Ever since I was a little girl there have been dogs in the house. When I was a young woman in my 20’s I worked at a wildlife rehab center in the suburbs of Chicago (Willowbrook Wildlife Haven). During my marriage I fostered dogs for 5 years and we also had our own dogs, everything from a Beagle to a Collie to Golden Retrievers. I love bird watching, love Ornithology! My love of animals has apparently rubbed off onto my kids. One daughter has two cats and one dog and my other daughter rescued her dog two years ago. The saying of “Who Rescued Who” is very true since she needed some four legged love during her college life and her dog has truly bonded with her!

I have a very large fenced in yard and a doggy door in the kitchen area. I love that door, my dogs just come and go and it’s great if I’m out and about for a few hours!

This was my first time using a dog sitter service for my dog. Ms. Karen made this experience so simple and stress free. She was constantly sending updates with videos and pictures. Not only would I recommend Rover, but Ms. Karen overall. Definitely I will be rescheduling her on my next trips.
Karen is always the best! We love all of the updates and our dog loves spending time with her and her pups.
Karen was excellent! We felt very good about leaving our new puppy with her and she made us feel v reassured the entire time we were away. We well definitely ask for her service again. Baby Macee loved her!!
Karen was so friendly and great with our husky girl for the day! She looked like she made herself right at home. She was also so good about sending lots of photos and videos!
Karen is fantastic! She’s very kind and accommodating. She took wonderful care of my doodle Mango for an entire week. Mango and her golden Archie became fast friends and Mango was definitely sad to leave. We’d love to use her again!!!!
