About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.

About: I used to work for farmville Va animal shelter for two years,I worked for a private dog boarding center for a year, and I used to have a small business for a year in Farmville Va for pet sitting. I adore and love animals with all my heart, growing up wasn’t easy but having a friendly face such as a pet made it a lot easier. I rescued my hound, Mrs Eve and she has been the best blessing I could ask for. I found her on the side of the road super sick and could barely walk, so I took her to the shelter and adopted her on Christmas Eve! She is up to date with all of her shots and is in very good health! When I found her they believed she was 6-7 weeks old but she was actually 6 months old but was super sick from parasites eating her from inside-out, now she is four years old and living her best life! When I pet sit, I treat the animals as my own! I enjoy being the only sitter with the animals, as I love their love and affection! I am a full caretaker of my dog as well! I work on the weekends so my week days are usually free! Me and my husband have a routine with our dog so we walk her before heading to work and as soon as we get home we walk her as well. She does have food down throughout the day but usually only eats if we are home from work as she sleeps all day! We play with her and her mountain of toys when we come home from work. We do trails/beach walk with her on days we are not busy or working as she deserves to have adventures as well! She sometimes sees our neighbors Dog outside so we allow them two to play together for a little before returning inside! I only have my hound dog Mrs Eve and she stays indoors as we live in an apartment but me and my husband goes on trails with her,take her outside a lot throughout the day and when we aren’t home we have a Roku camera watching her to make sure she is safe! Our neighbor has our number incase of any danger to the building because we would drop anything for the safety of our child (our dog Eve)!

She updated me on one of my dogs limping as soon as she noticed it and sent a video displaying the problem. The pictures she sent were also very cute and funny. My babies adored her. About: I used to have another rover account and dog watching was my full time job for about 3 years. I quit for a little bit but now I am a stay at home mom and have a 4 1/2 year old golden who loves everyone and just wants some friends to play with. I am a stay at home mom and have a dog of my own so adding a few more never hurts. My golden daisy is my child she is so spoiled and if you trust me with your dog they will be too. She is full of energy and loves all dogs and people haha. She does not know what stranger danger is. I have a huge fenced in back yard. I am also able to split up my house to have dogs in separate areas when they need a break from each other. This will be my full time job aside from being a mom so I am always home.

About: I’m reopening my schedule after some time off! I started pet sitting by caring for my family’s dog and discovered how rewarding it is to provide reliable, loving care. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I treat every pet as if they were. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. About: Skills include: medication application, IV fluids, walking, playing, vet appointments, pregnancy assistance in birth, feeding, cleaning, bathing and most importantly cuddles! (Cuddles with consent of course) I have a remote job that doesn’t take up a lot of time so I am usually available and I have a love and passion for caring for animals and pets! I love animals and I had a cat named Precious for 18 years. I got a job at a vet hospital not only because I loved pets but because it was best for Precious. I was able to give her the best quality of life through my job and she sadly passed away in 2025. She was my special girl and I am ready to start caring for animals again. They matter a lot to me and I can’t bring myself to get another cat so I figured all the love and care I have in my heart, I should use it for good and help others in taking care of their precious babies. I’ve learned a lot while working at a vet hospital as well.

About: I have been a farm technician for around 2 years but have worked as a vet hand and in pet boarding. Ive had many cats and dogs throughout my life, so I know that there not just pets. There family. I'm a early bird so your pet will get lots of walks and play in the moring. My work scedual only interups my afternoons so your pet will have my full attention all moring and night. I'll not only make sure your pet is taken care of but your home as well. Your cat/dogs messes are apart of the job, so you won't have to worry about coming home to spills or axadents

About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

About: I've taken care of pets from dogs to lizards since I was 12, and have been doing drop-ins and house-sitting for family, friends, and my community for as long as I've been able to drive. I'm able to give meds for older dogs with more needs, and have trained my own dogs well in obedience training, so I have plenty of experience with a firm voice for more unruly dogs that need a little extra attention. I'm good with all animals (even the wild ones), and have experience caring for animals that need to stay separated, and am willing and able to adapt to any family I need. I currently am between jobs, the only duty I have is taking care of my own pets (amd occasionally younger siblings) so I have plenty of time to look after and care for pets I have a gentle hand and a firm voice, and have experience with obedience-training dogs particularly, and have faith in my ability to care for even the more unruly of pets. I am comfortable with crate-training and crate-trained dogs, as well as shutting them in their own room when no one is present in the home. I also have good leash experience, so walks would be easy and comfortable for me.

“Where to even begin with Sariah. She has been walking our boys for months now and we would be lost without her. Originally she started off walking our lab and terrier mix and they both absolutely adored her. Then we unexpectedly had to put our terrier down and she missed him just as much as we did. A month later we rescued our yorkie and she didn’t hesitate taking him on. He wasn’t leash trained, was scared and just over all a traumatized dog. She helped him walk on a leash, carried him when he needed to be carried and loved him through. We are devastated at her moving and not being able to care for our boys anymore.
