About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) 40 hours WEDNESDAY afternoon thru SATURDAY night. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 7am to 12pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my full time work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. See my reviews / testimonials on the WAG! platform for pets I have provided care for most recently. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.
About: Lifetime dog owner, very active. I love long walks on the beach. And so do my dogs! I currently have a 5 year old Lab/Great Dane mix and 3 year old Aussie mix. We walk and play daily. I am willing to travel for daily walks or overnight stays. All size dogs are welcome. Large dogs are no problem. I’ve got a great arm so I’m the perfect fetch partner. I update my availability weekly. Willing to send updates and pictures as requested! I have a seasonal job so when my calendar is open I’m available throughout the week and weekend. Early mornings or late nights don’t bother me! I try to view your pet as my own. I’m more than happy to double check instructions and preferences to make sure your pet is treated well!
About: I have had animals in my home ever since I can remember! I am a professional dog groomer of 4 years and am CPR certified. I have worked with many different dog breeds and temperaments, as well as senior dogs, puppies and special needs dogs. At the moment I am usually available during the day for walks and drop ins and I am available in the evening with prior notice. I offer in home pet sitting, walks and drop ins services. A typical day would include filling up water and food bowl, walks up to an hour, and play time of course! I can also provide as many photo or video updates as you would like.

Whether it's a lazy stroll for your pup, ensuring your cat's needs, or tending to your aquatic or reptilian companions, rest assured that they're in loving and capable hands! I’m currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world to take care of your furbabies, I’m just a call away if there is an immediate need! I’m available at just about all times! I care for pets in my clients home and fur-babies as I do my own, if there is a fenced in yard I always double check that gates are locked. I make sure to check their food, water, look around the home to make sure there isn’t anything that needs to be tidied up. I make sure any non-safe objects are out of reach.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years and have plenty of hands-on experience with dogs and cats. I have a dog of my own and also regularly help care for cats, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and routines. I have experience with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, litter box care, and giving pets lots of love and attention. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and always follow any special instructions you provide. As a healthcare professional, I’m also very detail-oriented and take safety and routines seriously. I’ll treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own! Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, and I’m happy to make time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and companionship. My availability varies depending on my work schedule, but I keep my Rover calendar updated so pet parents always know when I’m available. I take your pet’s safety and comfort seriously and will always follow the routine and instructions you provide. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, walks, medications or special care instructions, and keeping pets secure in their environment. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and playtime while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is being well cared for.

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since I was barely tall enough to see over a food bowl, and that lifelong hands-on experience shaped me into someone who naturally understands animal behavior, routines, and training. I’ve personally trained my own dogs and have always been deeply involved in their care, from daily structure to behavior shaping and enrichment. Right now I share my home with a cat who keeps life interesting, and I’m very attentive to creating a happy, stable environment for pets. Animals have always been a constant part of my life, and caring for them feels less like a task and more like second nature. 🐾 My schedule is pretty structured around my work hours: I work 4pm–12am, and outside of that I’m home and available for the rest of the day. I keep my routine simple and steady, and I’m usually around in the mornings and early afternoons before heading into work. I’m not someone who’s constantly on the go or juggling a million commitments—my life is more grounded in work, home, and taking care of my pets. That balance gives me a lot of consistency and time to focus on what matters day to day. I take safety and trust seriously when it comes to animals and their environment. In the past, I’ve crate-trained my dogs and learned how to create calm, structured routines that help them feel secure and well-behaved. I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. I pay close attention to what they can access and how they interact with their surroundings, so safety is always built into the way I live with animals. 🐾

I grew up on a farm full of dogs and other animals ive always owned dogs especially bully breeds ive been around dogs will all ages, behaviors and sizes my family and friends all know my love for animals and how good i am with them and how much i care about them even when they arent my own. Whether your pet is full of energy or just enjoys lounging around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for at all times. Pet care is just a natural part of my day. I’m used to building my routine around feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of love. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Quiet Cove
Holly is wonderful! She is sweet, energetic, and great at communication. You can tell she enjoys what she does! Before the booking she met Mango and me and took the time to understand the little details of her personality. I booked her to take Mango on a walk while I was at work, and she went above and beyond and made sure Mango was fed, hydrated, and thoroughly worn out before going back in her crate. She took plenty of pictures that genuinely showed Mango had a great time! I would recommend Holly to anyone looking for someone dependable and respectful to watch their pets.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
