About: Due to frequently moving around for my moms job, I wasn't able to have a pup to myself, however that never stopped my from caring for others. Where ever we called home, I became the go-to pet sitter in my community. In the beginning I advertised myself to my moms coworkers and before I knew it, people already new my name and would refer me to others. I was only allowed to care for these fur babies on school breaks during my primary years and I still do so now when I visit my mom overseas. In the past I have done boarding, drop-ins as well as walks. Walks: I usually walk dogs about 3-4 times a day. At wake up usually around 8am around human lunch time (noon) another about 4 or 5pm and another before bed 10/11. My walks usually span from 15-45 minutes. Lunch walks are on the shorter side as well during peak heat hours. Longer walks are morning and afternoon/night times as I have more time to dedicate and its usually cooler. If your doggie needs more or less walks/time outside I am happy to accommodate. Attention: I am more than happy to accommodate to your pups personality and regular home life. If your doggo loves cuddles and kisses I am free for all the above but if that is not their style let me know and can provide space for alone time (or parallel laying lol). I allow pets on my bed but if this will interfere with their learning and home training, let me know these limitations. Playtime: I usually play with pups when they show signs that they will like to play. Whether they have the zoomies and we round around or if we are playing tug-a-war. If you have a more active dog, I will accommodate with more activities and longer walks. If they enjoy running I can also comply as I am trying to get better at running. If your dog has a preference for dog parks, let me know so I can accommodate as well. Being a college student, I am flexible when it comes to a pups needs. I work a part-time job as well as attend classes but, I live a block away from both so quickly getting home or to my car is not a problem. I am a pretty active person as I like to walk and experience nature to its fullest. I know some nice spots to walk and stretch your doggos legs. I also know how to get comfortable and cuddle :) For this fall semester I have classes during the day and have a part-time job during the evening (3-4h) but I am able to work a proper, caring schedule to care for you babies. Emergencies: PLEASE provide me your dogs medical records as well as your vets number and location. This is for emergencies only and I will contact you first if anything arises.

About: I grew up with large dogs who were my extra siblings. I've been dog walking and pet/house sitting since I was a teenager, and I have lots of experience with all kinds of pets. I'm comfortable with dogs that jump up and pull on the leash. I've worked with a wide range of cat and dog personalities from shy and skittish to the most outgoing. My current roommates include a chatty cat, a German Shepherd, and a tortoise! I'm currently in my 4th year at EVMS, so my schedule is a little variable. Right now I can do afternoon walks most days with more variable morning availability. A clean and safe environment is key to happy, healthy pets. I'll always pick up after them and watch for potential hazards. I've worked with some professional counter surfers before, so I'm excellent about not leaving food where a fur baby can get into it.

About: I have five years of pet-sitting and house-sitting experience as a form of income, but I have been a pet owner and lover of animals for my entire life! Friends, neighbors, and colleagues have hired me by word of mouth, so pleased with the level of care I provide to their home and/or fur-baby. I currently work full-time, Mon-Fri with late afternoon (starting at 3pm) and full weekend availability. I have two cats that I love and care for with all my heart. While I make coffee, I obey their need for a morning treat and roll up the window blinds so they can watch the birds as the sun rises. Our morning routine. I go to work, come home, and give them all of my attention. I care for my clients’ pets in their preferred way, with whatever is relayed to me. Then I always add a little extra love and care. I make sure to know any allergies, places or animals to avoid on walks, and preferred discipline strategies. When I am house-sitting, I follow the instructions handed to me while being sure to make it seem as though I was never there upon my departure. Clean, cozy, and better than when you left it.

About: 👋Hi everybody! My name is Madison and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I am a current Masters student at EVMS studying surgical assisting. I am unable to work full time due to the rigor of the program so I love watching pets as a part time job. 🏡 I currently live in an apartment in downtown Norfolk with my boyfriend of 8 years, Grant. Grant helps out with potty breaks and walks if I am ever not home. We are both students and have internships so if your pet needs someone with them at all times, we unfortunately can only provide this on the weekends. 🐶I have experience with senior & adult dogs, cats, administering medications & puppies! I also volunteer at the Norfolk Animal Care Center in my free time to help out the shelter animals and be involved in my local community. We have no pets in our apartment currently. 🐱If chosen to care for your pets I will treat them with the love and respect that I would give my own pet. About: I am a devoted pet parent and caretaker. I have had many childhood pets including the care of family/family friends animals. I have 8 years of experienced pet care. My responsibilities include; administering medication (not including injections or rectal administration), providing fresh food/water, and maintaining a safe exciting environment! My life is mostly revolved around my cats, dog and hamster! I currently am a part time student unemployed. My schedule is very flexible, so I have much free time to care and keep company for your critters! I always ensure certain items stay stationary especially when they are fragile or toxic to my own and clients pets! Dogs/cats are quite curious so I’ve developed an extra set of eyes for their tomfoolery. Most importantly to gain the trust and comfort of your pets I typically greet them while sitting on the floor, so they aren’t intimidated and can sniff away!

About: I’ve had animals all of my life, and I currently have a dog and a cat now. Also, I’ve taken care of dogs/cats since I was old enough to do so! Whether it was as a job or for a friend, I bathed, fed, and cared for them like they were my own! I currently only work a couple hours a day so I am usually available after 10 A.M. Other than those few hours, I am home every day! I live right in front of a big park as well as an actual dog park so your dog will have plenty of space to play! I myself have a dog and a cat who are very playful and get along with anyone and everyone. My dog would love to keep your dog company, as he thinks that play time is anytime! I can also crate your dog if needed!

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. My first actual pet I got to call my own was a cockapoo puppy named Duke, he was my first lap dog too. However, don’t let my baby fool you I have also had hounds that screamed and ran across the yard and the house. I am experienced with cats and dogs with special needs to. My grandmothers and friends animals all have had dietary or medical needs that I never mind having to help take care of. My passion is loving animals and making sure they live a happy life. Trust that your fur baby will be in safe and caring hands. I am just recently out of the military working as a kitchen supervisor on city cruises. It can get boring and lonely, so I have decided on my free time to give my services to those who might need someone to pop their head in and check on their babies or fully stay if needed. I have an apartment that is in a fenced in area in Portsmouth Va. I’m open to any sized dog and will take them out as much as they would need. I live near a park and that’s where I would walk your special. If you have a loving feline you can trust I will not book them with any canines for their mental health and safety unless you have two pets out more that have lived together I will not take in more than one animal at a time.

About: I walk dogs for my local animal shelters frequently and i have raised and trained all of my dogs (i had 4) form when they where puppies so adults. I am a college student in my senior year, so my schedule is fairly flexible. However, my best availability is on the weekends and fridays. I have so much respect and love for animals, and I understand that they are family and someone’s babies. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and do whatever they need to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I’ve never really known life without pets. Dogs and cats have been part of my household since I was a toddler. I've cared for a pretty wide range of personalities, breeds, ages, and energy levels.. I’ve also provided occasional pet sitting for friends and family, including walks, feeding routines, and basic grooming, and overnight care. I have two dogs of my own -Summer, an 11 year old terrier mix and Dottie, an 8 year old Rottweiler - both adopted from rescue organizations. About: I’ve got years of experience caring for dogs and cats. My favorite thing to do is take dogs (especially my own) out for adventures by taking advantage of this beautiful state we get to call home. I love to give dogs the best time when they’re with me whether that’s going out or staying in and their safety and comfortability is my top priority. I work part time on Thursday and Friday nights until the end of December. I have a very open schedule until the end of April. I do have a dog and two cats, so it would be best to board at the owners home vs my own, but I am ok with either. I am avid about getting quality outdoor time that goes beyond potty breaks.
