About: 👋Hi everybody! My name is Madison and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I am a current Masters student at EVMS studying surgical assisting. I am unable to work full time due to the rigor of the program so I love watching pets as a part time job. 🏡 I currently live in an apartment in downtown Norfolk with my boyfriend of 8 years, Grant. Grant helps out with potty breaks and walks if I am ever not home. We are both students and have internships so if your pet needs someone with them at all times, we unfortunately can only provide this on the weekends. 🐶I have experience with senior & adult dogs, cats, administering medications & puppies! I also volunteer at the Norfolk Animal Care Center in my free time to help out the shelter animals and be involved in my local community. We have no pets in our apartment currently. 🐱If chosen to care for your pets I will treat them with the love and respect that I would give my own pet. I love to send photo updates to the owner so that you can be assured that your pet is in safe hands. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! My class schedule is very flexible so I am able to offer frequent potty breaks and walks as needed! This allows me to follow the routine that your pet is already accustomed to I grew up with dogs in my parents home my whole life. About: I’m a Physician Assistant student at EVMS who grew up with a dog (my best friend) all my life. While I am currently unable to own a dog of my own with the time demands of my program, I would LOVE the opportunity to take care of your special dogs any chance I get! I am a very active person, so I can take your dog on walks/runs and get them plenty of exercise. I am also perfectly happy staying in and relaxing if that is what your dog prefers :) I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and am willing to adapt and learn how I can best take care of your pet, as I understand every dog has his or her own different needs! As a PA student, I typically have class anywhere between 8 am and 3 pm during the week. I am available earlier in the morning or any time after 3 pm to take care of your pets, and am very flexible for time on the weekends! I currently live in a safe, dog-friendly apartment in Ghent with a high-security system and locked-in garage. There are multiple safe neighborhoods around me where I would love to walk your dog as well!

About: I am in the military and am unable to have a pet of my own that lives with me full time, unfortunately. But I would love to be able to care for yours while you are away! I am currently on medical leave from the military (nothing physically prohibiting), so my schedule is almost completely open to accommodate your fur babies. I have had animals my whole life, and have a deep affection for all types. I also volunteer at an animal shelter weekly and love getting to know every animal’s unique personality. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and spending quality time with pets throughout the day. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and make sure they receive the care, attention, and companionship they’re used to. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions closely, while giving them plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I keep a clean, calm environment and am attentive to their behavior and individual needs. I also believe communication is important, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve had animals all of my life, and I currently have a dog and a cat now. Also, I’ve taken care of dogs/cats since I was old enough to do so! Whether it was as a job or for a friend, I bathed, fed, and cared for them like they were my own! I currently only work a couple hours a day so I am usually available after 10 A.M. Other than those few hours, I am home every day! I live right in front of a big park as well as an actual dog park so your dog will have plenty of space to play! I myself have a dog and a cat who are very playful and get along with anyone and everyone. My dog would love to keep your dog company, as he thinks that play time is anytime! I can also crate your dog if needed!

About: Due to frequently moving around for my moms job, I wasn't able to have a pup to myself, however that never stopped my from caring for others. Where ever we called home, I became the go-to pet sitter in my community. In the beginning I advertised myself to my moms coworkers and before I knew it, people already new my name and would refer me to others. I was only allowed to care for these fur babies on school breaks during my primary years and I still do so now when I visit my mom overseas. In the past I have done boarding, drop-ins as well as walks. Walks: I usually walk dogs about 3-4 times a day. At wake up usually around 8am around human lunch time (noon) another about 4 or 5pm and another before bed 10/11. My walks usually span from 15-45 minutes. Lunch walks are on the shorter side as well during peak heat hours. Longer walks are morning and afternoon/night times as I have more time to dedicate and its usually cooler. If your doggie needs more or less walks/time outside I am happy to accommodate. Attention: I am more than happy to accommodate to your pups personality and regular home life. If your doggo loves cuddles and kisses I am free for all the above but if that is not their style let me know and can provide space for alone time (or parallel laying lol). I allow pets on my bed but if this will interfere with their learning and home training, let me know these limitations. Playtime: I usually play with pups when they show signs that they will like to play. Whether they have the zoomies and we round around or if we are playing tug-a-war. If you have a more active dog, I will accommodate with more activities and longer walks. If they enjoy running I can also comply as I am trying to get better at running. If your dog has a preference for dog parks, let me know so I can accommodate as well. Being a college student, I am flexible when it comes to a pups needs. I work a part-time job as well as attend classes but, I live a block away from both so quickly getting home or to my car is not a problem. I am a pretty active person as I like to walk and experience nature to its fullest. I know some nice spots to walk and stretch your doggos legs. I also know how to get comfortable and cuddle :) For this fall semester I have classes during the day and have a part-time job during the evening (3-4h) but I am able to work a proper, caring schedule to care for you babies. Emergencies: PLEASE provide me your dogs medical records as well as your vets number and location. This is for emergencies only and I will contact you first if anything arises.

About: I’ve always lived in a house with at least one dog. I also have experience dog sitting my aunts 3 dogs over the summer. I grew up around a rabbit, a bird, dogs and cats and I loved every part of it! I’m available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00 PM–10:00 PM.
