When tyler came to the door Koda was in protective mode, thankfully tyler didn’t get scared off instead he suggested a new approach to them meeting and once Koda sniffed him he immediately let tyler take the leash! About: Dogs & cats have been part of my life as long as I can remember! From having multiple dogs since the day I was born, taking care of family, friends & neighbors animals. But in my recent years, I have been a major cat mom! I currently have 2 cats, aged 1.5 & 14! Yes, very opposite age/energy levels! I handle animals, all sizes, gender, attitude & energy levels, extremely well & treat all fur babies as my own! I’m also comfortable with giving animals medication. I’m also big on other house maintenance. As in, taking out the trash, receiving your mail, watering plants & other basic household needs! I first started off using Rover to have other local animal lovers to watch my babies when I needed a hand. I’m excited to join the wonderful community & give you a helping hand! ☺️ I currently do not work & am located Downtown Norfolk. My availability is open as of now, not including holidays & I will do my best to update my calendar daily or weekly. Certain cases, when communicated, I can adjust my schedule/time! ☺️ I will always follow house rules when coming to new/returning homes. I will spend the entirety of the drop in, with your baby. I want to make sure they are getting my full attention. If other tasks are needed, I will attend to them afterwards.

About: I started working as a vet tech at 17 and have two years of boarding experience at a veterinary hospital, well versed in schedules and procedures including medication and special needs. Currently working but flexible schedule, willing to work with your needs! Older/less active dogs preferred but happy to play with a puppy when so necessary. I worked directly beneath the boarding manager and trained new staff in observation, care schedules, and proper safety protocols. I also form bonds of trust with any animal I’m working with to ensure their and my comfort.

About: I absolutely adore animals! I've lived with pets all my life and right now my two cats bring me endless joy. I love taking walks with my sister and her sweet pup, and I am ready and excited to walk with your furry friend! About: i’ve always loved animals and grew up cats, dogs and chickens! i started walking dogs in the neighborhood when i was ten and have been caring for animals for friends and family every since! i have a lot of flexibility and am able to do drop in care and walks most days. morning and afternoons are best for me but i can make exceptions when needed :) i’ve been providing drop in pet care for years and your pets safety and happiness are my biggest concern. i provide dog walking, or care when you are at work or out of town and unable to feed or let your pets out.

About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of this year :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY thru SATURDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.

About: Hi! Im Erin and I LOVE animals! They are our "furry babies" and we have a duty to make sure they are well taken care of like any other family member! I've been caring for pets since I was a child and have welcomed several breeds and varieties in my home over the years from cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, snakes, turtles, even horses and pigs! I have a cat and a bunny who are friendly and love meeting new pets! My cat Oliver is a loving and cool "big bro" and my bunny Lucy will keep everyone happy and energetic! I know its hard to leave those precious babies home alone while you work all day so let me be their "best friend" when you need the help! I am an Insurance Agent so I work from home most of the week. I have my weekends off but I have time during the week to care for your pets in between meetings and in the evenings. I am not hosting at the moment due to renovations in my home, but I will gladly come to your home to take out your pets or to feed and keep them company while you are away on business or holiday. I am willing to stay at your residence to care for your pets if accommodations are available. I will be willing to wash and perform light grooming if needed and take them where you'd like with and other amenities your pet may need. All can be discussed and negotiated for the situation.

About: I have five years of pet-sitting and house-sitting experience as a form of income, but I have been a pet owner and lover of animals for my entire life! Friends, neighbors, and colleagues have hired me by word of mouth, so pleased with the level of care I provide to their home and/or fur-baby. I currently work full-time, Mon-Fri with late afternoon (starting at 3pm) and full weekend availability. I have two cats that I love and care for with all my heart. While I make coffee, I obey their need for a morning treat and roll up the window blinds so they can watch the birds as the sun rises. Our morning routine. I go to work, come home, and give them all of my attention. I care for my clients’ pets in their preferred way, with whatever is relayed to me. Then I always add a little extra love and care. I make sure to know any allergies, places or animals to avoid on walks, and preferred discipline strategies. When I am house-sitting, I follow the instructions handed to me while being sure to make it seem as though I was never there upon my departure. Clean, cozy, and better than when you left it.

About: I have had pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, tortoises, frogs, hamsters, etc. I love all animals dearly and have experience with young pets as well as seniors! I'm currently working full-time so my availability is limited to hours outside of 9-5 on Mondays through Fridays and weekends. My availability tends to be quite open on weekends. I live in an apartment complex so I do not have a private fenced in yard, but there are plenty of parks and open spaces near my home in which I can provide plenty of walking and exercise space (on leash!)

About: I stop and play with every pet that I meet. I love animals and want to continue my journey with pet care. I am open to doing sitting and walking. I am open to walking in the mornings at anytime after 6am. The sittings will have to be scheduled more in advance as I do have a job. I live on campus so I’m not able to host animals but I am able to walk dogs that live close to my community and I’m able to dog sit if you live close.
