“My cat Lydia absolutely loved Jasmine. Lydia would even great her at the door and show her to her toys. Jasmine gives very good updates for her visits. The little details are nice to read. She takes excellent photos for the Rover cards. I saved a few to send to family. Will definitely book again as Lydia approves.”

“Maecen was amazing! She checked in on our kitty, Gus, and made me feel super comfortable while being on our trip. She became his new best friend and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking and I would book her again if I got the chance! Thank you, Maecen :)”

“She’s amazing. Communicates wonderfully and sends lots of pictures and videos during her visits. A very bubbly person and both of our babies love her. She goes above and beyond as well. Cannot go wrong with felicitas. Strongly recommend!!”

About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets, including two energetic huskies, two sweet cats, and one lovable pug, and I bring the same patience and attention to every animal I meet. I’m also a proud cat mom to a domestic short hair tabby who I supported through her pregnancy and helped deliver and raise five healthy kittens, giving me hands‑on experience with newborn care, socialization, and creating a safe, calm environment. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, or gentle reassurance, I provide reliable, loving care tailored to their unique personality. As a full‑time Registered Behavior Technician supporting autistic tiny humans throughout the week, my days are structured, purposeful, and deeply rewarding. I’m also a dedicated mommy to an autistic tiny human of my own, which means my home life is just as full of care, patience, and routine. Because of this balance, I’m mostly available on weekends, when I can give my full attention to the pets I care for—offering a calm, reliable, and loving environment without rushing or distractions. In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, structured space that’s designed with their comfort in mind. I’m currently raising four kittens and their mama tabby, who enjoy a safe playpen and a dedicated cat corner filled with food, toys, cozy bedding, and a kitten‑sized scratching post. This setup keeps everyone enriched, secure, and well‑supervised. Any pet who stays with me becomes part of this gentle routine—getting plenty of attention, playtime, and a peaceful environment where they can relax and feel right at home.

“I cannot say enough about Dawn. She is very kind. I have an active Australian shepherd/ lab mix and needed some help for several days while dealing with family issue out of home. Dawn took to Penny super quick and I loved the visit summary and pics. I am sure Penny misses her already but I will definitely contact her again when needed. 5+ stars!!”

“Stephanie did a fantastic job taking care of my dog Charley during a house drop-in visit. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly took the time to make sure Charley was comfortable and well cared for while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and attention to detail. It gave me peace of mind knowing everything was handled. I would absolutely book with Stephanie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

About: With 20+ years of personal experience and 5+ professionally, I'm Pet CPR certified, trained to give shots, and care for all pets - furry, scaled or pocket sized. I work from home full-time, so I have flexibility. I've boarded in-home and am comfortable with your-home overnights. I'm happy for lunch-time dog walks (depending on distance), or travel visits while you're away. I have a hedged in yard, but also have a lead line so they can run free. Lots of love and attention. Ample potty breaks and treats (if allowed). I have a small dog, who loves everyone and a skittish cat that probably won't be seen.
“Sam took great care of our 2 kitties, one of which is elderly and has some special needs. She provided great updates after visits complete with pictures. We came home to happy boys.”

“Thank you so much. Michelle is a wonderful pet sitter. My husband and I got to even enjoy pics of wild animals visiting our yard that our dog was very alert for.”

“Look... Emily is the kind of service provider that I would hire to be my permanent dog nanny if I were wealthy. I typically don't give as high of praise as I will forever give this lovely person! She made a short notice family emergency a lot less of a problem by being "the cool aunt" for our pups while we handled life stuff. For real, Emily is amazing.”

“Courtney is great! Very kind, compassionate and personable. She was great with our dog who is always skeptical of new people. Super patient. Looking forward to hiring her again soon!”

“Montserrat was absolutely wonderful, she responded right away, made herself available for a meet and greet with our Chico. She communicated Daily sent pictures& videos - which put me at ease since this was our first time leaving him with someone who wasn’t family. Chico seemed so comfortable with her I will definitely book Montserrat again. We came home to a Happy Chico☺️”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.
“Ashley is highly professional, with prompt communication and exceptional expertise. She treated my 11 yearold Yorkie with such love and care, especially when it came to medications and the special needs of a senior dog. Her patience and compassion are truly commendable. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Jordyn was a great sitter for my pup! She was able to change plans and check in on him for an extended amount of time while my flights were delayed and I felt good knowing he was in great hands.”

“Matthew did a superb job and my dog absolutely enjoyed the drop in visits. Matthew consistently communicated with me and provided detailed updates. Will definitely ask him to check on my pup again .”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
