About: I have owned and raised dogs since I was a teenager. I have raised many different breeds from Goldendoodles to pit bulls. I currently have 5 dogs that I have rescued. They are all with my fiancé in Texas so no need to worry about your dogs getting along with mine. I am currently active duty but I am on shore duty so I don’t spend a lot of hours in the office. A normal day is around 3 hours and a long day is around 5. Weekends are almost always off. I have a completely fenced in property. I bought the house for all of my 5 dogs but they have since gone to live with my fiancé in Texas. I have no furniture or bed rules. They can hang out or sleep with me anywhere I am. I treat dogs as family and I want them to be just as comfortable as me.

“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”

About: Hi! I've been operating on Rover for about 5 years now! I've had dogs for as long as I can remember and love being around them. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from Papillons to German Shepards. I am accepting of all breeds, sizes and ages. I've had several dogs with allergies and other health issues, so I am experienced in giving medications, applying any topicals, and noticing any developing symptoms. I also have lots of experience with cats and even have one of my own with medical issues, so I would love to do drop ins for your feline friends! I am currently a student at Eastern Virginia Medical School and am in my last year so my schedule can be somewhat variable. However for the next few months I will be available for mid-day walks/cat visits! I have a 7 year old Pit Bull Terrier that absolutely loves all other animals and can adjust his play style according to other dogs sizes. I also have a small fenced in outdoor patio where your dogs can relax outside with some sun in between walks. I live alone so there won't be too much stimulation from others, and there's plenty of space for your pup to take some time to their selves if needed.

About: My name is Molly! I lived on a farm for 6 years and raised Australian shepherds so I have a lot of experience with dogs. My family adopted my first dog named Shiloh when I was 7 and she was a beagle mix. We lost her when she was 15, but she lived a long, happy, and healthy life. I am currently a Physician Assistant Student so I will be in class for a few hours per day, but otherwise I am mostly at home. I have a small chihuahua/Pomeranian mix that is 5 years old. She loves to play with dogs of all sizes (she grew up with labs and Australian shepherds). Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and be potty trained. We typically go out for a walk/potty break every 3-4 hours, but can go out more/less if needed. -raised, trained, and bred Australian shepherds -cared for diabetic dog requiring insulin injections -cared for handicapped pug that has seizures and requires several medications throughout the day -have done house sitting / dog sitting with many different breeds: pit Bull, German shepherd puppy, boxer, vizsla mix, plott hound, husky, beagle, Maltese, and more! Dogs are my life and they bring me so much joy. I don’t know what I would do without my furry best friends <3 In school, but home most of the day. Never gone for more than 4 hours at the most. Home all weekend. Potty breaks/walks every 4 hours at most I live in a safe neighborhood. My apartment is very spacious and safe. My dog has beds all over the house and plenty of toys to share. She sleeps with me in my king sized bed or in her bed.

Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. About: Dogs & cats have been part of my life as long as I can remember! From having multiple dogs since the day I was born, taking care of family, friends & neighbors animals. But in my recent years, I have been a major cat mom! I currently have 2 cats, aged 1.5 & 14! Yes, very opposite age/energy levels! I handle animals, all sizes, gender, attitude & energy levels, extremely well & treat all fur babies as my own! I’m also comfortable with giving animals medication. I’m also big on other house maintenance. As in, taking out the trash, receiving your mail, watering plants & other basic household needs! My services include: - Dog Walking (Weekdays & Weekends): Whether it’s a midday walk while you're at work or an early morning weekend stroll, I make sure dogs get the exercise, enrichment, and potty breaks they need. - Drop-In Visits: Perfect for feeding, fresh water refills, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. I tailor each visit to meet the specific needs of dogs and cats, ensuring they feel safe and cared for. - Overnight Pet Sitting: For pets that need extra care and comfort while their owners are away, I provide in-home overnight stays, keeping up with their regular routines, feeding schedules, and offering plenty of love and attention. - Veterinary & Grooming Appointments: If your pet has a scheduled vet visit or grooming appointment, I offer safe and reliable pet transport to ensure they receive the care they need. About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of this year :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY thru SATURDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.
About: Hi there, I've had dogs growing up, from small indoor princess types of sweethearts to larger, outdoor pups that take care of the home and property. I've taken care of pets in my home and have gone to house/pet sit while pup parents are on vacation. I pride in caring for your pup as my own because I know what it's like to have to leave them behind. Rest assured you will receive many updates. About: I stop and play with every pet that I meet. I love animals and want to continue my journey with pet care. I am open to doing sitting and walking. I am open to walking in the mornings at anytime after 6am. The sittings will have to be scheduled more in advance as I do have a job. I live on campus so I’m not able to host animals but I am able to walk dogs that live close to my community and I’m able to dog sit if you live close.

Friends, neighbors, and colleagues have hired me by word of mouth, so pleased with the level of care I provide to their home and/or fur-baby. I go to work, come home, and give them all of my attention. I care for my clients’ pets in their preferred way, with whatever is relayed to me. Then I always add a little extra love and care. I make sure to know any allergies, places or animals to avoid on walks, and preferred discipline strategies. When I am house-sitting, I follow the instructions handed to me while being sure to make it seem as though I was never there upon my departure. Clean, cozy, and better than when you left it.

About: I have owned and raised dogs since I was a teenager. I have raised many different breeds from Goldendoodles to pit bulls. I currently have 5 dogs that I have rescued. They are all with my fiancé in Texas so no need to worry about your dogs getting along with mine. I am currently active duty but I am on shore duty so I don’t spend a lot of hours in the office. A normal day is around 3 hours and a long day is around 5. Weekends are almost always off. I have a completely fenced in property. I bought the house for all of my 5 dogs but they have since gone to live with my fiancé in Texas. I have no furniture or bed rules. They can hang out or sleep with me anywhere I am. I treat dogs as family and I want them to be just as comfortable as me.

“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”
