“I am having a fantastic experience with Sam! She is incredibly attentive to my dogs’ needs and provides regular updates. My dog is always (a bit too) excited to go on walks with her, and I feel confident with them in her care. Highly recommended!”

“Thank you for taking the time to take him on his walk. He seems to love you a lot. He gets attached very easily to people. I saw the way he ran to the door when you came Tuesday. I will be utilizing your services once winter break is over. Thank you for taking care of him.”

About: i've taken care of dogs since I was 11 and I've had a cat for almost ten years now. I love spending time with all breeds! I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with, take care of, and love on your fur babies. I'll take care of your animals whichever way you see fit. I have a fenced in back yard and will crate them if you see fit.
About: Hi! I'm Emily. I've always been a big animal lover. I grew up with cats but helped take care of neighbor's dogs when I was younger. After my husband and I got married, we adopted our first rescue, Aggie. We adopted our 2nd rescue, Daisy a few years later. I've taken care of several dogs whether it be for family or friends throughout the years. I love the loyalty and joy they bring. I've watched several friends' dogs and regularly dog sat for a German Shepherd while living overseas. I've also had the rewarding experience of having my late dog, Aggie, CGC (canine good citizen) certified to do pet therapy through Therapy Dogs International and the Red Cross. I loved how happy it made people on our visits to hospitals and nursing homes. Dogs bring me so much happiness and joy. :) I'm currently a stay at home mom but work part time at an elementary school. I own one dog, Daisy, whom I walk regularly. I would love to look after other's dogs on a part-time basis! I would ensure your dog(s) are well taken care of by making sure they are fed, exercised, hydrated, entertained, and overall happy. Lots of cuddles and treats too! :)

About: I have always been expected to care of my own pets from a very young age and now mine live with me at college:) I love it so much I even created my own dog poop cleaning up business in sixth grade! Anything I could ever do to help someone with their pet is so rewarding, and I understand needing to travel and see the world or visit family as I have moved around a ton when I was younger. I’m super excited to join the app! Having my animals in college has helped me ensure I build a healthy schedule not only for myself, but also them! The way I love a routine, so do they. I try to get up around the same time each day and feed dinner around the same time also. My dogs don’t eat lunch, but I have cared for animals that have and it’s all about craving that extra important time for them to ensure they feel comfortable, especially with family gone. I love the outdoors and walks during the summer so doing that is the least I could do for my babies. I’m a very flexible and communicative person which hopefully sets up the best care:) I want to be as respectful as possible, and since working at a clients home I would want to make sure I know what works best for your animal. If is a lot of outside time, space, treats, being in the crate while gone or not. anything! I can totally work around that because I want you to have peace of mind for your home and pet:)
About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs my whole life, but I love animals of every kind. As a biology student who can't have any pets of my own at school, I'll treat your pets like my family! I am taking organic chemistry over the summer, so my schedule will be very flexible. I am an early riser, so morning walks are not an issue for me. I am happy to make multiple visits to your pet each day! For dogs, I walk and feed them regularly and make sure they get as much exercise and socialization as they need. For cats, I feed them regularly, clean litter boxes, and give them space unless they want to be my friend. I will not touch any personal belongings unless I have permission to do so, and I will ensure the security of your home by locking doors and keeping all client information confidential. I am very reliable and I will care for your pet like they are my own!
About: My name is Mina. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I’m not currently working, so my full time job would be caring for your pet! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well. live in an apartment with the dog park on my same floor, so lots of running around and play time staying here with me here!
“Bethany was truly a God send when I needed help with daily pup walks for my two large fur babies. I have a mal mix and a GSD and she was always able to work around my crazy on-call work schedule. I don’t have enough good things to say about her! If you want the best care for your pup, you have to call her!”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and would love the opportunity to care for your pets when you can’t be with them. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even raccoons over the years! While I’m new to Rover, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for animals and pet sitting for friends and family. Our home is full of pets we adore, including three dogs—a Siberian Husky, a Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog mix, and a Yorkie—along with several birds of different breeds and a turtle. Because of this, I’m very comfortable caring for animals with different personalities, sizes, and needs. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who may need extra patience and gentle care. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed. When caring for your pets, I treat them just like my own—with lots of love, patience, and attention. ⸻ My Pet Care Philosophy I believe pets are family, and they deserve to feel safe, loved, and comfortable even when their owners are away. My goal is to make your pet’s time with me feel as normal and stress-free as possible by following their usual routines and giving them plenty of attention. Every pet has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one happy—whether that’s playtime, long walks, belly rubs, or just quiet companionship. Communication is very important to me, so while you’re away I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing. I know from personal experience how comforting it is to know your pets are happy and well cared for. Most importantly, I will treat your pets with the same love and care that I give my own pets. ⸻ Experience & Skills I’m comfortable caring for: • Dogs of all sizes and breeds • Cats • Birds and small pets • Puppies and kittens • Senior pets • Multi-pet households I’m also comfortable with: • Administering medications • Following feeding schedules and routines • Walks and exercise • Cleaning litter boxes and cages • Providing lots of affection and attention ⸻ What You Can Expect When your pet is in my care, you can expect: 🐾 Lots of love and attention 🐾 Safe and reliable care 🐾 Updates and photos while you’re away 🐾 Respect for your home and your pet’s routine My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and happy. ⸻ Meet & Greets I’m always happy to schedule a free meet-and-greet so you and your pet can get to know me before booking. This helps make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a great fit. ⸻ ⭐ Warning: Your pet may get spoiled with extra love, attention, and belly rubs! I have a full time job during the week, but I’m available to care for and love on your pets in your absence in the evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends for those weekend getaway trips! When your pet is in my care, you can expect: 🐾 Lots of love and attention 🐾 Safe and reliable care 🐾 Updates and photos while you’re away 🐾 Respect for your home and your pet’s routine My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and happy. ⸻ Meet & Greets I’m always happy to schedule a free meet-and-greet so you and your pet can get to know me before booking. This helps make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a great fit.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.

About: Hello! My name is Jadelynne, but i go by Jade (if it makes it easier)! 1 am 24 years old and I am currently in school at ECPI for my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration. I also work at Langley FCU in Poquoson (some of you may have already met me :)! ) In my spare time, I love to listen to music and read. I have a yorkie he is my pride and joy; His name is Bear (My baby bear) and is a very spry 14 year old boy lol! I cannot wait to meet the additional furry babies that i will encounter! I work part time and also in school in the evening time. One of my classes is online so i can watch your baby while tending to school. Dogs are the equivalent to human children in my mind. They need to be tended to at all times, and nurtured in the same way. They have just as many complex emotions as humans do and my goal is to ensure that all the fur babies are treated as such.
“Joseph has done a great job walking our dogs. He's very good with them, he's on time when schedule to walk them, and he communicates with me about the dogs when needed. Thank You Joseph :)”

“Thank you for making Shadow a happy dog! I would recommend Katherine. She is personable, kind, accommodating and so sweet with my dog. I feel confident leaving my dogs in her care.”

“Being able to book Benjamin has been a huge blessing in my life . After my dog was diagnosed with diabetus I worried how I would make sure she got her medicine on time as a single mom who works long hours . I was nervous about my first booking, but that immediately went out the window once I saw the pictures of their visit . Not only was there a smile on Eris's face, but he got a picture of him giving my younger cat pets. My cat is afraid of everyone and has a tendency to hide . The fact that my cat felt comfortable with him hold a huge weight with me. When I come home that night Eris also seemed extra excited as to say " mom I had a friend come over " . Benjamin is also really great with communication and has been flexible with my last minute scheduling. Thanks Benjamin .”

Heather has been amazing. I have an eight month old GSP/Springer mix who is SUPER high energy but can also be scared of everything. He REALLY likes her and has been like “mom who??” On his way out the door. She’s very patient and experienced and I feel so much better knowing he’s in great hands with her and happy.

We added professional dog walking to Marsh's life and now there's never going back! Samantha is always punctual, spends lots of time with Marsh, and sends lots of pictures to us. When I am away or we have busy work schedules, it is so great to know that Marsh is a happy boy!
