“Kayla housesit for us with our dogs, and did an amazing job. We will definitely be using her again. Our dogs were clearly well taken care of, our home was just like we left it, and our dogs got plenty of outside time. Kayla definitely went above and beyond in their care.”

About: I have over 7 years of experience caring for a variety of animals, from energetic family dogs to my own cat, Charlie. My background isn't just in the basics; I’m experienced in administering medication, managing specific dietary schedules, and providing high-energy exercise for larger breeds. As a student at VWU, I have a predictable weekly routine that allows me to offer consistent early morning, mid-day, and evening visits. Because I live/study locally, I’m able to be flexible with my timing between classes and can easily accommodate last-minute requests or regular daily check-ins. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine and ensuring your space remains secure. I treat every home with the utmost respect, staying diligent about locking up and keeping areas clean. During our time together, your pet has my full attention—whether we’re on a walk or playing indoors—and I’m happy to provide frequent photo updates so you have total peace of mind while you're away.
“Kelly was amazing! She did so well staying in our home for a long weekend with our 4 month old and 3 year old. Maggie is a bit timid around people but immediately bonded with Kelly. We will be having her back again in the near future! Highly recommend !”

“JaNasia is incredibly kind, patient, and responsible. She was able to handle our small zoo without issue and was always responsive and easy to reach. Will definitely be reaching out to book with her again!”

“Lauren was absolutely fabulous. This was the first time leaving our elderly dog as we went out of the country and we were very scared to do so but Lauren made the whole process so easy she sent us daily pictures as well as spoiled our sweet girl to death. 10/10 would recommend her anytime we will definitely be using her in the future!!!!!”

I truly love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! I currently work part-time in the mornings during the summer. This leaves the early afternoon into the evenings to care for your pets. Some days I am available all day! I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, drop-in visits, or staying in your home to keep your pets comfortable and cared for. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends! I am able to provide excellent care for animals as well as tidying up around the home if needed. I will care for them as if they were my own and follow your directions to the letter. I am responsible and trustworthy and can provide references if needed.

About: I have been a passionate dog lover for as long as I can remember, and dogs have been a part of my life since childhood. Growing up with two dogs and caring for them sparked my lifelong dedication to their well-being. At just 10 years old, I turned my love for dogs into action by starting a dog-walking business, which quickly grew into a steady after-school job for six years. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that every dog is unique and perfect in its own way, and I strive to provide them with the highest level of attention, compassion, and professionalism. I’ve also found that dogs naturally gravitate toward me, making it easy to build trust and create positive experiences for them. Beyond my experience and deep love for animals, I am reliable, easy to reach, and offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. Whether your pup needs a daily walk, extra playtime, or just a caring companion, I am here to ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve. Let’s make every walk the best part of your dog’s day! 🐾 Im currently a full-time student and athlete in college! I have a wonky schedule and was looking for specific time that is flexible with my schedule. I am a very active person and will normally jog with pets unless age or disabilities prevent this. I am always happy to accommodate; I have just found that higher intensity exercise makes for a happier furry friend!
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, of all types. My most recent breed was a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees. *He is not with me currently* I’ve had other large breeds, small breeds as well. I have training in ABA, and I know what it’s like to trust a stranger with your family. As an active duty sailor, I am on shore duty and have found myself with more free time than I could’ve ever imagined. Take those weekend trips you’ve been putting off, and know your doggo is in good hands with me Weekends (Friday-Sunday) are likely the best, but with advanced scheduling I can do during the week as well. If local to Virginia Beach or Norfolk, drop ins are not a problem at all. If you want your dog to stay home, house sitting is an option as well I live in a two bedroom apartment that’s pretty spacious and has vinyl flooring. I am only a few hundred feet from a dog park The community is very dog friendly, and your canine family will have no shortage of friends during their visit
“Look no further for a responsible, caring and phenomenal pet sitter. Anastasia took care of our home, German shepherd, cat, and fish while we were gone halfway around the world to Africa for over a week. She sent us pictures every day, ensuring our peace of mind so we could enjoy our travel. I cannot recommend her highly enough - she is the best you will ever find out there!!”
About: I've had a deep love for dogs since childhood, and my passion has only grown over the years. I currently have a miniature labradoodle named Finn, whom I've potty trained, taught a variety of tricks, and worked with on behavioral improvement. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience at Doggstuff, a local pet store, where I had the opportunity to learn dog training techniques directly from a professional trainer. I'm also well-prepared to handle any emergency situation involving dogs, ensuring they are safe and well cared for at all times. My combination of personal experience and professional training sets me apart as a reliable and knowledgeable pet sitter. I’m a rising junior in college and am home for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule. Besides my blocked off dates, I am available most days. I work a steady job Monday-Wednesday and Fridays from 9-3, but am always available before and after ! For overnight visits and walks, my priority is always the safety, comfort, and well-being of your dog. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to maintain their routine and environment as closely as possible. I create a secure and calm atmosphere, ensuring your dog feels at ease while you’re away. For walks, I tailor the length and intensity to your dog’s energy level and preferences, whether it's a leisurely stroll or a more active outing. I also stay alert to their body language and surroundings to avoid any potential hazards. I’m committed to building trust with both you and your pet, offering constant updates and staying available for any questions you may have during the service. Whether it’s overnight or a simple walk, I treat your dog as my own—providing love, attention, and care throughout the entire visit.

Northeast pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our third booking with Tea and it was so nice to go on vacation and not worry about our pups! Tea provided tons of pictures throughout the day for us to feel at ease about leaving them. She followed all the requests we made and treated our house respectfully, plus the girls just love her! Definitely booking with her again in the future!

Chris was so great with our Bowie! This was his first time with him and he was able to meet him prior to our trip! Chris was extremely responsive and gave Bowie a wonderful experience! Was our first time working with him but it won’t be our last! Thank you Chris!

Mary was great house sitting and watching my two high energy dogs (Aussies)! She did daily walks as well as playing in the back yard + was able to accommodate their special needs (prescription food for one and chewable meds for the other). I would absolutely recommend her as a dog walker or sitter as she loved my dogs a whole lot.

Maya is fantastic - excellent communication, very reliable and most importantly, takes great care of my dogs. She really went above and beyond to work with one of my dogs who is nervous around new people. I highly recommend Maya and will definitely work with her again!

Jessica was great with our GoldenDoodle Sammy. We were going out of town for a week over Christmas. Our usual sitter had to cancel last minute and I was panicked! I contacted Rover and Jessica was available. He usually is wary of new people but he instantly loved her. She came and took him out and played with him in the back yard for an hour 4X a day! It was really cold outside so we were impressed by her dedication. She took lots of pics and they were amazing! She could go into professional photography. All in all we had a great experience and would love to use her again in the future.

Rachel was amazing! She stayed at our house to watch Minnie, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She took such great care of her and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout our trip. We came home to a happy pup and a spotless house — it was clear Minnie got lots of love and attention. We’d absolutely have Rachel stay again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!

Megan was absolutely wonderful. She took such good care of my dog, Lola. Lola gets separation anxiety. However, with Megan she was great. Megan sent daily pictures and updates on how Lola was doing. Which relieved a lot of my own anxiety. I felt so comfortable with Megan taking care of Lola. I highly recommend Megan to care of your pup(s).
