About: My home can offer you the level of care and attention you want for your pet. I’ve always believed dogs shouldn’t just be “checked on”—they deserve attention, interaction, and a sense of comfort while their owners are away. Your pet will be loved on as if he/she were my own. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. My roomate and I often work together to care for your pets, so they won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer drop offs no earlier than 8am, but I can accommodate if needed. I prefer to do a meet and greet before overnight boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.

About: I LOVE dogs. I am the go-to for my granddogs- yes, I have granddogs. My granddog, Nina, has emotional issues and can be aggressive, and I am the only one who can stay with her when my son and his family go on vacation. I have always been a dog person, nothing against cats, just that I'm allergic to cat dander. I cannot stand to see animals suffering and as a child my parents had to discourage me from trying to save every creature I saw. My baby Finn is the king of the castle but he's the sweetest most docile love bug in the universe and he loves to share his space and welcome all. You can literally feel the good energy when you walk in the door and Finny is the nucleus of that good energy. I'm retired and home all day. I am in an apartment complex but there is a huge yard right behind my apartment and plenty of space to walk and explore. I am able to do drop in visits, walks, doggy day care, provide love and cuddles per your specific instructions. Fur babies are our kids, at least I feel that way. My baby is my heart and so are my granddogs. The same way I wouldn't want just anyone watching my grandkids and I will make a trip to Pennsylvania JUST to babysit, I also know and understand you don't want just anyone watching your babies.

About: Pet owner from a young age: dogs and cats. My last two dogs have been rescue pit bulls named Misty and Lucy. I’m an avid walker (10k+ steps per day) and love having pets join me on my daily strolls. My work is part time and remote with a flexible schedule so I can adjust to your pet’s schedule. Fully available on weekends as well. I have a partially fenced waterfront home on a non-busy street. My home has one extremely animal friendly pit bull named Lucy. She is 12 and enjoys relaxing on the couch.

About: Hi everyone, I’m Megan. I have 15 years experience and look forward to giving your the very best care. I’m a full-time doggy caregiver and your pup will enjoy all the love and attention that allows me to provide. When your pup is in my care, your papa receive 6 to 8 hours of playtime broken up into 2 to 3 hour sessions throughout the day. When your pups are in my care, safety is priority number one. I do not have additional charges for medication’s or supplements. I can accommodate solo play. A meet and greet is highly recommended. I check for up-to-date, rabies Bordetella and distemper. Huge fence Stone backyard that is set up for social play individual play and multiple play groups. Please label everything I do have a full time job but I check in and do potty breaks multiple times a day. I work 5 mins from my house and can leave when ever to let the pups out and have play time. I care for all ages and breeds. We have a fenced in back yard and a whole room dedicated to our dogs. We accommodate all sizes. We can do some minor training.

About: Hi I'm Amber, I'm new here on rover, but definitely not new to caring for animals. I Have 2 dogs that are my children, so your pup will be treated just like my own. I Can administer medication, shots and pill form; as I give my dog a shot every month. I've Worked in a Petcare Boarding facility for 2 years along with working at PetSmart, so I know a thing or 2 about how the boarding process goes. I have Owned dogs and cared for them since I was 4 years old. I’m doing doggy caregiving full time so your babies will get plenty of love and attention. I prioritize safety first for your fur babies. I can accommodate solo play, or group play in my spacious back yard. A meet and greet is highly recommended before bookings. I check for updated shots (rabies Bordetella and distemper). Please be sure to label everything you bring as well. If you would like to Bring your pups bedding, and toys to make them feel at home, I'm here for it. Clothes with your scent are also highly recommended to help your baby deal with stress, ease anxiety, and feel like home. I live in a great area that is about 10 minutes from downtown Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake. I am also 6 minutes and 2.3 miles away from the Norfolk international Airport. I'm currently doing rover full time, so i have a lot of time to play with your pup and give lots of attention and love! I have a house with a quarter acre fenced yard. I have 2 dogs, 1 i will keep separate considering she's approaching senior years and 1 that is a ball of joy, golden retriever puppy that loves to play. I can keep your dogs with or separate from my puppy if needed. Have experience administering medication with pills and shots, but not certified.

About: I have grown up with caged pets and have always had a love for dogs and other animals. I have raised my mini schnauzer since he was 10 weeks old, sadly we lost him to heart disease right before Christmas of 2025. Spending time with local animals at the SPCA, local shelters and pet stores is one of my pastimes. I am available to take care of your pup Sun-Sat most days. In the fall my schedule will change. Depending on whether we will spend a good amount of time outside. I enjoy going for walks in the neighborhood, or local parks. I have dog toys, and space for your dog to play in the backyard to catch some sunshine. Or if your pet would rather lounge around in the house, is an option as well. I enjoy working in the yard so I spend a good amount of time there.
