About: I recently got married and moved to the area. I’m a Virginia tech animal science grad. I have worked in a boarding and daycare facility the past 2 years. I also have some dog training experience from college and in the kennel facility. Upon request I can offer training sessions for your pups. I recently moved to the area and still looking for a job that’s a good fit for me. In the meantime your pups will have all my free time! I have plenty of experience working with all types of dogs, including ones that are nervous greeters, food aggressive, barrier reactivity, leash reactivity and more. I understand every dog is different and will always work to make your dog comfortable in any environment. Big advocate for always having treats on hand and reading their body language at every interaction.

About: My home can offer you the level of care and attention you want for your pet. I’ve always believed dogs shouldn’t just be “checked on”—they deserve attention, interaction, and a sense of comfort while their owners are away. Your pet will be loved on as if he/she were my own. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. My roomate and I often work together to care for your pets, so they won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer drop offs no earlier than 8am, but I can accommodate if needed. I prefer to do a meet and greet before overnight boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner of cats and dogs my whole life. While in college, I worked at a veterinarian's office just to be around pets, and it was the most rewarding and fun job I ever had! I lost my beloved Cavalier two years ago and miss him dearly, but I'm not ready to own again. I really miss having a pet companion and have lots of love to share with your pets. I live next door to a park, and our neighborhood is perfect for walking and meeting other pets. My home is spacious and clean with a fenced back yard. I will love and care for your pet as my own!! I am home every day. I like to get outside as much as possible to garden or walk around my neighborhood, so I would love to have a pet companion with me! I have a fenced back yard and a spacious home. I live adjacent to our neighborhood park which is perfect for playing with and walking pets.

About: I have loved & cared for animals my entire life! I have always had dogs myself, including high energy pups. My background provides me with knowledge in preventative healthcare practices, as well as compassion & love towards animals for as long as I can remember. From new born puppies to elderly doggies, I love to help with them all! I can administer medication and feed meals if necessary too. Would love to help you and your pup soon! I am currently available Monday through Sunday most weeks. Flexible weekly schedule. Occasional vacation and travel dates, will update availability in my calendar as frequently as possible! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from overnight or daily dog-sitting, to typical feeding & walking routines. I'm used to a fenced in yard when letting dogs out to go to the bathroom, but I also have experience taking outside on the leash in apartment complexes, condos, and other living areas. I'm well versed in feeding dogs, and the many different applications owners use. I have some dog training experience (and will be working to gain more), so I can help enforce specific rules or training tactics that have already been introduced to your pup, in order to help form the habit! I can administer medication. I am comfortable taking dogs for a walk at the beach, the state park, nearby parks/neighborhoods - wherever you feel that your dog will be most comfortable & confident! Inquire directly for additional fees if traveling for a walk is considered.
