I love animals and I had a cat named Precious for 18 years. I got a job at a vet hospital not only because I loved pets but because it was best for Precious. I was able to give her the best quality of life through my job and she sadly passed away in 2025. She was my special girl and I am ready to start caring for animals again. They matter a lot to me and I can’t bring myself to get another cat so I figured all the love and care I have in my heart, I should use it for good and help others in taking care of their precious babies. I’ve learned a lot while working at a vet hospital as well.

“Rodney came to my rescue! Recently I had to go to the ER during the night and I was worried about who would take care of my dogs in the morning. I was able to contact him around 7:00 a.m. so he could come over and take care of the dogs. Potentially it could have been an overnight, but that wasn't needed. It was so wonderful to know that my dogs would be well cared for before and after my return home! Usually he just comes for a drop-in visit every other week, but this required more visits. About: We’re sisters—Elizabeth (37) and Racheal (15)—who love caring for pets of all kinds. Together we provide reliable, loving pet care: walks, playtime, feeding, litter-box/scoop, and medication when needed. We have two dogs and two cats ourselves that are a range of sizes and ages, and we have experience with confident dogs and more reactive ones as well. We will respect your pets' needs and love taking care of them. Dependable, punctual, and great with shy or energetic pets. Happy to send photos and updates. During the summer we are available at any time, any day, so we'll be glad to stop by any time your pet needs us! About: I've taken care of pets from dogs to lizards since I was 12, and have been doing drop-ins and house-sitting for family, friends, and my community for as long as I've been able to drive. I'm able to give meds for older dogs with more needs, and have trained my own dogs well in obedience training, so I have plenty of experience with a firm voice for more unruly dogs that need a little extra attention. I'm good with all animals (even the wild ones), and have experience caring for animals that need to stay separated, and am willing and able to adapt to any family I need. I currently am between jobs, the only duty I have is taking care of my own pets (amd occasionally younger siblings) so I have plenty of time to look after and care for pets I have a gentle hand and a firm voice, and have experience with obedience-training dogs particularly, and have faith in my ability to care for even the more unruly of pets. I am comfortable with crate-training and crate-trained dogs, as well as shutting them in their own room when no one is present in the home. I also have good leash experience, so walks would be easy and comfortable for me.

Before each booking, I make sure I understand the pet’s routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, training expectations, and any special instructions. I would love to stop by and meet you and your pet prior to the booking if possible, putting faces to names. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. Depending on the service will dictate how much time in your space I will spend. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets or animals who need extra assistance, including help with stairs, diapers, or medications. I’ll communicate with the owner throughout the booking and am happy to provide updates and photos so they know their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I’ve always loved animals and I started studying animal care from a young age. I have had many different pets throughout my life from mice, hamsters, and guinea pigs, to cats and dogs. I have a shelter background with experience as a foster for puppies, kittens, seniors, and sick animals. I’ve also had professional training as far as safe handling, engaging exercise and enrichment, and ensuring all interactions and transitions are as stress free as possible. I’m able to administer medications, including injections, and I am able to take care of general first aid. Last but not least, I will treat your pets just as I would want my own to be treated! I hope you’ll consider me! I’m currently working full time from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. I am able to take breaks as needed for drop in care and walks. Once I am off work for the day, I am fully available. I am able to crate as needed. My apartment does have a small dog park which we will frequent. In your home, as well as my own, we will follow whatever routine you have set for your fur baby!
