About: I love dogs and have taken care of our family dog. I understand how precious they are and how they deserve to be treated with compassion and love I'm newly retired and would love to provide love and nurturing care to your sweet furbaby! Plenty of space and a large fenced yard! Plenty of rubs and walks I have a plenty of room, a large fenced yard and a friendly senior dog. I am usually asked by neighbors and friends to care for their dogs for short term or long term
About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m twenty now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. In school, my teacher had a pet chameleon and turtle and I always was excited to help feed them. I actually started majoring in Biology at first in college to be a veterinarian or zoologist. I have a different path now to help children but I still have a passion for pets and other beautiful creatures of this Earth. I will take care of your fur babies just like I did mine and love them just as much. I am a college student as mentioned before but I have all online classes this upcoming Fall semester amd I live on campus but can be at home when needed for boarding. I go to ODU so I can take business there as well but mainly for dog walking or pet sitting at your residence in the nearby area. I do rely on my mother, brother or friends for transportation but they are willing to help and be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. Then spend more time with them until our fun is over and they are returned with their beloved owners. I will have a whole day well planned and you and your fur babies will appreciate it. :)

I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. I will treat them as if they were mine9. I have two small dog that does fine with other dogs. My yard is fenced and secure. I believe dogs belong in the house since they are part of the family.

About: Hey y’all! My name is Kayla. I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. I am 34 years old and grew up with dogs and cats. My family has always been pet centric and I pet sit often for them. My true life passion has always been working with animals, and I hope to utilize my psychology degree to do some sort of animal-child based therapy someday. I am looking to earn extra money to pay off my college loans faster, and break up the monotony of working fully remote. I would love to help out with your fur babies. I am in sales and working 100% from home. Your pets will be treated like they are my own. I spent the last 2 years working and living on a hobby farm before moving back to Va. I’d be happy to help out! I am working from home indefinitely so I can do multiple drop in visits, multiple walks, and give a lot of attention to your pet! I have a dog myself and a cat with a neurological condition. She is completely healthy but requires some extra care. I love animals and wanted to be a veterinarian growing up. “MaryAnn did a great job with our German Shepherd, Nash! He's a little shy at first in new situations, but he warmed up quickly, and I could tell that he really enjoyed staying with her. She did a wonderful job making sure that he was comfortable and cared for. He really took a liking to her and turned into a Velcro dog with her! She gave very informative updates and sent photos throughout the day. She's also very careful about introductions and making sure that all the dogs get along. I definitely trust her and will be a repeat client!”

“Megan and her family were great. They made sure my dog stayed busy and had lots of attention. She also had fun playing with Megan’s dogs. I will definitely use Megan again in the future.”

“I recently moved here and was anxious about finding a sitter for Taco. I'm so glad I can trust Julie and Kenneth to take care of Taco while I'm away at work. They make sure he's happy and I also get a very detailed summary about how his day went. I highly recommend them and will be using them regularly.”

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has been a lifelong part of my life. I’ve grown up around dogs and other animals of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My mom has owned and operated a professional dog grooming and boarding business since 2017, so I’ve had years of hands-on experience caring for pets in a boarding environment. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, and pets who need a little extra patience and attention. I treat every pet like family and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Being a stay-at-home mom to my toddler gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I’m home most of the day, so pets get regular potty breaks, attention, playtime, and plenty of love rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m also able to work pet care naturally into our daily routine. For boarding in my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment with regular potty breaks, playtime, attention, and plenty of cuddles. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions. For drop-ins or sitting in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their pet comfortable in their familiar environment while following their usual routine. I’m happy to provide walks, meals, potty breaks, playtime, cleanup, and lots of attention. My goal is always for pets to feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their family is away.

“I have used Tashaun over and over for both dog sitting and boarding. He is amazing! The dogs are always well taken care of, they get lots of exercise and play time, and he send pics each day. He responds quickly and is so friendly. Honestly, he’ll always be my first pick as long as he’s available. Highly recommend!!!”

Even if my calendar is blocked out for a particular day, feel free to message me and I'll see what I can do. I have experience with an anxious dog and currently an anxious cat so I am able to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere. I like to allow the pet to get comfortable with me in their own way and time and only greet them in small bits (i.e., letting them sniff my hand a few times before petting). I am organized to ensure pets have what they need before I leave (whether my own cat or for client's pets).

Sections of the house are gated off, so my cats had their own space. I also appreciated her updating me with daily photos. If I need to board again I’d definitely do it through Sherry again!”

“I contacted Daisy LATE for the possible care of my Dog as a previous Sitter was not a good fit...we had a Meet/Greet on same day I contacted her which went well!! and she agreed to watch him for the weekend! She sent pictures plus she has an older dog who is chill like mine and they got along fine!! Her and her husband, Walter really cool people who care about and for your pet. very clean house, plenty of fenced in yard for my dog to 'explore'. I highly recommend Daisy, husband Walter and their 'boy' Teddy!!!!”
“Rebecca was Amazing! She worked with Peanut, maintained the limitations that we established at home and communicated frequently via text message and videos! It takes me 30 mins to get to her, but it is 1,000% worth it!”

“We love Maria and Matt! Our dog, Max has stayed with them twice and it is always great! Max comes home very happy and there is always lots of communication.”

“Aurelie was absolutely incredible with Hermione! I received frequent pictures, very clear and helpful communication and she took incredible care of my big baby! She even dealt with very upset tummy situations and was incredible!! Will be using her every time I travel, my girl loved her!”

“Melissa and Jeremy are pet sitters extraordinaire! We have an elderly dog who has lots of quirks and needed extra help with exercise and diet. Melissa really paid attention to both our dog’s needs and our anxiety over leaving her with them. We got constant feedback, updates, pictures and short videos keeping us updated. Was very supportive and even gave us a workable suggestion for getting our Princess to take her meds. I wish I could give them 10 stars!”

“Had a delay with our flight picking her up and Stacy was able to accommodate kiya for another night! Sent pictures and had other dogs for her to play with. I know my puppy had an amazing time and Stacy was truly amazing. Will be booking again!”
