“Ashley put a lot of effort into getting to know my three dogs, especially my German Shepherd, leading up to our scheduled house sitting. Everything went great! We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding weekend without wondering if the dogs were okay. Ashley even left us a thoughtful wedding gift. We will definitely rebook with Ashley!”

“Jennifer was great with our high energy dog. She walked her beyond expectation and kept her company during the nights. She communicated every day while we were away, sending us pictures and screenshots of my dog’s workout in the Tractive GPS app we shared with Jennifer.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have been sitting since I was a kid. I love animals but I especially love dogs - your fur baby and I will be best friends while you are away. I love going on walks and playing fetch, and generally just doing what I can to make sure your dog is well cared for. I have experience giving dogs medications, baths, etc. I have experience with 8 week old puppies as well as elderly dogs. I’m a graduate student with night class two nights a week, but otherwise I work from home. Making sure your pets get needed attention won’t be an issue for me! I only care for pets in the owners home, that way your fur baby stays where they are familiar and comfortable. I am very clean and tidy and will ensure that I clean up after myself while staying with your pet.

About: Mike's first job was caring for his neighbors' pets. Mike has had pets since he was 10, and travelled around the world with his dogs and cats during his military career and regional sales role. Roscoe, Higgins, and Freyja are living the dream in the Pacific Northwest with frequent road (work) trips and cross-country visits to the family in Indiana and Massachusetts. Let me know if we can help you with your fur babies. Mike works from home and is an early riser. While the coffee is brewing, all the animals are waking up with bathroom breaks and breakfast. Mike walks Roscoe after breakfast and dinner. Since Roscoe is a senior, we frequently split the two meals into snacks and shorter walks. When the cats are interested, they climb into the backpacks and go see the world with us. I pay attention to the animals' behavior and routines. Consistency in feeding and bathroom breaks has made my pets very comfortable with my work and social routines. I have the flexibility to meet your routines and maintain the consistency you expect with your family while away from home. I recognize when it's time to stop playing, reduce the mileage, or go to the vet.
“If you are a dog owner who is really attached to their dogs like I am I highly recommend Brittany. I am someone who struggles to let others care for my animals and I panic if I cannot check in with my dogs when ever I leave home for too long. Brittany was amazing in alleviating all my concerns. Constant pictures of how much my dogs loved her. They snuggled with her and played with her and she followed all of my instructions to the letter. Because of her I enjoyed my vacation knowing my dogs were safe and cared for. Book Britany you won’t regret it.”

“Steven pet sat for us in our home. He sent us pictures of our animals and even dealt with our chickens getting loose. Our animals were well kept and our house meticulous when we got back.”

“Alexandra was exceptional! She was willing to take on a 14 week old puppy that we have only had for 4 days. She was so great with the baby, and both older dogs. She was diligent with a puppy who is still learning potty training, and manners. The puppy did not have a single accident while Alexandra was here. Would absolutely book again when we have a need.”

“Devi was incredible! She took the best care of our senior pug who also has some medical issues. She stayed overnight with him and we came back to a happy, healthy pup. We are so thankful to have met her and will certainly be reaching out for all our dog sitting needs moving forward. ❤️”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for my own pets as well as helping family and friends with theirs. I understand that every pet is unique and deserves patience, attention, and love. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾🩷 I currently do work but I am off for a while so I will be able to provide your pet with my full attention during the day. Your pets are allowed in my home. I will be able to take them on walks. I do not have a large yard to provide them with.
“JaNasia is incredibly kind, patient, and responsible. She was able to handle our small zoo without issue and was always responsive and easy to reach. Will definitely be reaching out to book with her again!”

About: Had a dog growing up; cat for 6 years of my adult life Got into pet sitting for a family with 2 dogs, 3 cats — really enjoyed being active with their dogs and spending time with their pets when needed. I work full time from roughly 8:30-5:00pm I work remote at my home 2-3x a week My hobbies include being active running/walking; so what a perfect way to also spend time with animals as well. Love to travel so schedule can vary. Fenced yard with outdoor grass area. I live near the oceanfront, so I love to be active and walk around my neighborhood and or boardwalk.

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, including recently providing hospice-level care for my paralyzed Great Dane. His care required constant attention, patience, mobility assistance, and adapting to his changing needs each day. I even modified a wheelchair for him so he could continue enjoying walks and time outside comfortably until he passed. That experience deepened my understanding of how important trust, attentiveness, and compassion are when someone leaves their dog in another person’s care. Whether your dog is young and energetic, anxious, senior, or needs extra patience and support, I treat them with the same level of care and attention I would want for my own. I’m dependable, communicative, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with dogs — not just “checking a box” for walks or visits. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to give dogs consistent attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time with dogs, so walks and one-on-one attention are something I look forward to. Because I work from home, I’m also able to closely monitor pets, stick to feeding or medication schedules, and provide updates and communication so owners feel comfortable while they’re away. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Every dog has a different personality and energy level, so I adjust my care based on their needs — whether that’s long walks and playtime, calm companionship, extra patience with anxiety, or slower-paced senior care. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the pet’s routine and the home itself. I follow feeding schedules closely, make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and attention, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pet is doing well. Because of my experience caring for my paralyzed Great Dane, I’m also very attentive to details and comfortable with dogs who may need extra support, patience, or monitoring. My goal is always for pets to feel secure, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away.
“Annika is by far that the best dog sitter, and the kindest person. She goes above and beyond for all the big and little things. We left two of our dogs with her for 2 weeks and I couldn’t be happier with the care, love and snuggles they got from her. She is reliable, punctual, and her communications is always timely and precise. She watched our dogs in the past and it was nothing short of excellent. Our dogs love her every time she’s around.”

About: I have taken care of both my own animals and other people's animals on and off for around 10 years. This includes walking, feeding, and playing with animals. Neighbors, friends, and families have relied on me to take care of their fur babies and have repeatedly asked me to take care of them due to how reliable and friendly I am. I have some experience in training dogs as well; I trained my own dog to become a certified therapy dog when I was in middle school. Both animals and their owners love me equally. I also wanted to mention that I can't change my name on this, but I go by Nico and not Stacy. My pronouns are he/him. Currently, I am in school to become and EMT and am also working a part-time job at a bowling alley of Tunnel Rd. I am looking to take care of your pet on days that I am either off work or not in school. I currently own a hamster that I love and adore. I allow her to run around in her ball while I am in my room. I would make sure your fur baby is safe, entertained, and happy while I am caring for them. I would never leave them without something they may need, and I would allow them to play, exercise, etc under my supervision.
About: I have always loved animals in general, but I still haven’t found the words to describe my love for dogs of all kinds. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to care for their pets, from puppies to seniors, since I was a teen. I have experience caring for multiple animals while house sitting for a family friend with 7 dogs, 6 beagles and a chocolate lab! Although I am biased towards dogs, I do enjoy the company of cats and have experience caring for the cats of neighbors and friends. I currently work 2nd shift, so my mornings and early afternoons are free for midday walks and check ins! Most days I start at 3pm and get off between 9pm and 11pm. I will follow any specific instructions for the care of your furry friend! I’d love to work with you to make sure both you and your pet have a wonderful experience!
“upon my return, I noticed how very comfortable my puppy was with Leighanne. That is of utmost importance to me. Additionally my home was left superbly clean. Most thankful.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, of all types. My most recent breed was a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees. *He is not with me currently* I’ve had other large breeds, small breeds as well. I have training in ABA, and I know what it’s like to trust a stranger with your family. As an active duty sailor, I am on shore duty and have found myself with more free time than I could’ve ever imagined. Take those weekend trips you’ve been putting off, and know your doggo is in good hands with me Weekends (Friday-Sunday) are likely the best, but with advanced scheduling I can do during the week as well. If local to Virginia Beach or Norfolk, drop ins are not a problem at all. If you want your dog to stay home, house sitting is an option as well I live in a two bedroom apartment that’s pretty spacious and has vinyl flooring. I am only a few hundred feet from a dog park The community is very dog friendly, and your canine family will have no shortage of friends during their visit

Devi was incredible! She took the best care of our senior pug who also has some medical issues. She stayed overnight with him and we came back to a happy, healthy pup. We are so thankful to have met her and will certainly be reaching out for all our dog sitting needs moving forward. ❤️

Erika was fantastic! First time hiring her. She was great with our pup. She was super responsive and made us feel really comfortable being away! She made pup feel comfortable too. She treated our house with respect and was very professional. Highly recommend!

Mary was great house sitting and watching my two high energy dogs (Aussies)! She did daily walks as well as playing in the back yard + was able to accommodate their special needs (prescription food for one and chewable meds for the other). I would absolutely recommend her as a dog walker or sitter as she loved my dogs a whole lot.

Jessica was great with our GoldenDoodle Sammy. We were going out of town for a week over Christmas. Our usual sitter had to cancel last minute and I was panicked! I contacted Rover and Jessica was available. He usually is wary of new people but he instantly loved her. She came and took him out and played with him in the back yard for an hour 4X a day! It was really cold outside so we were impressed by her dedication. She took lots of pics and they were amazing! She could go into professional photography. All in all we had a great experience and would love to use her again in the future.

Danielle was absolutely fabulous. We had a last minute cancellation from our pet sitter for the day of our wedding and Danielle was able to step in last minute to help us out. She absolutely exceeded our expectations working with our nervous boy, we will for sure use her in the future for any pet sitting needs!

Leila took such wonderful care of both my dog Matteo and my cat Diesel while I was away. Matteo immediately loved her, and she made sure he got plenty of attention and exercise. What really impressed me, though, was how she connected with Diesel. He’s extremely shy and almost never comes out when new people are around—but somehow Leila won him over! By the end of the visit, he was not only comfortable but eating right out of her hand. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing both of my pets were happy, safe, and cared for like family. Leila sent thoughtful updates and photos, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate sitter. We feel lucky to have found her!
