“We are new to the area and was looking for sitter/daycare for my pup. We tried a corporate style daycare but it was too overwhelming (for both of us )... So I decided to look on Rover to see if I can find something with a home setting. My pup grew up in a daycare with a family who loves him just as much as I do and I was hoping to continue this type of relationship. I was immediately attracted to the photo of Jason and Renee with all their dogs... they generated joy and peacefulness. Upon meeting them they they are just that! Very impressive. Renee calls Jason the "dog whisperer." I seem to think that that might be true. We only had a meet and greet and this is our first day of daycare, but his insight into how dogs think, what helps their anxiety, and how he can ease the transition and build my pup's confidence is remarkable. I have to say I'm a little protective of my little dog who's just as protective over me. I'm looking forward to continuing on this relationship with Jason and Renee. And hoping that Jason can help my little guy with his confidence and his separation anxiety/dependency on me. Like I said it's only been one day. But I will definitely be back!!”

“I had a great experience with David. He took excellent care of my dog, Leia, and made sure she felt comfortable during her stay. I could tell she was well looked after, and she seemed very happy when I picked her up. One area for improvement would be communication; I would have appreciated more timely responses and receiving pictures of Leia throughout her stay. Overall, I’m happy with the care provided and would recommend David for future bookings.”

“I HIGHLY RECCOMEND! Amber is an angel. My booking was totally last minute and when I say last minute I mean I needed someone in 30 minutes. I had an unexpected emergency and needed someone to watch my German Shepard Gwen while I attended to the situation. This is my first time using Rover so I wasn't sure what to expect but saw Amber was home full-time, a dog trainer and has a 5 star sitter rating I knew she would be the one. When I reached out to Amber she replied immediately and was very eager and willing to help me. Upon arriving at her house I was greeted and invited in. Amber is so friendly and I was put at ease right away as it felt as though I had known her for years not to mention Gwen took to her immediately. I had a later than usual pick up due to my situation, but Amber was extremely understanding and accommodating not to mention Gwen didn't want to leave. I thought I spoiled Gwen but Amber treated her like a princess while she was their not to mention went above and beyond by giving her a full on brushing, which I did not expect. I'm not sure how many of you future bookers know about GSD's but they shed terribly. Needless to say I was ecstatic! Although I typically don't need a sitter for Gwen I will definitely use her again if I do and I would encourage anyone else that is looking for a sitter to not hesitate at all to leave your dog with her. Amber you are the best and thank you so much for taking care of Gwen in my time of need. AMBER YOU ARE AMAZING! :-)”

About: Just a guy and his dog who love other dogs and spending time with them. I believe dogs are happiness on 4 legs(or maybe less, and that’s ok too). Willing to have your dog(s) over to hang out and play with my dog and myself, go for walks, and just have a blast in general. I work two blocks from my house, so I’m able to drop in frequently even if I’m working. Looking forward to hanging with some good boys and girls! Thanks! I’m off work Monday and Wednesday, and work second shift on Tuesday/Thursday. Work is only two blocks away, so I’m able to drop back in frequently to give potty breaks and just check in. I can keep dogs over the weekend if needed, but I work longer shifts those days, and while I can drop in and check on them regularly, I’m not there like I am during the week. I have a fenced in backyard and an 8 year old German Shepherd who is fixed and loves to play with anyone and anything he can. Your dog will have a blast. I can crate them if needed, walks happen every day before and after work, as well as plenty of yard time and lounging on the couch.

About: Hi there! I moved to Virginia Beach area two years ago. I grew up with dogs, cats, small animals such as hamsters and parrots. I love have them around. I currently have a male dog 6 years old. I personally trained him since he was a puppy. Contact me with any questions.
