“Sent plenty of pics, bought treats and took great care of my big boy. Very informative, knowledgeable about dog care. Definitely will be sending my dog to her anytime she's available”

“Tavonne was an incredible sitter for our Canelita! She gave us regular updates on how our little one settled into her new environment and sent pictures so we would see realtime how Canela made other furry friends. I highly recommend Tavonne’s services to put you at ease during your next out of town trip!”

“I read the Brandy’s reviews and was impressed but because this was my first time leaving my dog I was nervous. Brandy was exceptionally great. I got daily updates with pictures and videos. I felt so comfortable after the first night I will use you always for my fur baby. She communicated with me before she gave her anything other than treats and I was very pleased. My fur baby had a great time because the next day after I picked her up she slept lol. Thank you Brandy for doing a great job with my precious cargo (Hennicey).”

“Alexis was the best! We are transitioning from Boston Massachusetts to Hampton roads, and at the last minute I needed a sitter for 2 of my golden doodle boys, to move my remaining items to VA, and Alexis quickly responded and agree to Take my boyz. She took pictures and messaged me daily about much fun they were having. We definitely will utilize Alexis again! We found a sitter here in Hampton Roads! Yay!!”

“I have boarded Cookies more than a dozen times over the past 12 years and Julie will be my go to dog boarder! She asked great questions before drop off and communicated the schedule at pick up so we could stay on schedule at home. She sent me several pictures while I was away so that I could see my fur baby. She let me know how she was adjusting to her environment from the moment she arrived. She shared that my senior dog wasn’t ready to get up when the rest of the family was ready, so they let her sleep in❤️. When my fur baby was leaving, she looked back at the door to see if Julie was coming with us. I look forward to my next trip because I know I can relax and not worry about my dogs’ care.”

“I cannot thank Cassandra and her fam enough! They all cared for dexter so well and kept us all updated along the way. Cassandra was overly helpful and caring. When issues came up with my travel she put my mind at ease and was very flexible and kind. Dexter will definitely want to come back to visit soon :)”

“This was my dog’s first time staying with Krystal and it’s safe to say he enjoyed himself. He gets along great with other dogs so the fact that she has dogs of her own was good. He was energetic and happy when I picked him up. I will definitely use Krystal again for my dog sitting needs in the future!”
“Constance is great! Our schnauzer was in amazing hands, and he seemed to really love his time there. We will definitely schedule with Constance in the future and refer her to anyon els who may need dog sitter support.”

“Angela is the absolute best. She provided the best care and treated my dog like a king. My high energy dog came back so well behaved and incredibly well groomed, she treated him to spa days, made him amazing homemade health treats, stuck to his routine and provided me so many updates and pictures I was never left questioning his wellbeing. I almost don’t want to leave this review so I don’t have to fight for her care in the future. But she is honestly the best care giver. I don’t want anyone else watching my dog but angela at this point. 100/10. Thank you angela ❤️❤️”

“Jakorey took excellent care of my dog when I went out of town. He sent me several pictures of him, walked him and played with him. I would take my dog to Jakorey again. Thank you.”

“We have used Kim before and she is wonderful! She takes great care of or dog, Max, and always communicates with us. She sends pictures, too, which we love. She is flexible with drop offs and pick ups. We will definitely use her again.”
“Erica was phenomenal. I was nervous about leaving my 2 large dogs with someone I just met. However, when I met her prior to boarding my dogs, I knew it was a good choice. She has an area just for the dogs that she boards, was incredibly knowledgeable about dog behaviors and how to handle them. I was especially nervous because my youngest dog is reactive. Erica knew precisely how to manage that. She even worked with my reactive dog and my dog was very responsive. I received ample communication and photos throughout my dogs stay with her. Having Erica watch my dogs gave me peace of mind that I didn’t expect from a new person. I highly recommend Erica and will call her again should I need to board my dogs.”

“Well this was our Kobe first experience with Jackie or anybody since Covid came into our lives. Jackie made the process smooth and informative for us to know how our dog was doing we really appreciate that too so we thank you. She return our to us with good attitude and clean as he came there. So if anybody looking for an outstanding dog sitting Jackie is your best choice. We thank you again and will be using your service in the near future.”

About: I have had pets most of my life from hermit crabs to dogs. I love them so much that I decided to do pet sitting and dog walking. I have watched friends and families pets while they went on vacation. I also have worked as a Pet Care Specialist at the PetHotel for PetSmart for 3 years and enjoyed interacting with all the dogs and cats in our care. My family is military and when we were stationed in New Jersey, I regularly offered pet sitting for many military families that can attest for my quality of care. After moving from New Jersey to here in Virginia I worked at care a lot pet supplies in the boarding and daycare section for 2 years and then ended working at a vet office in the kennel. I love all kinds of pets and I am not afraid to take care of any kind as I personally have 3 dogs , 4 Australian tree frogs , 6 crested geckos, spiders, 3 ball pythons, a bunny, 6 rats, 4 leopard geckos, hissing cockroaches, chickens, pixie frog, 75 gallon freshwater aquarium, 470 gallon pond, betta fish, and a uromastyx. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hampton
After the person who was supposed to watch our lab for a week ghosted us one day before we were supposed to leave for vacation, we decided to give Rover a try. We were pretty nervous to be honest lol We decided to contact Alexis and see if she could take Lucas in last minute. She didn't hesitate to contact back quickly and said yes. I asked if we could meet up first to make sure he would click with her and her pup and she said absolutely. Lucas clicked with her and her family instantly and that gave me peace. She did such a great job with him and contacted me everyday with pictures. You can feel her kind spirit instantly. I highly recommend her and will be using her services again!

Raven was amazing! She agreed to watch my pup on very short notice, which I truly appreciated. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, so I always knew how he was doing. She was also incredibly accommodating when I ended up getting back into town later than expected. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. I would absolutely trust Raven to dog sit for me again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. Thank you again!

I’m so thankful I found Timerra! My baby gets so anxious when we’ve tried boarding outside of our home in the past. Not this time! She made him feel right at home. She even sent pics and videos of him playing with her pups and kiddos, which put me at ease and gave me so much relief to see how well he was doing. Ocho slept almost immediately once he got home. I could tell he was exhausted from all of the playing. Thank you for taking such good care of Ocho, Timerra! You’ll be my first choice anytime we need to go out of town. I can only pray you’ll be available 🙌

Could not have found a more perfect sitter for my dog and my cat for our 5 day long trip. Communication was a breeze and she provided me with multiple photo updates throughout the day. Will most definitely rebook for future needs. Very accommodating and responsible.

Krystal is awesome! We just moved back into the area and luckily she had availability to board our pup for the week. It was like they never missed a beat after 2.5 years. Krystal was very attentive, allowed her other dogs to play with our pup in the backyard and gave updates regularly with pictures. As long as we're in the Hampton Roads area, Krystal has a repeat customer everytime!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
