About: I used to have another rover account and dog watching was my full time job for about 3 years. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. About: I used to work for farmville Va animal shelter for two years,I worked for a private dog boarding center for a year, and I used to have a small business for a year in Farmville Va for pet sitting. I adore and love animals with all my heart, growing up wasn’t easy but having a friendly face such as a pet made it a lot easier. I rescued my hound, Mrs Eve and she has been the best blessing I could ask for. I found her on the side of the road super sick and could barely walk, so I took her to the shelter and adopted her on Christmas Eve! She is up to date with all of her shots and is in very good health! When I found her they believed she was 6-7 weeks old but she was actually 6 months old but was super sick from parasites eating her from inside-out, now she is four years old and living her best life! When I pet sit, I treat the animals as my own! I enjoy being the only sitter with the animals, as I love their love and affection! I am a full caretaker of my dog as well! I work on the weekends so my week days are usually free! Me and my husband have a routine with our dog so we walk her before heading to work and as soon as we get home we walk her as well. She does have food down throughout the day but usually only eats if we are home from work as she sleeps all day! We play with her and her mountain of toys when we come home from work. We do trails/beach walk with her on days we are not busy or working as she deserves to have adventures as well! She sometimes sees our neighbors Dog outside so we allow them two to play together for a little before returning inside! I only have my hound dog Mrs Eve and she stays indoors as we live in an apartment but me and my husband goes on trails with her,take her outside a lot throughout the day and when we aren’t home we have a Roku camera watching her to make sure she is safe! Our neighbor has our number incase of any danger to the building because we would drop anything for the safety of our child (our dog Eve)!

About: I've taken care of pets from dogs to lizards since I was 12, and have been doing drop-ins and house-sitting for family, friends, and my community for as long as I've been able to drive. I'm able to give meds for older dogs with more needs, and have trained my own dogs well in obedience training, so I have plenty of experience with a firm voice for more unruly dogs that need a little extra attention. I'm good with all animals (even the wild ones), and have experience caring for animals that need to stay separated, and am willing and able to adapt to any family I need. I love animals and I had a cat named Precious for 18 years. I got a job at a vet hospital not only because I loved pets but because it was best for Precious. I was able to give her the best quality of life through my job and she sadly passed away in 2025. She was my special girl and I am ready to start caring for animals again. They matter a lot to me and I can’t bring myself to get another cat so I figured all the love and care I have in my heart, I should use it for good and help others in taking care of their precious babies. I’ve learned a lot while working at a vet hospital as well.
About: I’m reopening my schedule after some time off! I started pet sitting by caring for my family’s dog and discovered how rewarding it is to provide reliable, loving care. “Where to even begin with Sariah. She has been walking our boys for months now and we would be lost without her. Originally she started off walking our lab and terrier mix and they both absolutely adored her. Then we unexpectedly had to put our terrier down and she missed him just as much as we did. A month later we rescued our yorkie and she didn’t hesitate taking him on. He wasn’t leash trained, was scared and just over all a traumatized dog. She helped him walk on a leash, carried him when he needed to be carried and loved him through. We are devastated at her moving and not being able to care for our boys anymore. We always knew they were in good hands with her. Sariah thank you so much for taking care of our boys as we would and loving them. You will be missed dearly.”
About: I have always had a love for pets! I got my latest dogther 5 years ago and she is a bundle of joy! Others may say I spoil her but I call it just loving her! ! “We came to VA to bring our son to college, the furbaby was slightly in the way (please don’t tell him I said that!)…so, I contacted Tyrah and she responded immediately and was willing to take our baby with short notice. Tyrah was an absolute god send. She was so polite, her place is super clean— I think my baby came back cleaner than I left him! lol… She sent me daily pictures of my baby settling in just fine with her. He came back mild mannered with his lover boy cuddly personality (usually he comes back from sitters pretty rowdy and jumpy), but not this time. I honestly couldn’t tell he had been away. As much as I want to keep Tyrah a secret (and take her back to GA with me), I’ll tell y’all how great she is and what an amazing gem you have in the Hampton area! She truly was the best! She did everything I asked and more. I appreciate her a million times over and will contact her whenever we’re in town! “Oh my gosh! My boy Neeko had THE BEST time!!!! Cristen was great at sharing photos and videos during his 2 night weekend visit. Her communication is so good. Micheal playing out in the yard with him throwing the ball. The whole family gave Neeko lots of love as if he were their own. Once I picked Neeko up and got him home, he slept the rest of the day. He was completely worn out!! If he were a kid, I think he would be talking about his sleepover for days!!! Lol. I could not have found a more perfect family to love my baby. 🥰”
