“We love Barbara! She’s so good with our cats and she sent us the most adorable holiday photos of them. She is kind, reliable, trustworthy and provides thorough updates.”

“Audry is a cat whisperer. She convince my shy girl to be her buddy, and she convinced my cat who hides at the sight of new people, to let her pet him. She sent great pics and detailed reports on my fur baby antics. I will definitely request her again.”

“Milena was absolutely amazing! She was great at communicating and being patient with my babies! I have one dog that can be difficult at times so she updated me when things were rocky and didn't give up on him. I'll definitely be re-booking with her!”

About: Hi! I am an animal connoisseur with years of hands on experience. I grew up surrounded by many animals (hedgehogs, goats, pigs, snakes, cats, dogs, rabbits… you name it!) I’ve fostered for years, and volunteered at the Isle of Wight County Animal Shelter. I have pet sat for neighbors as well. I can bottle-feed, and administer oral and topical medications. Seniors or young animals alike are welcome ☺️ I’d love to care for your baby! I’m a teacher who works full-time. Because of that, I’m available on weekdays after 4pm, and available all day on the weekends. Starting June 6th (summer vacay, yay!) I will be available everyday! I care for every pet in their home with close attention to their usual routine to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, playtime, litter box or potty needs, and medication if needed. Affection and companionship too, of course!

“Kelly did an excellent job with our 2 dogs. Our girls love to play and Kelly made them so happy by playing fetch with them every visit. One of our dogs is a rescue that was abandoned and she deals with major separation anxiety. Kelly made her feel comfortable from the start! she took to Kelly right away. I look forward to having her take care of our babies in the future!”

“We have used Rachel’s services a few times this year and would gladly do so again. She is thorough, reliable, and extremely sweet! We appreciate you so much Rachel! Thank you!”

“Whitney was great! My older cat is shy but my kitten is a total lovebug, and she seemed to really love Whitney! I got some cute photos, and my girls were well taken care of. Would recommend Whitney to anyone!”

“Jazmin was super awesome, took great care of our Zeus, had great communication, and sent plenty of pictures. We'd highly recommend and work with Jazmin again.”

About: I grew up in a home with two medium-sized dogs, Levi and Lizzy, who are just now starting to enter their senior years! I have taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes in both an overnight and check-in environment. I am comfortable administering medicine orally to animals and have no problem cleaning up accidents. I am currently a student in my last semester of undergrad and will begin school for my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the summer! Mondays are my busiest days with classes, but I am available after 1 pm every day after that! I do not currently have any other job commitments, so I am available on the weekends as well. Though I have experience with overnight visits, I am most comfortable with drop-ins at your home. I can drop in for feedings, bathroom breaks, walks, changing litter boxes, and playtime! I can assure you that I will respect your home and your pets while ensuring that everyone's needs are met.

“One of our cats became ill while we were away and Ali handled the situation to perfection. Got our girl to an emergency vet and even attempted to bring her to her follow up with our regular vet (Goose would not cooperate) the next day. Great reports and pictures our entire trip and she handled a very stressful situatuation like a champ. We are very grateful.”

“Christine was very nice & caring with my boy simba! She updated me regularly & even sent pictures & videos. Simba had a great time in her care & I will definitely be booking again for future trips!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.
Benns Church cat parents share their Rover experiences
A great experience again! If I could give ten stars ….. I would. Audrey is wonderful with my kitties. One of mine went missing the day before the reservation and since Audrey lives near, I asked her to keep an eye out. She went above and beyond, helped by posting on lost pets sites, and she was reaching out to the community to help me find live traps. I found the kitty before I went out of town (thank goodness), but only a true animal lover would dive in and help like that! Thank you for your help, and taking wonderful care of my babies while I am away.

DeHaven and Ashlee are Wonderful!!🤩 This was the first time I have left my kiddos with someone other than family. Naturally, I was a little anxious at the thought of arranging it, but that quickly changed once I met them. They took the time to do a meet and greet, and I was instantly confident in my choice and felt totally at peace. They are great with communicating, wonderful with animals (to include the outdoor feathered ones), went above and beyond and even sent pics to us while we were gone!! I just can’t say enough great things about them and the whole experience!! Will definitely use them again!! Thank you Ashlee!!😊
