I’m home full-time, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I spend a lot of time with my lab, Bodhi, whether that’s going for walks, playing, watching him swim in the pool, or just relaxing together on his beanbag. I also plan to foster dogs in the future, which may affect my availability at times, but I’ll always keep my schedule up to date so you know exactly when I’m open. Otherwise, you can count on me being consistent and reliable.

Your dog’s safety and comfort come first. At my home, dogs are supervised and have access to cozy spots inside and a fenced yard for play. I introduce new dogs to Bodhi slowly so everyone feels secure, and each dog has their own safe space if they need it. Since I have a pool, I can block off the side yard with a gate if you’d prefer your dog not be near it. I’m also happy to make any accommodations needed for their safety and well-being.

I like to know as much as possible about your dog so I can give them the best care. Please let me know their feeding schedule, any medications, and whether they’re crate trained. It’s especially helpful to know about any allergies, treat restrictions, or if they can have things like peanut butter-filled Kongs. I also like to know if your dog has quirks, specific preferences, or anything that might make them anxious, so I can make their stay as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
A typical day can include walks, playtime in the yard, swimming in the pool for dogs who enjoy water, and plenty of time to relax and cuddle. I also like to keep dogs mentally stimulated with things like treat puzzles or Kongs filled with yogurt or other safe snacks. If your dog has allergies or dietary restrictions, I’ll make sure their activities and treats fit their needs. Every day is a mix of exercise, enrichment, and downtime so your pup feels both happy and at ease.

I’ve cared for dogs since I was 10 years old, from energetic puppies to seniors who need extra patience and attention. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and spoil their pets like my own. I am also beginning my journey as a foster dog parent, which will give me even more experience helping dogs of all personalities feel safe and loved in a new environment.

Laine is amazing! We have never had anyone other than family watch our dog and Laine made me feel very comfortable leaving Lovie with her. We had a meet and greet with both of our dogs prior to Lovie’s stay and they got along perfectly. Laine was very responsive and answered all my questions. She kept me up to date throughout the day and even sent multiple pictures!! Definitely book a service with Laine. Your dog will be treated so well and will thank you!!
