“Angela took excellent care of my cat while I was out of town. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly attentive to my cat’s needs. I really appreciated the updates and peace of mind knowing everything was handled so well while I was away. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and everything in great shape. I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

About: Experienced and passionate animal-care provider. I have experience caring for canines, cats, birds, horses, reptiles, rodents, and additional exotics. Additionally, I have worked in various animal settings such as zoological facilities, animal shelters, veterinary clinics, animal training programs, and pet sitting. I absolutely love working with any animal, especially exotics and strive to provide the best care possible to better promote their well-being. Overall, my experience stands out from others as I have worked in facilities that have taught me how to provide the best care for any companion animal. I am currently working full-time as an Animal Care Technician, so my schedule will reflect based on client needs for their companion animal and my availability. I am passionate about having every pet in a safe, and trusting environment, for which I can provide under my care.

About: With 20+ years of personal experience and 5+ professionally, I'm Pet CPR certified, trained to give shots, and care for all pets - furry, scaled or pocket sized. I work from home full-time, so I have flexibility. I've boarded in-home and am comfortable with your-home overnights. I'm happy for lunch-time dog walks (depending on distance), or travel visits while you're away. I have a hedged in yard, but also have a lead line so they can run free. Lots of love and attention. Ample potty breaks and treats (if allowed). I have a small dog, who loves everyone and a skittish cat that probably won't be seen.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.

Newport News dog parents share their Rover experiences
Simply amazing! We have a Great Dane and he is very timid and we were nervous about that! Everything worked out great! All of our animals bonded quickly and she was wonderful in playing with the dogs, feeding and taking amazing pictures! Highly recommend!! 10/10

Autumn came in clutch for my baby. She got her to warm up to her quickly. She also did her hair for me and made sure she was taken care of while I was gone. The daily pictures and updates kept me going and less stressed while I was away.. I am so grateful for her and I will be booking her again.
