I work full time currently and would love to provide boarding for dogs that will be safe, fun, and enjoyable! They will become like my own while at my house and treated with the utmost respect and care.

I have a 4ft fenced yard for your dog to enjoy while staying with me and I never leave dogs unsupervised outside to their own devices. I also love to walk pups at the park up the street when I’m home! Dogs are kenneled while I’m not home as a safety measure or depending on the health/size of your dog I could potentially baby gate in the kitchen. I have a large dog pen as well for pups that aren’t destructive, but would like more space when I’m not home!

A typical day
We spend a lot of time outside playing in the yard. If you’re dog likes to go for runs we love to run at Sandy Bottom! I also love to walk in the neighborhood and Gosnold’s Hope park too with the dogs.

Hi! I’ve been working in animal welfare for over ten years. I previously worked in a small boarding facility and also helped occasionally with a large scale open boarding facility! I have been working and training with dogs since I was 9y old (over twenty years of dog training and competing!). I currently train with my two german shepherds in dog sport now since 2015. I have a quiet household with no children and I only sit one family’s pets at a time. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like individuals and give them what they need then reach out to me! I’m well versed in working breeds, can help with training needs, and manage many different kinds of behavioral quirks in my house as well (from reactivity to resource guarding).

Erica was beyond amazing with our one year old german shepherd. He has some reactivity and struggles to meet new people. Erica was extremely patient with Kai and let him get comfortable on his own timing. She is very knowledgeable about dogs, their behaviors, and actions to take. While Erica had Kai the communication was phenomenal. Pictures and updates every single day. Walks, playing outside, chilling inside. A very calm environment. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly. Kai was treated like he was her own. The rules, training, and schedule I had for Kai was respected and followed without question. If I ever go anywhere, I know exactly who I trust to watch Kai.. Erica! Thank you so much for all you did for Kai!

Erica took great care of our boy while we were away. I was really nervous as a first timer and I appreciate the time she took reassuring me of her schedule and contingencies for different behaviors. She sent tons of pics every day which made a nervous paw parent like me very happy. I will gladly rebook with her for any of my dog sitting needs!
Erica was phenomenal. I was nervous about leaving my 2 large dogs with someone I just met. However, when I met her prior to boarding my dogs, I knew it was a good choice. She has an area just for the dogs that she boards, was incredibly knowledgeable about dog behaviors and how to handle them. I was especially nervous because my youngest dog is reactive. Erica knew precisely how to manage that. She even worked with my reactive dog and my dog was very responsive. I received ample communication and photos throughout my dogs stay with her. Having Erica watch my dogs gave me peace of mind that I didn’t expect from a new person. I highly recommend Erica and will call her again should I need to board my dogs.
