About: I have many years of experience with animal care and rescue. I’ve worked on a horse ranch rescue, Animal Control Officer, animal rescue, animal shelters and pet sitting. I have a lot of training in veterinary care, animal handling, animal behavior and administration of medication. I have dedicated my life to fostering and adopting hospice pets. I am fortunate to have a full time career that is very flexible with scheduling. I am also off most weekends to leave me free to care for pets! About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was in 7th grade (now a recent college graduate!!) and am looking to start searching for clients consistently again. I’ve watched over cats and dogs and also have experience with with both species that required medication. Growing up with two diabetic cats (and then some) allowed me to learn how to administer insulin by myself and how to administer pills. Being able to trust someone with your pet is hard and knowing they’re in good hands is a huge stress reliever. My goal is to not only to watch over and care for your pet(s), but to take the weight off your shoulders when you aren’t able to be home with them. I am currently looking for a full time job and being a pet sitter will allow me to earn a little extra on the side. I do not board pets as I don't have a current permanent residence of my own (living with my partner and their family), but am more than willing to stay overnight in a clients home. I ensure safety by checking in on a clients pet regularly should I not be needed 24/7 and make sure to not only watch, but care for the clients pet. My visits (when sleeping over isn’t required) typically range from 1 hour or a little over to be able to spend quality time with a clients pet(s), especially when the owner is gone for a longer period of time.

I love to walk dogs, jog with them, play with them, I can feed, water, give meds and supplements as needed. A lot of people just can't get away from work mid-day to let dogs out to potty, and I'm happy to be your go-to helper. I have one dog of my own, a senior girl from the shelter. She's been the light of my life for almost 14 years now. I've raised and trained many dogs in my life, from puppyhood to senior years. I'm the lady you'll see walking around the neighborhood with the T-shirt that says "Life is better with a dog!" and thats a firmly held belief. Personally, I'm a military vet, former truck driver, now active retired and care for my home. I know the value of reliability, trustworthiness, a work ethic, detail orientation, and taking care in everything you do. I looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I'm mainly available from 11 am to around 5 pm, 7 days a week. If you have a request outside of those specifications, I'd love to discuss it with you. I work from your home, and will consult with you on leashes, harness, collars, whatever we need to keep your pet safe and happy. I plan the safest possible walking routes.

About: Ever since I could remember, I have had dogs in my home. There wasn't a time in my life where there wasn't a dog in my home. I have had dogs of all different breeds & sizes. They have become such a big part of my life. I have a pitbull and dachshund of my own that I love dearly. I would love to have the opportunity of loving someone else's dogs & caring for them as if they were my own. I raised my dachshund since he was 8 weeks old so I do have the experience with puppies. I have had my pitbull since she was 6 months old and have got to help train her as she is my family dog. Im comfortable around just about any dog that I have interacted with. It almost feels like second nature to care for a dog. I would love to be able to help anyone with their pet needs if they would let me! I'm currently working as a nanny 4 days a week until 1:30pm most days. I go back to school in the fall but don't have a set schedule just yet. I am flexible with my schedule and have a lot of free time after I get off. I respect any given information and demands given to me. I always do what I am asked of and respect my clients wishes. I will do anything to keep others animals safe. It is my duty to care for others pets as if they were my own.
