About: I have loved & cared for animals my entire life! I have always had dogs myself, including high energy pups. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology, I have experience in fields such as animal behavior, veterinary medical terminiology. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from overnight or daily dog-sitting, to typical feeding & walking routines. I'm used to a fenced in yard when letting dogs out to go to the bathroom, but I also have experience taking outside on the leash in apartment complexes, condos, and other living areas. I'm well versed in feeding dogs, and the many different applications owners use. I can ensure paws are wiped clean if need be. One of my pups is an eczema girl, so I can apply creams or moisturizing sticks to sensitive areas and paw pads also - if needed! I have some dog training experience (and will be working to gain more), so I can help enforce specific rules or training tactics that have already been introduced to your pup, in order to help form the habit! With my medical background, I can administer medication. I am comfortable taking dogs for a walk at the beach, the state park, nearby parks/neighborhoods - wherever you feel that your dog will be most comfortable & confident! Inquire directly for additional fees if traveling for a walk is considered.

About: I recently got married and moved to the area. I’m a Virginia tech animal science grad. I have worked in a boarding and daycare facility the past 2 years. I also have some dog training experience from college and in the kennel facility. Upon request I can offer training sessions for your pups. I recently moved to the area and still looking for a job that’s a good fit for me. In the meantime your pups will have all my free time! I have plenty of experience working with all types of dogs, including ones that are nervous greeters, food aggressive, barrier reactivity, leash reactivity and more. I understand every dog is different and will always work to make your dog comfortable in any environment. Big advocate for always having treats on hand and reading their body language at every interaction.

About: Hello! My name is Danielle and I've been caring for pets my entire life! I have been raising, training, and pampering my own babies for the past 10 years and providing local services to friends and neighbors. I'm highly experienced with all dog sizes, especially giant breeds (the bigger the better!). I can provide boarding, sitting, training, walking, grooming, specialized feeding, medication administering, and even first-aid if needed. I even have experience with pet hospice care through a local shelter. A little more about me personally: I have 3 dogs, including 2 Great Danes and a Golden Retriever. I also have 3 very demanding cats. So you know I'm well-versed in handling the crazy, and will treat your baby just like my own! Pets are the center of my world and yours will be too. I work from home and can provide round-the-clock care and attention during boarding and daycare. I'm currently working part time and looking for additional pet care opportunities to fill my days, since it's something I truly enjoy doing. I have a large house with gated rooms for separation, medium and giant sized crates if needed, and a large backyard with a 6 foot brand-new fence. The upstairs is gated off for the cats' comfort (and so they can watch and judge from above). In my home, I allow animals on the furniture, unless you wish me to keep up with training that teaches them otherwise. And I have gated feeding areas and an entire pet first-aid cabinet in my kitchen for emergency situations. Water bowls are provided inside and out, and dogs are supervised when outside. In client homes, I like you to set the rules. I'm happy to go about treating your babies as I would in my own home, but if you have specifications you'd like me to follow, I'm more than happy to learn what those are and follow them for your needs.
