With vet tech experience, I have a trained eye for catching and often solving problems. As a horticulturist, I can even care for your plant collection. I simply adore most living things!

Dea was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Orrin! She gave him so much love, attention, and playtime, and I could tell he was very well cared for while I was away. She also went above and beyond by helping water my plants and bringing in our packages, which was such a thoughtful extra touch. Dea was an excellent communicator throughout—reliable, responsive, and reassuring. I truly appreciated the updates and the care she put into both Orrin and my home. Schedule
Being semi-retired and self-employed gives me freedom to create my own schedule. I'm able to fit most timeframes except prior to 9 am as I have my own menagerie to care for first thing!

Safety, trust & environment
Having had VIP clients in DC for so long, safety and security are ingrained in me. It's critical for your animals, your home, and my own well-being. I follow your instructions or my own protocols as needed, since every pet and home is unique. In my own home, your pet would have their own separate room/space and/or be closely monitored when in the rest of the house. If I accept a mini dog for boarding, they will be on a leash at all times when outside for potty breaks or a walk.

A typical day
I tailor activities to each animal. I'll find out what their favorite things are and maybe even discover new ones. I'm good at gleaning information from critters!
