This is my job and I love it. Meeting and spending time with new animals is a joy. I'm building my business through word of mouth so you have all my attention. Let me be of help. I answer text/calls between 9am and 11pm unless I am driving, working with someone, or out of town. My catch up day is Monday so if I do not have furry friends to visit and if I'm slow to answer, it’s because I'm covered in my dogs and cannot move. (They are little but insistent.) or running my many errands. I WILL respond to every request even if you are not in my zone. But I cannot respond while working or at church. You and your furry family are important to me, please let me prove it.

I will work with you and your pet to get the same happy review. I limit my work area so I spend more time with your pet and not traveling. Overnight covers a 10-12 hour period such as 8 pm to 8am.

I love small breeds, I’ve had terriers all my life. But my extended family has had larger breeds - pitties, labs, retrievers, and great big mixed loves - which I have often cared for. Mostly, I need to know what will make your dog feel safe with me. I request a meet’n’greet before I accept any job as I want all of us to feel comfortable. I can fit one in quickly if you are in a hurry, even if it's just so I can get the keys and find the food/treats. Although I don't have a cat anyone, I love working with them. Litterboxes do not scare me. And I don't care about love-scratches. I keep strings toys on me for most visits and always have a ball just their size. If your cat is especially timid, I can spend an afternoon reading just so they know someone is there. You would be amazed how much it helps while you are away. I have petsit birds and rabbits and guinea pigs but would love to expand my experiences. Do you have a pet that needs special care? I can do that. Just give me instructions, I will follow them and your pet will be happy at home. I ask for the name of your vet, your phone number to text and any health issues your pet may have before you go. I would love to know their favorite toy, place to hide and favorite treat as well. Anything that will make your pet comfortable, I would love to know. Thank you.
A typical day
With my personal dogs, we regularly do chew and chase. We regularly do short walks and yard play. My fur babies love tug and squeak. With your pets, I like to do what each animal prefers so expect questions about their favorite activities at our meet'n'greet. Please ask if it would be better to drop in visits or a daytime sitting stay. Each provides a defined level of care and charge. Please feel free to ask. Your pets will dictate what is needed. I will work with all of you - four legged and two. For your dog, i'll try to keep it in their comfort zone. I can be their blanket or hill to climb. We can also just have a nice quiet walk and explore. We can stay with your routine or visit the dog park. What works for your furry family member? I can do it.

If you are a regular, please contact me directly as I am booked daily frequently but I will make wiggle room for my familiar friends. I am now accepting bookings for summer & autumn 2026. Except for cats - My adult daughter is my regular backup if needed and she usually covers cats visits because they loooove her. *** BONDED/INSURED and I guarantee my behavior in your home!!! Please check with any of my other clients. I love being video taped!!! Your home is just as safe as your pets! I’ve been the go-to girl for pet care in my extended family, friends, neighbors and even within my church for decades. I’ve helped puppies being born and taken care of seniors who needed medication. I work from home and set hours as you need me. I'm available on short notice if I know you. Otherwise, I prefer a meet and greet with new customers. Details are important for all of us. For Drop-In Visits, what is comfortable for your animal is what I do. We can do playtime or just feed/water/love. Puppies can use me for mountain climbing and senior dogs find me a restful friend. I work with cats as well as dogs and am not afraid of keeping a litterbox clean. Also, if you have any tentative travel plans for 2026; please let me know as soon as possible. I hate turning people down but I already have week long overnight bookings scheduled every month into thru May. I would be glad to block out dates while you firm up your plans, if needed. My work zone is limited - I try to only take jobs within a ***3 MILE radius of CEDAR LANE*** - so I can focus on each pet instead of driving all over the place. If you ask any of my regulars, you will find I can (and have been) called in on an emergency with no hesitation. I only take 1 drop-in on days I have my regular or 3 drop ins on my ‘free’ days. Sittings are a case by case basis but if your pet will work with me, I would love to work with them. I will book as far as 12 MONTHS in advance if you need me. I work my schedule around your pets. Any questions, I will be glad to answer. For clarification - Drop-ins are scheduled between 9 am and 8pm. My phone only works during these hours unless I am sitting your pet. House/Pet sittings can be during the day or an overnight stay. Usually, Day shift is 9am to 5 pm but I am willing to work with you as your schedule requires. Walks and sittings are different things. But I will gladly work with you if you give me advance notice. Overnight stays are usually 8-10pm as needed to 8am. Please ask if you need a different schedule during reservation. If I know in advance, I’m glad to work with you and your pet(s). Hope this helps, I’ve gotten a lot of questions lately. 😉 I am so sorry my rates have gone up but gas and insurance is killing me as an independent contractor. I am willing to give discounts on multi day visits or long stays if you work with me. Thank you! 😊
