1. Shelbie M.

“Despite booking with little notice, she made time to come meet the animals before her scheduled sitting. She kept us well informed of everything and all four of our animals loved her, including our German shepherd that can be a true handful sometimes. We got plenty of pictures during her stay and we'll definitely be entrusting out animals to her again in the future!”

2. Anna Mei D.

“Anna is terrific! We have not used Rover before and were a little hesitant with someone staying in our home when we plan on going on vacation. Several weeks before our trip, Anna Mei came to our house and spent about 2 hours with us and our dogs. That was a great way for us to get to know each other and see how comfortable our dogs were with her and she with our dogs. At her suggestion, we spent one night in a hotel as a trial run while she stayed with our dogs. Everything went really well, and she kept us updated on what was going on. She definitely earned our trust, and we are relieved that we found a reliable sitter for when we are on our vacation. We will definitely request her again. Thanks Anna!”

3. Josephine M.
“Josephine has been caring for our furry family now for 4 years. Several of our crew have required medications, so we absolutely wanted to be sure to have someone comfortable doing this. Josephine has always gone above and beyond in her care for them. She sends regular updates, pictures, and develops her own bonds with each pet, which makes us feel safe leaving them in her care while we are away. She is reliable, helpful, observant to needs, and communicates regularly. She understands and values that they are our family and treats them as such. She is an absolute gem and we highly recommend her!”

4. Christopher P.

“Chris was phenomenal! We had to leave our home at 3:00 a.m. for an early flight and was there before we left so our kids wouldn't be alone. We didn't get home until 2:00 a.m. and he didn't leave until we came home! He was amazing with all of our pets but one of our cats has extreme anxiety and can be very aggressive but by the end of the week he was holding him! Chris has an amazing love and respect for animals and will 1,000% be using him in the future!”

5. Kayleigh S.
“Kayleigh is one of the best. My dogs absolutely love her and felt comfortable the first time they met her. She has an instant connection with animals and I would trust her time and time again to watch my baby girls (a wild Boxer and a laid back and loving Shih Tzu). Thank you for loving my girls the way I do, Kayleigh!”

6. Julia & Michael W.

“Julia and Michael were great with our older dogs and looking after our house. They sent regular updates and photos. Julia's flexible schedule also meant our dogs almost always had company. We will definitely book them again and would recommend them for dog/house sitting!”

7. Tyshaun V.

“Tyshaun had great communication throughout the stay and provided plenty of updates! He kept the dogs on schedule with meals and medications and was willing to stay a bit late when our flights were delayed. Very happy with the service.”

8. Kasey A.

“Kasey was great! He came over for a meet and greet and asked questions and showed he really cares for your pet. Took plenty of pictures of our dog and gave us regular updates without being asked. Definitely recommend using him as a sitter. Our dog moose loved him.”

9. Katrenia C.

“I haven’t traveled without my dogs in two years and I was super nervous to leave them especially because they’re a bit older and needy, but Kat reassured me she would take care of them like her own and she did! I was super grateful for the pictures and updates she sent me. 10/10 will be having her take care of my fur babies again :)”

10. Halley D.

“Halley was awesome! Super responsive and very kind. She treated our house with respect and our little beagle was a happy fella when we got home! Hoping to stay in touch with Halley for our dog sitting!”

11. Barbara S.

“Barbara was a true professional while spending the week at our home with our Doberman Kingston. Kingston has never been without his mama, and Barbara made sure to give him the love he needed and keep my wife’s nerves at ease with pictures and videos showing he is in good hands and doing just fine. We will use Barbara every time Kingston needs a sitter.”

12. Ashley R.

“Words can’t even express how grateful we are that we found Ashley. She truly cares for pets and it was so relieving to know they were well cared for while we had a trip for a family member in the hospital. It was one less thing to worry about, which is exactly what we needed. She was always at our home several times a day and took time with them giving companionship which was so important to us. Our kids really are thankful for her sending updates about their fay and photos & videos of the pets. It made them smile each time. It’s just so sweet to see how much she cares and helped our family.”

About: I am an active duty service member. I signed up to help others care for their pets because I need to use Rover as well. I desire to provide excellent pet care service for others. I will inquire about your pet’s personality, special needs, likes and dislikes. I will professionally communicate with you, treat your pet with great care, and your property with respect if welcomed into your home. I am employed full time. Any assistance I would be able to provide would be early morning, late evening during the weekdays, and much greater flexibility on the weekend. I will care for your pets and be respectful to your home. For me that begins with good communication between you and me. Setting clear expectations between us and getting to know your pets as best as possible before the first visit.

14. Samantha T.

“Samantha - Is amazing with my fur babies (2 dogs and a cat). We had her house sitting while we were out of town and she sent photos/videos abd kept our house clean. I am very picky about people who handle my fur babies and I recommend her for any of the rover services. She is very experienced with animal care.”
