“Elizabeth took such great care of our aging dog, she spoiled him rotten. ? She stayed at our house for a week and we felt so comfortable leaving her with the house and our dog, and we have never had any one stay at the house with our dog before, it was such a great experience! But she went above and beyond our expectations, we want to plan another vacation and book Elizabeth before it's too late. Thank you for being you!”

About: I am a licensed attorney by day and lifelong animal lover at heart. I currently work remotely with a flexible schedule while spending time in Virginia helping and supporting my mother as she approaches retirement. My flexibility allows me to provide attentive, reliable care for pets throughout the day, evenings, and overnight stays. I began my own small dog-walking business in San Francisco while I was in college and later worked through Rover walking large-breed dogs and cat-sitting while studying for the California Bar Exam and working as a paralegal. I am comfortable with both small and large dogs, but I especially love giant breeds like Great Danes. I also adore cats and currently have my own beloved cat, DJ Mustard, who has made me even more attentive to feline personalities, routines, and comfort. Animals have always brought joy and grounding to my life. I believe pets deserve patient, loving, observant care and that owners should feel completely comfortable while away from home. I am calm, responsible, communicative, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality and routines. For overnight stays, I also offer optional extras at a bargain cost including homemade pet treats from recipes I have developed myself as well as seasonal or holiday-themed pet portraits and photos. I offer discounts for teachers and service members in honor of my mother, who is a teacher, and my grandfather, who served in the United States Navy. Whether your pet needs companionship, playtime, medication, overnight comfort, or simply someone dependable and kind, I would love the opportunity to care for them. As a remote professional with a flexible schedule, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine through walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, overnight care, and check-ins. Licensed attorney with extensive background checks who provides attentive in-home pet care, including walks, feeding, playtime, cleaning, companionship, overnight support, and thoughtful communication updates.
“It was our first time using a dog sitting service and Leah exceeded all our expectations! She is very friendly and our pets loved being with her while we were away. She was quick to communicate any questions we had and sent us pictures and videos of our babies in her care each day. Would highly recommend her for anyone's pets!”

“We had the pleasure of working with Kayden, who cared for our four dogs while we were away, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the level of care and professionalism provided. Managing multiple pets is no small task, but she handled it with ease, attention to detail, and genuine affection for each of our dogs. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. Kayden provided regular updates, photos, and promptly addressed any questions or concerns. It was clear from the start that she took the responsibility seriously and had a true love for animals. Our dogs were happy, well-exercised, and relaxed upon our return — a testament to the calm and caring environment Kayden created for them. We highly recommend her to anyone in need of a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter, especially for households with multiple pets. We will absolutely be booking Kayden again in the future!”

About: I've been involved with dogs for well over 25 years. We first owned a Greyhound for 12-ish years. After that, I volunteered at our local SPCA, providing dogs that were waiting for adoption walks and socialization. Later, I became a foster parent for a Working-Dog training school. As a semi-retired person, I have plenty of time to watch, walk, and play with your loved-one. Let me know if there are specific skills that you wish me to reinforce, or activities that you wish me to do. I will abide by all rules of a clients home and walk/play on a schedule that you set. I can also pick up the mail and bring it in/place it where is goes.
“Madison did well with 7-up. She provided updates and photos to let us know he was doing fine. She allowed our trip out of town to be worry free knowing 7-up was being cared for.”

“Kathryn was fantastic, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. We have two dogs, one of which can be very nervous. Kathryn came over before our trip and made sure to befriend (Shadow, the anxious dog) even before we left to help make the transition smooth. She walked the dogs while we were away, sent us pictures of them, and was clean. Great experience overall. We will for sure be using her again in the future! 10/10 stars”

“Angela was great with our 2 dachshunds! She gave us updated and pictures with each visit which we loved!! We will definitely book with her again knowing our dogs are in good hands!”

Hilton Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
We were so grateful to find Elizabeth to care for our dog, Piper. She was thoughtful, dependable, and clearly genuinely enjoyed spending time with her, which meant so much to us. She also sent lots of pictures and updates, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and knew Piper had been in wonderful hands. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent pet sitter. Thank you Elizabeth for making all those trips back and forth to our house and offering to go above and beyond!!!

Karla was beyond amazing with our 3 dogs! She went above and beyond in every way and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She kept us updated, treated our babies like her own, and we came home to happy, well cared for dogs. You can truly tell how much she loves animals. We are so thankful for her and would absolutely book with her again!

Haven was great with our two elderly dogs (one of which required medication) and took good care of our house. She was very responsive and sent us regular updates. She was also very understanding and flexible when our travel back home was significantly delayed due to weather.

Kacie is great! She’s very organized, communicates throughout her stay, sends pictures and most importantly takes great care of my pups! She’s also very helpful while she was at my house by bringing in my packages that were delivered and was willing to bring in my trashcan since my trip coincided with trash day. Kacie is observant and takes great care of my pups and lets me know if she notices anything that I may need to keep an eye on, like when she noticed one of my dogs was having some eye irritation. I would definitely recommend Kacie if you need a great sitter!

Sina does such a great job watching our dog. This is the second time we have had her watch Hubert and she is great with him. As a sitter, she is very responsive with communications and thorough with the care we requested. She gets a big smile out of our dog. Thanks!
