My dachshunds are so safe due to Derek having a ramp for them to get up on the couch with so they don’t hurt their back. I seriously can not say enough amazing things. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with very different temperaments — from a spirited Australian Cattle Dog to an independent Shiba Inu — and I’ve learned how to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and pace. Dogs in my care enjoy a calm, comfortable home environment, plenty of outdoor time, and lots of attention. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it like an extension of my own routine. I follow your schedule closely — from feeding times to favorite walking routes — so your dog feels secure and settled. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats and small animals since I was a child. Cats are my favorite! I’m comfortable caring for multiple animals from a single household. Got a dog and a cat? Or 2 cats? I would love to watch them! I work from home and have time to spend with your babies while you’re gone! I also have a small dog and a cat (both male & neutered) who are well socialized, trained, and calm personalities. If your baby wants to play, they’ll have a buddy! If not, they’ll have a quiet room to rest. If you board a dog with me, I’ll walk them and exercise them daily with my dog Rocky (he loves having friends visit!). I have a guest room set up to host pets so they have a quiet space to rest. If you board with me, your pet will be welcome in the common area, but if they want their space, they’ll have it! I also have a fenced in yard and access to a local dog park. I want your babies to feel safe and happy while they’re here.

About: I have two high energy doggies of my own so I’m totally used to keeping up and making sure they get that energy out. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter playing with dogs all day I am currently working from home so my availability is pretty flexible to be able to do drop ins/ taking your furry friend on a walk or coming to stay the night with them ! I have two friendly dogs who’d love to play with yours if you needed them boarded , I also can easily crate dogs if that’s what you prefer when they’re left alone

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, of all types. My most recent breed was a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees. I’ve had other large breeds, small breeds as well. I have training in ABA, and I know what it’s like to trust a stranger with your family. As an active duty sailor, I am on shore duty and have found myself with more free time than I could’ve ever imagined. Take those weekend trips you’ve been putting off, and know your doggo is in good hands with me Weekends (Friday-Sunday) are likely the best, but with advanced scheduling I can do during the week as well. If local to Virginia Beach or Norfolk, drop ins are not a problem at all. If you want your dog to stay home, house sitting is an option as well I live in a two bedroom apartment that’s pretty spacious and has vinyl flooring. I am only a few hundred feet from a dog park The community is very dog friendly, and your canine family will have no shortage of friends during their visit
