About: Hello, I have an adult cat and a 9 month old golden retriever. I have experience in training my golden, who can do basic and more complex commands (some were taught by me and by a trainer). I am okay with caring for young’s pets, and am open to giving medications or other special care that your fur babies may need :) I enjoy walking my dog and also have a cat stroller if any kitties would like some outside time! I am a full time student and barista, so I work morning shifts most days. I am typically available in the afternoons and evenings to drop-ins or walks! I care for any pet as if it is my own! I enjoy walking my dog at parks or in neighborhoods, and would do the same for other pups. I give love and pets to my cat daily, and would of course treat other cats with the same attention!

Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having company, I am happy to provide the care and attention they need while you’re away. I provide care throughout the day and evening and will return the following morning for continued care. If your pet requires a sitter to remain in the home overnight, I may not be the best fit for your needs. My availability is Wednesday evening through Sunday evening each week. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting during that time and will do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine and needs. I don’t currently have a pet in my home, but I have spent my life around dogs and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. About: I absolutely love animals and grew up around them my whole life. Loved every minute of being able to make a difference in my pets lives. We have a puppy. We lost your senior dog this past year (15.5) so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I absolutely love to play and engage with your fur babies including walking them daily. I am home most of the day and if I’m not home my husband is home. Someone is with them pretty much at all times. I currently work part time and home majority of the time. If I am not home my husband or daughter is home. I make sure that there is someone to take care of your pets at all times. I enjoy walking them daily and always make sure they have as much play time as they want. I have a large fenced in yard and majority of the time we keep your pets inside unless we are outside with them. Our house they can roam freely and allow dogs on furniture. They can sleep with us if you allow as well as our dogs sleep at the end of the bed.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m a compassionate and attentive caretaker who truly understands that every dog has its own personality and needs. Whether it’s making sure they’re fed, walked, played with, or just comforted, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I don’t allow any squeak toys in my house in case of choking hazards! And I have crates if you can’t bring your own if your dog is crate trained!

About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. About: I have 13 years of pet care experience from owning 5 dogs. I also taken care of many dogs for friends over the years. I am constantly on the internet looking for different ways to keep dogs healthy and live a long wonderful life. I currently work part-time, which means my schedule is quite flexible. I can easily adjust my work hours to accommodate your fur baby’s needs. I’ll ensure that your furry friend is well-cared for throughout the day, including feeding, walking, playing, cuddling, and making sure they’re happy while you’re away. I will follow the instructions that are given to me very carefully because every dog is different. I do recommend having us meeting before you leave so I can bond with your fur baby with you there so they are comfortable with me. If you have a certain route you like to take your fur baby for walks or if you have a dog park where your dog can play with other dogs (if they are social) let me know! Otherwise I will walk your fur baby for a minimum of one hour and maybe even take them with me for small store runs in the area (with your permission ofc!).

About: I have grown up with pets all my life. From dogs of all ages and breeds, cats young and old, birds and even Guinea pigs. My love for animals show in the way I care for them. I am a homebody and would rather stay at home watching Netflix with your pet and my cat. I work during the week but I am free to board on weekends. I have a fenced backyard and a nice neighborhood for plenty of walks. My cat is dog friendly as long as your dog is cat friendly.

“Tiffany has been a lifesaver and a treasure for our family! We got a new (90lbs now) puppy this summer and she comes and walks him twice a week while we are at work. She plays with him, gives him a long from the freezer, makes sure he has fresh water, and even goes above and beyond to bring in a package if it’s on the porch. Over the holiday we needed someone in the evening while we went to Busch Gardens and she came right over. She is so flexible if we ever need to switch days last minute or want to add a day. About: HI, My name is Aly. I am able to provide a loving and caring environment for all pets. I've grown up with plenty of animals of all types and taking care of animals is something I really enjoy. I have two guinea pigs of my own and as delicate animals they require a lot of intense care, attention, and love which is how I see pets more as kids than animals. In my care they will not only be well taken care of but happy as well. I have no other pets so any pets are welcomed for boarding and sitting. About: My family has had many dogs I have had to take care of. Other family members and friends have relied on me many times to take care of their pets while they were away! I am currently a full time student at ODU completing my pre-reqs for nursing school. Despite my school schedule, I am still available for your pets needs and am able to stay with them as well! Spring semester is over and will not be back in classes until the Fall! I care for the needs of the pet/pets as instructed by the client. I try to make it so it was as if the client was home!

About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

I’m a recently retired teacher of 27 years in the Virginia Beach City Public School System and am now giving up students for fur babies! I have owned pets my entire life and have even recently rehabbed a baby Carolina Chickadee(in the spring). I have experience with giving cats meds(pill shooter). I also watch animal's behavior during visits to ensure they are not acting sick or injured. I also offer safety for your pets by ensuring they are safely locked in the house before I leave.
