Hi! I’ve been working in animal welfare for over ten years. I previously worked in a small boarding facility and also helped occasionally with a large scale open boarding facility! I have been working and training with dogs since I was 9y old (over twenty years of dog training and competing!). I currently train with my two german shepherds in dog sport now since 2015. I have a quiet household with no children and I only sit one family’s pets at a time. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like individuals and give them what they need then reach out to me! I’m well versed in working breeds, can help with training needs, and manage many different kinds of behavioral quirks in my house as well (from reactivity to resource guarding).

Erica is amazing! Not only is she incredibly experienced with both dogs and cats, but she was also there for me when I needed an emergency boarding with pick-up on very short notice. She treated my fur child with nothing but love, respect, and the firm guidance he needs as a German Shepherd. It was clear that she took the time to get to know him as an individual rather than treating him like just another booking. I am beyond thankful that I found her. Her willingness to learn each pet’s unique personality and needs, along with the level of care and attention she provides, is truly unmatched. I had complete peace of mind knowing he was in her care. We had a very good experience with Erica. She was very communicative and accommodating of our uncertain drop-off/pick-up times. She sent multiple photos, unprompted, of Tala getting along with her dogs as well as helpful updates about her care. Thank you, Erica!

Schedule
I work full time currently and would love to provide boarding for dogs that will be safe, fun, and enjoyable! They will become like my own while at my house and treated with the utmost respect and care.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 4ft fenced yard for your dog to enjoy while staying with me and I never leave dogs unsupervised outside to their own devices. I also love to walk pups at the park up the street when I’m home! Dogs are kenneled while I’m not home as a safety measure or depending on the health/size of your dog I could potentially baby gate in the kitchen. I have a large dog pen as well for pups that aren’t destructive, but would like more space when I’m not home!

A typical day
We spend a lot of time outside playing in the yard. If you’re dog likes to go for runs we love to run at Sandy Bottom! I also love to walk in the neighborhood and Gosnold’s Hope park too with the dogs.
