About: Hello, I have an adult cat and a 9 month old golden retriever. I have experience in training my golden, who can do basic and more complex commands (some were taught by me and by a trainer). I am okay with caring for young’s pets, and am open to giving medications or other special care that your fur babies may need :) I enjoy walking my dog and also have a cat stroller if any kitties would like some outside time! I am a full time student and barista, so I work morning shifts most days. I am typically available in the afternoons and evenings to drop-ins or walks! I care for any pet as if it is my own! I enjoy walking my dog at parks or in neighborhoods, and would do the same for other pups. I give love and pets to my cat daily, and would of course treat other cats with the same attention!
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and experience I bring to every pet I care for. I have over 12 years of pet-care experience and am a pet parent myself to three Chihuahuas, including a senior dog. Because of this, I understand the extra patience, attention, and care that senior pets can need. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, and I’m happy to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and personality. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet, relaxed environment, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I stay home full-time. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m able to work around each pet’s normal routine, including meals, potty breaks, walks, medications, and plenty of love and cuddles. 🐾❤️ Because I’m home most of the day, your pet can have someone nearby rather than being left alone for long periods. I truly enjoy having animals around and love making them feel comfortable, safe, and at home while their families are away. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and the routine their family has established. In my home, pets are treated like family and receive plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, walks, meals, and lots of love. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m happy to provide walks, feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, cuddles, and basic medication care when needed. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, schedule, and specific needs before their family leaves. My goal is always for your pet to feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️
About: Hey there! I'm a proud military member and animal shelter volunteer with 10+ years of experience caring for pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, and even the little critters! From playful puppies to sweet seniors, I’ve got the skills to handle it all. Need meds given or special diets followed? No problem! I’m all about keeping your pets happy, healthy, and stress-free. Let’s make sure your pets have a tail-wagging good time while you’re away! Pet care is a central part of my daily and weekly routine. Each day, I dedicate specific times for walks, feedings, playtime, and any special needs such as administering medications or training sessions. I schedule my work and personal activities around my pet care responsibilities, ensuring that each pet receives consistent and attentive care. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate various needs, whether it's daily visits, overnight stays, or extended care. This dedication ensures that every pet in my care feels loved, safe, and well-attended to throughout the week. In my home, I create a safe and welcoming environment for pets by providing a designated area with comfortable bedding, toys, and plenty of space to roam. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walking, and playtime, ensuring each pet feels at home. I also have a secure backyard for supervised outdoor activities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual routine. I ensure their environment is clean, provide fresh food and water, and engage in regular play and exercise. I also send daily updates and photos to keep owners informed about their pet’s well-being. My goal is to provide personalized, attentive care that meets each pet’s specific needs, whether at my home or theirs.

I have an open schedule; morning or night and have no problem with being flexible to anytime or day you may need your four legged loved ones! I have free range chickens and turkeys and three lovable fur balls who always have a massive yard to play in and explore. About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

About: I have 13 years of pet care experience from owning 5 dogs. I also taken care of many dogs for friends over the years. I am constantly on the internet looking for different ways to keep dogs healthy and live a long wonderful life. I currently work part-time, which means my schedule is quite flexible. I can easily adjust my work hours to accommodate your fur baby’s needs. I’ll ensure that your furry friend is well-cared for throughout the day, including feeding, walking, playing, cuddling, and making sure they’re happy while you’re away. I will follow the instructions that are given to me very carefully because every dog is different. I do recommend having us meeting before you leave so I can bond with your fur baby with you there so they are comfortable with me. If you have a certain route you like to take your fur baby for walks or if you have a dog park where your dog can play with other dogs (if they are social) let me know! Otherwise I will walk your fur baby for a minimum of one hour and maybe even take them with me for small store runs in the area (with your permission ofc!).
About: Dogs have become a true passion of mine. I provide more than feeding and walks; I focus on understanding each dog’s behavior, body language, and individual needs. I’ve worked extensively with puppies and adolescent dogs, helping build confidence, good manners, and positive social skills through structure, patience, and consistency. I carefully monitor eating habits, energy levels, and overall health while dogs are in my care, and I keep owners updated with photos and detailed communication. Whether your dog loves to play, explore, or simply relax, my goal is to provide a safe, calm environment where they can feel comfortable and secure. My schedule allows me to give dogs plenty of individual attention throughout the day. I plan my routine around exercise, structured play, rest periods, potty breaks, and enrichment rather than leaving dogs unattended for long stretches. I strive to maintain each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Safety is always my highest priority. Every new dog is introduced gradually based on temperament and comfort level. I have experience using crates appropriately for rest, meals, and decompression when needed, and I carefully supervise all interactions between dogs. If your dog prefers quiet one-on-one attention, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. I believe every dog is an individual. I take time to observe behavior, communication, and comfort level so I can provide care that fits each dog’s personality rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

“Where to even begin with Sariah. She has been walking our boys for months now and we would be lost without her. Originally she started off walking our lab and terrier mix and they both absolutely adored her. Then we unexpectedly had to put our terrier down and she missed him just as much as we did. A month later we rescued our yorkie and she didn’t hesitate taking him on. He wasn’t leash trained, was scared and just over all a traumatized dog. She helped him walk on a leash, carried him when he needed to be carried and loved him through. We are devastated at her moving and not being able to care for our boys anymore. We always knew they were in good hands with her. Sariah thank you so much for taking care of our boys as we would and loving them. You will be missed dearly.”

About: Hi! My name is Fallon and I am here to give loving, patient, reliable care to your pets. I have been around animals my whole life. This includes dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I enjoy all of them. I have previously worked as a vet assistant . I am a frequent visitor to the Isle of Wight animal shelter, where i walk the dogs. I have also fostered both cats and dogs and found them their forever homes. I am patient, loving, reliable and have experience handling all types of breeds. Please contact me for your animal needs . Thank you! I’m a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule. I am available mostly in the mornings when my kids are in school and can do some afternoons Safety and trust with dogs come from understanding their behavior and creating a calm, respectful environment. When people interact gently, respect a dog’s space, and pay attention to signs of stress, dogs are more likely to feel secure and respond positively. Consistent routines, supervision—especially around children—and clear boundaries help build trust, reduce fear, and keep both people and dogs safe.
About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. See my reviews / testimonials on the WAG! platform for pets I have provided care for recently. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
