About: I've had a family dog my whole life (German Shepard and Lab) and now have one of my own (lab puppy). She's great with other dogs and would love someone to hang out with on my days off. I live in an apt with no yard but in short walking distance to dog park and several grassy areas. I only work 3 days a week so have 4 days where I can be of use to the pets and make sure they have their needs met. I work at the hospital 3 days a week so I have 4 days free to use however I please. I have a puppy of my own so I am very accustomed to frequent potty breaks, play time and longer walks. 1 friendly puppy and nearby grassy areas and dog parks for off leash fun. Love taking longer walks to explore the city several times a day

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
