As a full‑time Registered Behavior Technician supporting autistic tiny humans throughout the week, my days are structured, purposeful, and deeply rewarding. I’m also a dedicated mommy to an autistic tiny human of my own, which means my home life is just as full of care, patience, and routine. Because of this balance, I’m mostly available on weekends, when I can give my full attention to the pets I care for—offering a calm, reliable, and loving environment without rushing or distractions.

My typical day with a dog is full of energy, joy, and companionship. I like to start the morning with a refreshing walk, giving my dog time to sniff around and explore the world. As the day goes on, I bring in fun games like fetch or tug-of-war to keep them entertained and mentally sharp. When the energy is high, I head out for a run or long walk, enjoying some fresh air. Throughout the day, I make sure to balance activity with calm moments—pausing for affection, gentle check-ins, and quiet companionship. By evening, I wind down with relaxed play or simply sitting together, ending the day with a dog who feels loved, exercised, and completely at home by my side.

I’ve cared for a wide range of pets, including two energetic huskies, two sweet cats, and one lovable pug, and I bring the same patience and attention to every animal I meet. I’m also a proud cat mom to a domestic short hair tabby who I supported through her pregnancy and helped deliver and raise five healthy kittens, giving me hands‑on experience with newborn care, socialization, and creating a safe, calm environment. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, or gentle reassurance, I provide reliable, loving care tailored to their unique personality.

I had a trip with planned right after one of my furbabies was very sick and hospitalized for several days with a bladder stone. Even though he was on the mend, I was nervous about leaving. Nakaya was amazing about checking on him, sending me updates every day and being extra diligent about watching food intake, litter box habits and unusual behavior. She gave me peace of mind that my baby was safe and healthy. When I had another multi-week trip planned, she was my first call! She was attentive, made sure my kitties weren’t too lonely, spent extra snuggle time, managed litter box duties and automatic feeder refills! She even went out of her way to make friends with my skittish kitty who hides from everyone, ensuring she was safe and well while I was away! I wholeheartedly recommend Nakaya to take care of your fur baby!
Nakaya has dog sat my two huskies and two cats on multiple locations. She was very prompt on an all communication, sent me photos throughout my trips with updates and had no difficulties with my two big energetic dogs. She was always reliable and easy to trust. I will definately be using her again!
