About: Dogs & cats have been part of my life as long as I can remember! From having multiple dogs since the day I was born, taking care of family, friends & neighbors animals. But in my recent years, I have been a major cat mom! I currently have 2 cats, aged 1.5 & 14! Yes, very opposite age/energy levels! I handle animals, all sizes, gender, attitude & energy levels, extremely well & treat all fur babies as my own! I’m also comfortable with giving animals medication. I’m also big on other house maintenance. As in, taking out the trash, receiving your mail, watering plants & other basic household needs! I first started off using Rover to have other local animal lovers to watch my babies when I needed a hand. I’m excited to join the wonderful community & give you a helping hand! ☺️ My availability is open as of now, not including holidays & I will do my best to update my calendar daily or weekly. Certain cases, when communicated, I can adjust my schedule/time! ☺️ I will always follow house rules when coming to new/returning homes. I will spend the entirety of the drop in, with your baby. I want to make sure they are getting my full attention. If other tasks are needed, I will attend to them afterwards.

About: Hi there, I've had dogs growing up, from small indoor princess types of sweethearts to larger, outdoor pups that take care of the home and property. I've taken care of pets in my home and have gone to house/pet sit while pup parents are on vacation. I pride in caring for your pup as my own because I know what it's like to have to leave them behind. Rest assured you will receive many updates. I am available to meet you and your pet before booking a visit so we can all get time together. I lpve walks and belly rubs or petting cats and just spending time with them at home or on the go. About: I grew up with large dogs who were my extra siblings. I've been dog walking and pet/house sitting since I was a teenager, and I have lots of experience with all kinds of pets. I'm comfortable with dogs that jump up and pull on the leash. I've worked with a wide range of cat and dog personalities from shy and skittish to the most outgoing. My current roommates include a chatty cat, a German Shepherd, and a tortoise! I'm currently in my 4th year at EVMS, so my schedule is a little variable. Right now I can do afternoon walks most days with more variable morning availability. A clean and safe environment is key to happy, healthy pets. I'll always pick up after them and watch for potential hazards. I've worked with some professional counter surfers before, so I'm excellent about not leaving food where a fur baby can get into it.

About: I have five years of pet-sitting and house-sitting experience as a form of income, but I have been a pet owner and lover of animals for my entire life! Friends, neighbors, and colleagues have hired me by word of mouth, so pleased with the level of care I provide to their home and/or fur-baby. I currently work full-time, Mon-Fri with late afternoon (starting at 3pm) and full weekend availability. I have two cats that I love and care for with all my heart. While I make coffee, I obey their need for a morning treat and roll up the window blinds so they can watch the birds as the sun rises. Our morning routine. I go to work, come home, and give them all of my attention. I care for my clients’ pets in their preferred way, with whatever is relayed to me. Then I always add a little extra love and care. I make sure to know any allergies, places or animals to avoid on walks, and preferred discipline strategies. When I am house-sitting, I follow the instructions handed to me while being sure to make it seem as though I was never there upon my departure. Clean, cozy, and better than when you left it.

About: Hey y’all! My name is Kayla. I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. I am 34 years old and grew up with dogs and cats. My family has always been pet centric and I pet sit often for them. My true life passion has always been working with animals, and I hope to utilize my psychology degree to do some sort of animal-child based therapy someday. I am looking to earn extra money to pay off my college loans faster, and break up the monotony of working fully remote. I would love to help out with your fur babies. I am in sales and working 100% from home. Your pets will be treated like they are my own. I spent the last 2 years working and living on a hobby farm before moving back to Va. I’d be happy to help out! I am working from home indefinitely so I can do multiple drop in visits, multiple walks, and give a lot of attention to your pet! I have a dog myself and a cat with a neurological condition. She is completely healthy but requires some extra care. I love animals and wanted to be a veterinarian growing up. I take my dog on multiple walks, and have play time throughout the day with my dog and cat. They’re allowed on the furniture and in my bed. I will treat your pet the same! Plus I have quite a bit of room in my condo so your fur baby will not be cooped up.

About: I started working as a vet tech at 17 and have two years of boarding experience at a veterinary hospital, well versed in schedules and procedures including medication and special needs. Currently working but flexible schedule, willing to work with your needs! Older/less active dogs preferred but happy to play with a puppy when so necessary. I worked directly beneath the boarding manager and trained new staff in observation, care schedules, and proper safety protocols. I also form bonds of trust with any animal I’m working with to ensure their and my comfort.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life. From dogs of all ages and breeds, cats young and old, birds and even Guinea pigs. My love for animals show in the way I care for them. I am a homebody and would rather stay at home watching Netflix with your pet and my cat. I work during the week but I am free to board on weekends. I have a fenced backyard and a nice neighborhood for plenty of walks. My cat is dog friendly as long as your dog is cat friendly.

About: I treat dogs like people, because they are essentially furry baby humans. I currently have a two year old Alaskan Malamute who loves friends and needs mom to be home for more adventures with other furry friends! We don't mind getting dirty or going swimming or letting all the passersby have furry pets as we walk around the city. Your baby will be an extension of my own baby and will be well played with and taken care of! I also live close to the dog park in Belltown and Sculpture Park. I do have a car if travel becomes necessary or we planned on taking an extensive fun adventure day to another off leash dog park, or beaches, etc. I look forward to pampering your pooch baby! I’m currently in between work and have an open schedule. I typically have an 8AM rise time and in bed by 11pm if I can help it! I can follow instructions well and not afraid to ask questions if I need to. I make sure the home is always safe and if something needs to be cleaned up, it’ll be taken care of!

About: I am an active young man with free time at all hours of the day. I own a dog and grew up with both cats and dogs. I haven’t met an animal that doesn’t like me. I live in a home with a fenced in yard. The neighborhood is quiet and plenty of areas to walk. I am a very compassionate person and have a strong love for all animals. I only allow the best for my Lab and I only give the best for others. Friends and family call me for help with their animals, I want to help others around me while also getting to enjoy what I love! Animals are the greatest gift to us! I am a full time flight student. My schedule is very open, I fly for a few hours per day and am home for the rest of the day. We have a fenced in backyard and space for crates. We have an 11 year old black lab female who loves company. We are used to frequent potty breaks and sun bathing in the back yard.

She shared tips with us along the way to help her acclimate to her new sitter and ease her separation anxiety. She also sends the best pictures and even the occasional sketch of our dawgter. PLUS, she also does little treat scavenger hunts to burn her energy on days it’s too hot for a long walk. 10/10, no notes.”

About: I am a devoted pet parent and caretaker. I have had many childhood pets including the care of family/family friends animals. I have 8 years of experienced pet care. My responsibilities include; administering medication (not including injections or rectal administration), providing fresh food/water, and maintaining a safe exciting environment! My life is mostly revolved around my cats, dog and hamster! I currently am a part time student unemployed. My schedule is very flexible, so I have much free time to care and keep company for your critters! I always ensure certain items stay stationary especially when they are fragile or toxic to my own and clients pets! Dogs/cats are quite curious so I’ve developed an extra set of eyes for their tomfoolery. Most importantly to gain the trust and comfort of your pets I typically greet them while sitting on the floor, so they aren’t intimidated and can sniff away!
