About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience working in animal shelters, dog daycare centers, and boarding facilities. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. After recently losing my beloved dogs, I realized I wasn't quite ready for another long-term commitment, but I deeply missed having dogs around. Rover has given me the perfect opportunity to open my home and heart to dogs while helping other pet parents feel confident their pets are in good hands. I'm a stay-at-home mom, which means your dog will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and exercise. I also have two cats who grew up with dogs and are comfortable sharing their space, as well as two young children who have been around dogs their entire lives and know how to interact respectfully with them. For the comfort and safety of every pet in my care, I only accept dogs from one household at a time. This allows me to provide individualized attention and create a calm, stress-free environment during their stay. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. My mornings typically begin with feeding pets, potty breaks, walks, or playtime before my family's daily activities start. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive frequent attention, supervision, and companionship rather than being left alone for long periods. Throughout the day, I can accommodate additional potty breaks, outdoor time in our fenced yard, feeding schedules, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection and enrichment. In the evenings, pets are included in our family's relaxed routine, with more playtime, walks, and cuddles before bedtime. For boarding and daycare, dogs are rarely left unattended, and I only accept pets from one household at a time to ensure each pet receives personalized care and attention. I care for every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, preferences, and personality. I understand that being away from their family can be stressful, so I strive to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. For dogs, I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. Dogs have access to our large fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and because I am home throughout the day, they receive consistent attention and companionship. I only care for dogs from one household at a time, which allows me to focus on their individual needs and maintain a low-stress environment. For cats, I ensure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and attention at their comfort level. Whether your cat enjoys playtime, cuddles, or simply having a quiet and reliable caretaker, I respect their personality and routine. I am also comfortable following special instructions, administering medications when needed, and providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Leila loves being in Michelle's home and loves playing with Ollie! Our meet and greet last week revalidated how gentle Leila is with toddlers. Great playful videos of my happy Gentle Giant. I would trust her with Leila anytime!”
“Megan and her family were great. They made sure my dog stayed busy and had lots of attention. She also had fun playing with Megan’s dogs. I will definitely use Megan again in the future.”

About: Hi! I've been lucky to have had dogs in my life for over 20 years, and I can't imagine life without them. I am currently doing a longterm foster for a military family and can only accept dogs that do well with a large dog. I don't have a fenced yard, but I make up for it with plenty of walks around the neighborhood and fun trips to the park or the beach. At home, I've got lots of cozy spots for your furry friend to curl up, plus belly rubs and snuggles on demand. I'll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated with lots of photos and notes so you can relax while you're away. I work from home most of the week, which means plenty of time for cuddle breaks and attention throughout the day. I'm happy to take dogs on multiple walks and give them lots of love between work tasks. I don't have a fenced yard, but I live in a walkable neighborhood and love taking dogs out for regular walks. Pets are always welcome on the furniture, and they'll have free range of the house while I am at home. For everyone's comfort and safety, a meet and greet is required before confirming a reservation.
“You can tell she loves dogs. Autumn cared for our pup with love and understanding, and made sure she got her walks and play time in. Riley was tuckered out on the way home and looked like she wanted to go back for more day care! We will definitely be booking with Autumn again. Thank you!”

“Anna has been taking fantastic care of our Samoyed every Tuesday for a couple months now. Her kids play with him and he is never happier than when we pull up to her house. I’m so glad we found Anna. Cannot recommend more highly.”

“MaryAnn did a great job with our German Shepherd, Nash! He's a little shy at first in new situations, but he warmed up quickly, and I could tell that he really enjoyed staying with her. She did a wonderful job making sure that he was comfortable and cared for. He really took a liking to her and turned into a Velcro dog with her! She gave very informative updates and sent photos throughout the day. She's also very careful about introductions and making sure that all the dogs get along. I definitely trust her and will be a repeat client!”

About: Hello! I come to Rover with over 40 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve spent my entire life around animals, and for over 30 years (beginning as a volunteer at age 14 with my local wildlife museum), I’ve worked hands-on with animals in a variety of settings. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love and feel deeply connected to. Every pet has their own personality, routines, and little quirks, and taking the time to understand what makes each one feel safe, comfortable, and happy is what makes me an exceptional pet sitter. Whether it’s keeping up with your furry family member's familiar routines (such as going for walks, play, and mealtimes) or simply offering calm companionship in whatever form that takes, I cater to each pet individually so they feel as at ease as possible while you’re away. My background in nursing makes me comfortable administering most medications—including pills, injections, and specialized treatments—with confidence and ease. I always follow your care instructions and often take pictures or videos at our meet-and-greet to refer back to later as well. (I can also do more than one meet-and-greet if necessary for an additional cost based on time and driving distance.) In addition to practical care, I bring a grounded, gentle presence and am certified in animal Reiki, which can be especially comforting for anxious or high-energy pets. I also treat your home with the same respect and care I give your pet so that you can return to a calm, tidy space and a happy companion. I currently have a very flexible schedule that can be adapted to a variety of needs, including caring for birds, rodents, reptiles, and more, ensuring I can meet your pet's unique needs. I hope I get the opportunity to meet with you and your pet in person and see if we might make a good fit! I am not currently working outside the home, apart from Rover, and do not accept other jobs while I am caring for your pet (s). When you book me as your sitter I can guarantee that your pet will have my undivided attention the whole stay. Earning your pets trust and ensuring they are always safe, (both inside the home and outside on walls, etc.), is my top priority as a pet sitter. I follow the rules you put into place for their care and will always contact you should there be any concerns. (Thankfully there rarely are!)
