About: I have been around dogs since I was about 8 years old and have experience with both small and large breeds. I have owned 4 dogs myself and caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Over the years, I have gained experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines, whether that means lots of playtime and exercise or a calmer, more relaxed environment. I am comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, basic care routines, and giving dogs the attention and patience they deserve while their owners are away. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I will always treat your dogs like my own and provide reliable, loving, and attentive care. I’m currently working a flexible schedule and I am most consistently available in the afternoon and evening times during the weekdays and fully on the weekends to provide extra time for your animals! I have a fully fenced yard and the space/ability to crate as needed. I do currently have 2 friendly cats in home who are used to other cats/dogs. Each member of my household has experience with cats and dogs and would be excited to show yours some love and attention up close or far away! I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and comfort levels whether inside your home or mine.
“Jeanne is great! Always on time and does everything that is asked of her. Would highly recommend. Made a last minute request and she was more than happy to meet me and help out.”

“Abby is incredible! I had to cancel last minute with another sitter due to bad vibes and she responded so quickly and with any/all information I could want or need! This was the first time leaving Riggins alone at home while on a quick vacation and during her check-ins with my cat she sent as many pictures as possible and kept me well informed! It put me at ease. She is just the sweetest! I will be using her services from now on!!”

“Alexis is super, super sweet and did such a good job taking care of our kitty while we were away! She was available for a super last minute booking and really went above and beyond with the time she spent and her ability to deal with the unforeseen challenges with our kitty’s feeder dying while we were away. She did an amazing job and we would absolutely book her again for future travel.”

“Eleanorah was absolutely amazing with ourdog Otto! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about him like he was her own. Otto was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of the entire time. I had total peace of mind knowing he was with her. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“I can't recommend Morgan enough! She took amazing care of my 2 dogs while I was away and followed every instruction perfectly. She made sure they got plenty of attention and even played fetch with my golden during every visit, which she absolutely loved. After it rained and the dogs tracked mud through the house, she even went above and beyond by mopping my floors without being asked. It's clear she truly cares about the pets she watches, and takes pride in doing a good job. I felt completely at ease 200 miles away knowing they were in such great hands, and I'll absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Aimee is a dream pet caregiver! We have had her doing daily drop-ins for a few months now and I know our girl is always in good hands when she visits. Aimee notifies me of anything she thinks may be out of the ordinary for our aging senior dog as well as when she notices she is having really good days and I appreciate that so very much! She is great with communication and quick with responses and changes in schedules. Truly top tier!”

“Chelsea took exceptional care of our cats while we were away. She communicated clearly and sent so many photos for us to see! Our kids missed the cats so much and being able to see them and know they were being loved meant the world to them. Our cats are very shy, but Chelsey was able to befriend them and give them some much needed snuggles. She not only followed the instructions we left, but she also went above and beyond to make sure we came home to a clean and nice smelling house. I will definitely check Chelsey's availability the next time we go away, as well as reccomend this app and Chelsey to anyone who is in need of pet sitting in the area. We are so impressed, thank you!!!!”

“Kess was amazing!! She took wonderful pictures and is very friendly! I am fully confident that she treated my dogs with the utmost care and love. I will be rebooking and would recommend her to anyone!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Portsmouth
This was our first time using Rover and I selected Jordan because I saw how many great reviews she had. When Jordan came over to meet our pitbull named Hazel, Hazel fell instantly in love with Jordan. She couldn’t stop giving her kisses. Jordan kept us informed the entire time with messages and pics of every visit. Our pup even had a few accidents and Jordan cleaned them up and adjusted her schedule a bit to accommodate our pups needs. She also walked her twice a day to help get her energy out. I would recommend Jordan to anyone needing a loving dog sitter for their animal companion!

Grace was great! She was available for a last minute booking for the weekend and was flexible. I requested a meet and greet with my dogs before and she came over on time (at 7:30 in the morning too), super sweet, gave my dog his medicine in the morning and took very good care of Bear and Tucker. We will be booking her again!

Lisa was fantastic! On short notice earlier in the week, she came over within a day to meet the dogs and walk through our routine. When we mentioned the dogs were pushing their way into our daughter’s playroom, she immediately helped barricade it better without being asked twice. She played with the dogs, fed them, and they clearly loved their time with her. Highly recommend — thank you, Lisa!
Jelise has been absolutely amazing with Diesel during a very stressful family emergency for us. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and stayed on his normal routine. I really appreciated the detailed updates, photos, and how attentive she was to his meals, water, potty breaks, and overall behavior. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands while I had to focus on family. You can tell she genuinely cares for the animals she watches. Diesel clearly felt comfortable with her, and that means everything to me. I’m beyond grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and the love she showed my boy. I would absolutely trust her with him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
