My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to horses and even a squirrel and most everything in between. We even raised a couple on bottles! In the past few years I have taken care of a couple of family pets whenever they are on vacation. My children and I love having furry guests in our home! I have a fenced in back yard to ensure animals have a safe place to play and lay in the sunshine or they can stay inside and relax. I work full time from home so I am always able to be here with your fur baby. I work a computer job full time from home so I am available every day all day. I am able to be here with them at all times I have a fenced in yard that offers outside time, as weather permits, and potty breaks whenever it is needed. We will go for walk around the neighborhood as well. I live in a cul de sac and safe neighborhood.
About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

About: I used to have another rover account and dog watching was my full time job for about 3 years. I quit for a little bit but now I am a stay at home mom and have a 4 1/2 year old golden who loves everyone and just wants some friends to play with. How can I help keep your puppies and kitties safe, well and loved? For stop-ins, I am available mornings 7 days a week. I am available evenings after 8pm or 9pm (Mon-Thurs), and a bit earlier Fri-Sun. I can do midday stop-ins on Mon, Wed and Thurs, and some Fridays. I do work full time during the week and in school part time online, however my schedule is flexible to allow a drop- in potty break midday until the months of June-August, then my schedule changes to a solid 5:45-1:45 with no midday break or I work 10-6 with no midday break. I can still take care of your animals before and after my shift is over and I will give your animal as much love as possible during that time! I’m fine with walking them on a leash if the yard is not fenced in, I can change and clean litter, give vitamins to the animals and will pick up any poop from the animal! After my husband and I got married, we adopted our first rescue, Aggie. We adopted our 2nd rescue, Daisy a few years later. I've watched several friends' dogs and regularly dog sat for a German Shepherd while living overseas. About: I used to work for farmville Va animal shelter for two years,I worked for a private dog boarding center for a year, and I used to have a small business for a year in Farmville Va for pet sitting. I adore and love animals with all my heart, growing up wasn’t easy but having a friendly face such as a pet made it a lot easier. I rescued my hound, Mrs Eve and she has been the best blessing I could ask for. I found her on the side of the road super sick and could barely walk, so I took her to the shelter and adopted her on Christmas Eve! She is up to date with all of her shots and is in very good health! When I found her they believed she was 6-7 weeks old but she was actually 6 months old but was super sick from parasites eating her from inside-out, now she is four years old and living her best life! When I pet sit, I treat the animals as my own! I enjoy being the only sitter with the animals, as I love their love and affection! I am a full caretaker of my dog as well! I work on the weekends so my week days are usually free! Me and my husband have a routine with our dog so we walk her before heading to work and as soon as we get home we walk her as well. She does have food down throughout the day but usually only eats if we are home from work as she sleeps all day! We play with her and her mountain of toys when we come home from work. We do trails/beach walk with her on days we are not busy or working as she deserves to have adventures as well! She sometimes sees our neighbors Dog outside so we allow them two to play together for a little before returning inside! I only have my hound dog Mrs Eve and she stays indoors as we live in an apartment but me and my husband goes on trails with her,take her outside a lot throughout the day and when we aren’t home we have a Roku camera watching her to make sure she is safe! Our neighbor has our number incase of any danger to the building because we would drop anything for the safety of our child (our dog Eve)!

“Highly recommend Kacie to anyone!!! We are semi-new to the area and needed to find someone to watch our 8 year old dog while we were away for a week trip out of the country. Kacie offered up doing a meet and greet which was extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions and made us feel so comfortable. While we were away, she sent daily pictures and updates. We didn’t have to worry at all! Our dog loved his time with Kacie and will definitely be having her watch our sweet pup again.”

She is honestly just the best, I think my dogs are upset they had to come home :)”

“Amy was amazing! We were a little nervous about leaving our dog with someone we didn't know. Amy immediately put us at ease and made us feel like our pup was the most important dog on the planet. She is extremely professional and answered all my texts quickly. She provided photos and updated us with how things were going daily. After meeting her we knew she would care for our dog like she was one of her own. She was extremely flexible at changing the dates of stay when I'd accidentally clicked the wrong days. Even though they were very last minute. Her compassion for animals is truly genuine as evidenced by the model she's set for her children. They, too, took to our dog and treated her like a real princess. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our pupper.”
