“I was scrambling to find dog boarding when my friend canceled on me at the last minute. I had no backup plan and actually thought I’d have to send my dog to a kennel for the week. Luckily, as I was looking up kennels, I found information on Rover. So this was my very first time using Rover and I was extremely nervous. Turns out, there was absolutely no reason for me to be. Rover is very easy to use and I was able to find Julie & Kenneth N’s information. After seeing/reading the positive reviews I made immediate plans to meet them and have them meet my Husky, Max. When Julie & Ken arrived, they were very friendly, easy to talk to and most importantly, they love dogs. I was able to book Max to stay with Julie & Ken for the entire week that we were on a family vacation. As promised, I got daily emails (with pictures) of how Max was doing and Julie even let me know how helpful Max was in the kitchen — by being watchful to ensure Julie didn’t drop anything while preparing lunch. I loved all of the text communications I received — Max was smiling in some of the pics. That put me at ease too. If you want top notch boarding for your dog, then I highly recommend this dog-loving duo. Your dog will be well taken care of and will be happy with Julie & Ken. “Angela is the absolute best. She provided the best care and treated my dog like a king. My high energy dog came back so well behaved and incredibly well groomed, she treated him to spa days, made him amazing homemade health treats, stuck to his routine and provided me so many updates and pictures I was never left questioning his wellbeing. I’m so thankful I found Timerra! My baby gets so anxious when we’ve tried boarding outside of our home in the past. Not this time! She made him feel right at home. She even sent pics and videos of him playing with her pups and kiddos, which put me at ease and gave me so much relief to see how well he was doing. Ocho slept almost immediately once he got home. I could tell he was exhausted from all of the playing. Thank you for taking such good care of Ocho, Timerra! You’ll be my first choice anytime we need to go out of town. I can only pray you’ll be available 🙌
We had an excellent experience with K. Tavonne and her family while they cared for our dog, Blaze. From the moment we dropped him off, we felt confident that he was in good hands. Throughout Blaze’s stay, we received regular updates and pictures, which gave us great peace of mind and allowed us to see how well he was doing. It was clear that Blaze was well cared for, comfortable, and treated like part of their family. K. Tavonne and her family did a wonderful job, and we truly appreciate the love and attention they gave to Blaze. Brandy was fantastic! We left our large 3 year old dog for a week and a half to go on our honeymoon. We were nervous because it’s our first time away from him - especially since he came from a shelter. Brandy truely loves dogs & she made us feel super comfortable. She provided updates & pics/videos daily which not only made us smile but put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation. Erica was beyond amazing with our one year old german shepherd. He has some reactivity and struggles to meet new people. Erica was extremely patient with Kai and let him get comfortable on his own timing. She is very knowledgeable about dogs, their behaviors, and actions to take. While Erica had Kai the communication was phenomenal. Pictures and updates every single day. Walks, playing outside, chilling inside. A very calm environment. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly. Kai was treated like he was her own. The rules, training, and schedule I had for Kai was respected and followed without question. If I ever go anywhere, I know exactly who I trust to watch Kai.. Erica! Thank you so much for all you did for Kai!
Krystal is awesome! We just moved back into the area and luckily she had availability to board our pup for the week. It was like they never missed a beat after 2.5 years. Krystal was very attentive, allowed her other dogs to play with our pup in the backyard and gave updates regularly with pictures. As long as we're in the Hampton Roads area, Krystal has a repeat customer everytime!
