About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.

About: i've taken care of dogs since I was 11 and I've had a cat for almost ten years now. I love spending time with all breeds! I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with, take care of, and love on your fur babies. I'll take care of your animals whichever way you see fit. I have a fenced in back yard and will crate them if you see fit.

About: I’ve worked as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant in the past and also have experience petsitting for family and friends. I love animals and have always had a passion for caring for them. I’m currently working full time (9-5) but am available before work, at lunch, and after work for potty breaks/etc. Weekends I am completely available. Whatever routine you have in place for your pet, I can easily follow. I have cared for many pets over the years with no issues.

About: I’ve always loved animals, I have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd and he is my whole world. I will treat your fur baby with the love, care, and attention that I show my own fur baby. When I’m watching your pet, they will be safe, happy, and have the best time! I currently work full time, but I am available late evenings on week days and all day on most weekends. I am always happy to be flexible with my schedule. I live in an apartment so my dog gets plenty of walks, outdoor time, mental, and physical stimulation throughout the day. I provide a calming, safe environment in my home for my pup, and I bring that same calm and caring energy to every animal I meet.

About: I’ve been watching both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors for a few years now, and now that I have more flexibility in my schedule I would love to provide my services to others! I work fully remotely and have a ton of flexibility to take care of your pets! If i’m not on vacation, i’m usually free to help :) I live in an apartment with my two-year-old chihuahua mix, Archie! Plenty of opportunities to run around the fenced dog area or ride over to a trail or park for more activity. If i’m dropping in, i’m happy to do whatever activities your pet loves and keep their routine going!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, from rabbits, birds, reptiles, and Guinea pigs, to large dogs, high energy puppies, and cats of all ages/breeds. Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me to care for their furry, and non furry friends. Please note I only accept same day booking for repeat clients. I do require to meet with the owners and animals at least once before I accept any bookings. Currently I’m working at Kingsmill resorts full time and will need advance notice if any animals need constant care, typically speaking I work 10am to anywhere from 5 to 8pm occasionally sometimes later. My passion for animals began at a young age, inspired in part by countless hours watching Animal Planet, which helped spark my curiosity and deepen my understanding of animal behavior. I take pride in creating a calm, reassuring environment that helps pets feel safe and loved. For me, pet care isn’t just a responsibility. It’s a heartfelt commitment. After all, our pets are family, and I treat them as such. At this moment, I currently have no pets. But I am open and available to assist with others who do. I’m pretty flexible. My classwork is self paced. It’s all about what the client needs. Believe it or not but some animals do have allergies. So there are a lot of does and don’ts. Other than that, I assure any mess is cleaned up, pets are fed properly and on schedule, and bathroom breaks are given. And of course play time and walks if needed.

About: Lifetime dog owner, very active. I love long walks on the beach. And so do my dogs! I currently have a 5 year old Lab/Great Dane mix and 3 year old Aussie mix. We walk and play daily. I am willing to travel for daily walks or overnight stays. All size dogs are welcome. Large dogs are no problem. I’ve got a great arm so I’m the perfect fetch partner. I update my availability weekly. Willing to send updates and pictures as requested! I have a seasonal job so when my calendar is open I’m available throughout the week and weekend. About: I have loved animals all my life, and my experience has ranged from caring for my own pets, to short-term and long-term fostering for friends and military families. I have cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, bunnies, birds and small livestock. I love them and treat them all as though they are my own. I am currently a currently a stay at home mom, and my children are now all school-aged. I care for my animals at home, and I have an open schedule, heart, and home to care for other animals. I have a about 1.3 acres of land with a dedicated (vinyl) fenced in area for dogs so I have plenty of room for outdoor playtime. Indoors, a few of my animals are crated at night based on their individual needs but all walk freely during the day. In your home, I am open to whatever is most comfortable for your pet.

About: I have experience in daycare/boarding settings, i have experience with high drive dogs, I do dog sports with my own personal dog so i am pretty confident in my handling skills. I have done years of research on dog related things some including understanding body language, knowing when a dog is uncomfortable or needs to be removed from a situation, what things are good and what are bad, how to use training tools properly if needed, learning the genetics of dog breeds and just over all temperaments that certain breeds have. I grew up on a farm full of dogs and other animals ive always owned dogs especially bully breeds ive been around dogs will all ages, behaviors and sizes my family and friends all know my love for animals and how good i am with them and how much i care about them even when they arent my own. I currently am unemployed, i am a stay at home dog mom and aside from the occasional grocery store run i am at home with my dogs. I will care for your pet to the best of my ability and under any instructions that may be given to me. I will care for your pet like they are my own and keep them as safe as possible while under my care!
