About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) 40 hours WEDNESDAY afternoon thru SATURDAY night. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 7am to 12pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my full time work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs all my life, i have experience administering oral medication, feeding pets on specific schedules, bathing pets, taking large and small dogs on walks, and I have experience finding vets and getting pets there quick in case of emergency! I have a very flexible schedule! The only days I am not free on are mondays and Wednesdays for school. I can help with daily tasks like walking or feeding the animal! I give pets constant attention and care! I've grown up with very clingy puppies, so I'm used to giving animals all my attention! I'm also used to following specific schedules for the animal! (i.e. food, walking, bathroom)

About: My first two pets were 2 doggies at 9 months old. I had them for 17 years until they left for doggy heaven October 2024 and February 2025… I am not ready to fully commit again quite yet so decided babysitting and loving on others’ furbabies will help the healing. Work from home all week. Will be able to take care of them in home and overnight if needed! I will accomodate to all requests and needs. Will appreciate details such as age, allergies, health, likes and dislikes. Will treat your baby/babies like they are my own. Will walk them as I have a dog friendly neighborhood as well as a newly built dog park. The backyard is also fenced.

About: My family has had many dogs I have had to take care of. Other family members and friends have relied on me many times to take care of their pets while they were away! I am currently a full time student at ODU completing my pre-reqs for nursing school. Despite my school schedule, I am still available for your pets needs and am able to stay with them as well! Spring semester is over and will not be back in classes until the Fall! I care for the needs of the pet/pets as instructed by the client. I try to make it so it was as if the client was home!

I’ve been petting sitting for 8 years now and it has been one of the most rewarding and fun jobs I’ve ever had. I treat every pet like my own. Our pets are our family and it can be stressful leaving them with someone else while you’re gone, I want to always make sure to make that as stress free as possible! I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. My older sister is a veterinarian and used to groom dogs and she used to let me help her out and play with the dogs to calm them down. I was also able to walk them when needed as well. As pet sitting is my full time job, I also work part time at the Zoo! However the pets always come first and foremost! I've always loved dogs and cats and I will treat yours as if it was my own. If your pet has any special requirements or needs please let me know in advance. I'm very easy to work with and I will try my hardest to make you and your pet happy. About: My name is Alannah and I am 20 years old. I love animals, I have experience pet sitting, I worked in a kennel and have helped deliver several litters of labs, I have had animals in my household since I was born, and I would love to help you keep your pets happy and cared for whenever you might need the extra help. I am in the military but work a shortened schedule, and I cannot have an animal of my own since I could go on deployments last minute. I love animals, dogs the most, and I would love so much to come take care of any pets and just lend some help. I currently work part time hours so I have plenty of time to care for animals. My average hours are 8-12 am. I have volunteered at some shelters to care for some cats and dogs, and I am actually considering fostering. I just love pets but am not in a stable enough environment to keep one with being in the military and I could have to leave for months on end with no notice. I am very respectful, will follow any and all restrictions / directions, and I have great decision making. I will know what to do to keep your pet safe and happy. Any sort of extra care I have no issue providing I am very attentive and very respectful of not only your wishes but also your space if you invite me to your home.
