About: As a passionate animal advocate, I've had the privilege of serving as the Foster Care Coordinator at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society for 1 year, while also volunteering with shelters throughout my adult life. Additionally, I'm a Certified Veterinarian Assistant, and my life's journey has been enriched by sharing it with diverse animals, from beloved domestic pets like dogs and cats, to hospice and senior animals. I'm committed to providing your cherished pets with the same love, care, and compassion that I've devoted to my own. I am thrilled to be available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. If you have a special request for different hours, I invite you to share your needs and I will eagerly discuss and arrange a solution that works for you. I will nurture your fur babies with the same love and devotion I would shower upon my own precious little ones. With my extensive shelter experience, I have been blessed to work with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, temperaments and life stages. I have had the joy of caring for rambunctious puppies and the privilege of providing comfort to senior dogs and cats.

About: i've taken care of dogs since I was 11 and I've had a cat for almost ten years now. I love spending time with all breeds! I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with, take care of, and love on your fur babies. I'll take care of your animals whichever way you see fit. I have a fenced in back yard and will crate them if you see fit.

About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY night thru SUNDAY. morning. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. About: I’ve always loved animals, I have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd and he is my whole world. I will treat your fur baby with the love, care, and attention that I show my own fur baby. When I’m watching your pet, they will be safe, happy, and have the best time! I currently work full time, but I am available late evenings on week days and all day on most weekends. I am always happy to be flexible with my schedule. I live in an apartment so my dog gets plenty of walks, outdoor time, mental, and physical stimulation throughout the day. I provide a calming, safe environment in my home for my pup, and I bring that same calm and caring energy to every animal I meet.

About: I have loved animals all my life, and my experience has ranged from caring for my own pets, to short-term and long-term fostering for friends and military families. I have cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, bunnies, birds and small livestock. I love them and treat them all as though they are my own. I am currently a currently a stay at home mom, and my children are now all school-aged. I care for my animals at home, and I have an open schedule, heart, and home to care for other animals. I have a about 1.3 acres of land with a dedicated (vinyl) fenced in area for dogs so I have plenty of room for outdoor playtime. Indoors, a few of my animals are crated at night based on their individual needs but all walk freely during the day. In your home, I am open to whatever is most comfortable for your pet.

About: I have several years of experience caring for a wide range of animals, from beloved furry companions to fish and even large reptiles. My passion for animals began at a young age, inspired in part by countless hours watching Animal Planet, which helped spark my curiosity and deepen my understanding of animal behavior. Over the years, I’ve developed a natural ability to connect with animals, especially those that may feel anxious or unsure. My classwork is self paced. It’s all about what the client needs. Believe it or not but some animals do have allergies. So there are a lot of does and don’ts. Other than that, I assure any mess is cleaned up, pets are fed properly and on schedule, and bathroom breaks are given. And of course play time and walks if needed.

About: I love taking care of pets with a passion, there has not been a time in my life that I have not had a furry companion by my side! I am here to offer trustworthy, reliable, and affordable care to your pets! Your furbaby will ALWAYS find a trusted friend in me! I care for pets in my clients home and fur-babies as I do my own, if there is a fenced in yard I always double check that gates are locked. I make sure to check their food, water, look around the home to make sure there isn’t anything that needs to be tidied up. I make sure any non-safe objects are out of reach.

About: I’ve had dogs on and off my entire life. For the last 12 years our family has rescued/adopted 13 dogs. We currently have 7 dogs. I have kept family and friends' dogs while they vacation as well as done drop ins at their home for walks, feeding and cuddling. I have also taken care of goats and chickens. I will treat your pets how I would want someone to treat mine. I am comfortable around all size and breeds of dogs and cats as well as goats and chickens. I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule. I am available almost any time, including nights and weekends. Most schedules can be accommodated. I have 5 acres which about 1/2 acre is fenced in with 6-foot fencing. I can snuggle your dog on the couch or crate them if they feel more comfortable like that. I have my own personal dogs but keep them separate from other people's pets. If you leave directions of what your pets routine in your home is like I can provide for them in that manner.

About: Lifetime dog owner, very active. I love long walks on the beach. And so do my dogs! I currently have a 5 year old Lab/Great Dane mix and 3 year old Aussie mix. We walk and play daily. I am willing to travel for daily walks or overnight stays. All size dogs are welcome. Large dogs are no problem. I’ve got a great arm so I’m the perfect fetch partner. I update my availability weekly. Willing to send updates and pictures as requested! I have a seasonal job so when my calendar is open I’m available throughout the week and weekend. Early mornings or late nights don’t bother me! I try to view your pet as my own. I’m more than happy to double check instructions and preferences to make sure your pet is treated well!

About: I have raised and my own boxer/lab since she was 6 weeks. She is now turning 7 and has a sweet kitty brother! I trained her myself and is a very confident, well mannered pup. I grew up with animals, have pet sat for many friends, and understand the individual care and understanding that each pet deserves. I work from home, (Mon - Fri) so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily adapt my schedule to your pets needs and be there when you want. I prioritize safety and trust by following the owner’s instructions, ensuring the pet’s comfort, and maintaining a hazard-free environment. I respect the home, clean up after myself and the pets, and communicate updates promptly so you your pet is happy!
