She came over for a home visit before and asked a lot of great questions and interacted well with my pets. I would not hesitate to rebook or recommend her :)”

About: Hi there, I’m MJ! I am actively working towards my CCPDT certification in dog training, and I’ve got experience handling and training border collies as bird dogs. I’ve got lots of experience taking care of my neighbors’ dogs from age 10 into adulthood, and I’ve had a vested interest in canine behavior and care since I was a kid. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as puppies, and feel equipped to care for dogs of all personalities! I treat all animals as my own and seek to truly bond with your dog so they receive the best care and the most love possible. I work full-time overnight only four days a week, so I’ve got lots of time to spend time with your pet! I truly love spending time with animals and use this as an escape from life’s stresses. Because of my pursuit of CCPDT certification, dogs are quickly becoming a full-time hobby for me! I have my own cat, and grew up with three dogs that we nurtured into a healthy old age. I’m an active person and enjoy exercising/walking/biking as part of my daily routine, so I’m always happy to include a furry companion in need of some exercise! As you can see from my pictures, when I say I’m a fan of all animals I do really mean ALL animals! I work as an emergency dispatcher, so I feel equipped to handle any sort of stressful situation that may possibly arise while your pet is in my care.
About: Hi there! I’m a stay-at-home mom located in the Hilton area of Newport News. I’m active, reliable, and available from early mornings until late afternoon. I’ve cared for everything from a home full of 7 cats and 4 labradoodles (yes, all at once!) to countless pets belonging to friends, family, and friends of friends. I have a 5 year old son with special needs who absolutely adores pets so if you’re looking for boarding, please make sure your furry friend is child-friendly. During the day however, he’s in school and I will be able to cover those who may not be small child friendly. I don’t mind hopping in the car to take your pup to the park or on a trail if they need more than just a quick lap around the block. I’m a big morning person who thrives on routine but, full disclosure, I avoid rush hour or late-night driving since my son is with me after 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in, or a place to stay while you’re away, I am here to help. Just drop me and line❤️ I’m available Mon-Fri from 5am-5pm for walks, parks, even just a home visit and car ride if your pet just needs some human 1:1 during work hours. “Jordan is absolutely terrific. She came out early to meet the dogs and they absolutely loved her from the first minute. She kept me updated actually recommended to coming a third time because they were having a little bit of an issue and sent me some of the greatest pictures I've ever had of them. It actually made me jealous cuz I think they liked her better than me sometimes. She's definitely my go-to person and I will use her whenever I have enough opportunity or need.”

About: Growing up with border collies, I’ve always been an active dog person. As an adult, I’ve owned an Aussie and a golden, so fetch and long walks are my speciality. Weekend and holidays work best for me. I work full time away from home during the week. I prefer to board dogs over the weekend or holiday to give your dog my fullest attention.
