Thank you thank you!”

“Awesome experience. Kristy and her kids are really friendly and clearly love animals. Drop off and pickup were easy. Communications leading up to and during Sandy's stay were excellent. Kristy sent periodic photos and updates while Sandy was with her family. Sandy even slept with one of her daughters. They truly take your pet in to be one of their own while with them!! Couldn't have been a better experience.”

“Jackie & Kevin took great care of my pup. They provided daily updates which gave me comfort. Rocky felt so comfortable to be his 73 pound lap dog self and they loved that.”

About: Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years, starting when I was 11 years old. My experience started with my aunt’s two Shih Tzus, whom I helped care for from puppyhood until they passed away from old age. Since then, dogs have always been a big part of my life. I currently have three dogs back in my home country and a mini Labradoodle named Ember here in the US. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, including giving oral medications and supporting daily routines. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, brushing, and basic training. I enjoy teaching simple commands because it helps build trust and confidence between dogs and their environment. I treat every dog with patients, care, and respect as part of my own family. I have a flexible daily routine that allows me to be present and attentive to pets throughout the day. I am able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, and supervised playtime based on each dog’s needs. I am generally home for most of the day, and my schedule allows me to check on pets frequently and maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide care in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly apartment designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. I only accept one client or one family at a time to ensure a low-stress environment and close supervision. All pets are introduced slowly and carefully, and interactions with my dog Ember are always supervised. If needed, pets can be separated to ensure they feel comfortable and secure at all times. Because my home has carpeted flooring, I only accept dogs that are reliably house-trained. This helps maintain a clean and comfortable space for all pets in my care. The environment in structured to allow dogs to rest, relax, and adjust comfortably while still having a safe and supervised space throughout their stay.
“Montana (our Golden Doodle) stayed with Shawna for a week starting end of November. This worked so well that we booked her for our month away in January / February timeframe. Shawna kept us up to date with pictures and videos of Montana. We especially enjoyed seeing Montana in the snow getting along with other dogs. Montana is iffy with other dogs, so having her get some more exposure in a controlled environment was a good thing for us. Montana celebrated her 13th birthday while we were away. Shawna got her a cute birthday dog toy that Montana still enjoys playing with. Montana is normally very needy upon our return from long trips, but this time she was just her normal self. This shows that Montana felt at home with Shawna and her family, which makes us very happy. Steve”

“Great place, great family, and our dogs love this place. It’s like doggie summer camp!!! Always gives great daily updates and pictures which reassure us that our pups are enjoying their vacation as we enjoy ours!”

“As always, Amanda and Scott are perfect! They are always so welcoming to our little guy and take such great care of him. They are the only people we turn to when we have a need for a sitter. Thank again!!”

“Sarah was great with my two babies. Her soft and gentle nature Made it easy from me to leave my cat and dog with her. They came back smiling and happy! Definitely will go with her from here on out with babysitting my precious fur babies.”

About: I’ve taken care of 4 dogs over the past couple decades. My current dog, Pumpkin Pie, I spoil and give her lots of attention and walks. She goes with me everywhere- from the park to the grocery store! I’m currently working full time, but I want to switch to a field I know I’ve always loved. I’m accepting weekends for now and hoping to work around my current schedule during the weekdays. When I’m house sitting, I make sure that I have all the information I need about the doggo. I make sure to greet and talk to them throughout my stay and make sure they’re comfortable and well fed.
“Our two kitties seemed very happy and healthy while we were gone! Especially my anxious cat, who is always weary of pet sitters and doesn’t warm up very well! We will definitely be booking again!”

“Alyssa was fantastic! I really appreciate the little blips I got daily and she really took the time to give my cats love each day. Even my very shy older cat started to warm up to her! We came back to a clean house and happy kitties 😸”

“Always friendly and quick to respond to messages, which was great! Nevaeh was super flexible despite my plans changing and the last minute booking. They showered my boy Lu with love and sent me lots of pics, videos, and messages throughout the day which I loved. I will definitely request their assistance the next time I need someone to check in on Lu!”

“Chelsea was great with our special needs kitty, Minnie. She took a real interest in our care instructions and took excellent care of Minnie. We really appreciated the updates and photos. We plan on re-booking her the next time we travel.”

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life! Throughout my summers in high school I volunteered at GMHS as a way to give my time back to the community. I now have a 3 year old Jack Russell/Beagle mix named Nova, and we do everything together. I also have 2 cats Jake & Bailey, and a Leopard Gecko named Leia. I do work full time M-F, however I dedicate my weekends to spending time taking Nova on longer walks and having extended play time, and she loves having guest! I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I usually take Nova out to parks often, and out for play time in our back yard. She is very welcoming to guest and loves having someone to play with. If you are comfortable Nova and I would love to have guest join our walks and play times!

“We had a great experience with Shawna! She took great care of our dog while we visited Busch Gardens for the day. We were provided videos and pics of her short stay, which was great!”

“This family takes great care of our pup. When I pulled into the drive and Rosy recognized where we were, she was super excited! They love her and Rosy loves them right back!”

“Christene's daycare was just what we needed. We had a fantastic meet and greet where our dogs got along great. After daycare, Willow seemed happy and excited. Best part, Willow smelled great at pickup (I can't say the same when she gets home from company daycares).”

“I can't say enough good things about Michelle and her care of my Previous Demi! Demi loved going there! Michelle treated her like one of her own. I often have an unsure schedule and Michelle was so flexible and easy to work with. I wish I could take her with me to New Hampshire. But I will for sure use Rover to find my next sitter. I was extremely pleased with the whole process. Thank you so much!!”

About: Animals have always been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home where there were always dogs and cats around, caring for them wasn’t just a responsibility, it was part of daily life. Over the years, I have personally raised and cared for three dogs of my own, each with different personalities and needs, which taught me patience, structure, and how to connect with animals on an individual level. Most recently, I adopted another dog into the family, adding even more joy and playful to the house. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I have experienced it all training, playtime, feeding routines, crate care, walks, and of course, lots of cuddles. Whether your pet is shy or social, active or relaxed, we understand how to make them feel safe, loved, and at home. I have a partner who has been pet sitting for her friends and co-workers last 4 years. I work at shipyard, but my work is pretty flexible that I can check out our dogs or any other pet frequently to make sure they receive enough attention love and most importantly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment where dogs can relax and be themselves. I have a fully fenced big yard for safe outdoor play, and I supervise all interactions to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to crate preferences and bedtime habits — so they feel right at home. I never use harsh corrections; instead, I rely on positive reinforcement, patience, and gentle guidance. I also keep my home clean, pet-proofed, and free of anything unsafe. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, we make sure they always feel safe, respect. I will keep sending regular updates and pictures or videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was young, there's never been a point in my life where I didn't have dogs in the house. I lost my old lady dog three years ago but since then I’ve been sitting for others to fill the hole in my heart and home. I love older dogs who like to cuddle and hang out all day, but truly I am just a dog person. I’m currently unemployed so I have all day to love on these pups. I like to be active and have access to local trails so we can take walks and enjoy the weather. I don’t like to take risks with dogs, I will not allow a dog I’m caring for to meet other dogs or random people in my care. I have no children and no other pets.

I’m downstairs with my pups all day while working from home. I enjoy taking breaks and playing with them through out the day.
About: Since I was 12, I've been the go-to sitter when family and friends go out of town. I've walked dogs for WAG! since 2018 in the Washington, DC area and friends and friends of friends on Capitol Hill have me stay in their homes and watch their pups several times a year. My siblings say I'm too nice to dogs and let them walk (all over) me, but I like to think they must smell something they need to find. I once carried a dog several blocks because it was 90+ degrees out and he was over it. Sometimes they want to run, sometimes they want to tan- and I'm here for it all. Also, I have a full bed if they need a sleep buddy. PS I have two boys, a 3 YO husky + 1.5 YO ginormous mutt : ) pet care is as much a part of the daily routine as my own care (usually more so lol). making sure dogs are happy, well fed, hydrated, getting out to pee, walk, run, stretch, sniff etc is v important. when i’m in a clients home, i’m respectful of the trust put in me by the human and of the animal’s space. slow, gentle movements, getting down on the dog’s level, lots of scratches and pats etc. and being clean and tidy of course.

“Wonderful with the pups and great with communication. Sent me photos multiple times a day to ensure my doggies were being loved and taken care of. Very friendly and accommodating and so easy to work with. They adjusted their schedule to my changing plans.”

“Our dog had the best time ever with TJ ! He is so active with the dogs and took them on mile runs! And long mile walks and not to mention our dog came back well mannered! The most comfortable we have ever been with a dog sitter ! Our dog usually come homes scratched or beat up but not with Tj ! Very impressed and thankful for the whole family watching gunna !

“We were extremely pleased with Lyra & Scott! They took great care of our dog Bella. She is an older dog and I was hesitant leaving her, but they made Bella feel very comfortable. They sent me photos of Bella and she had a great stay with them. I will definitely use them again when we visit Williamsburg!”

“Katherine did a wonderful job of opening her house to take such fantastic care of our baby girl!! Knowing that Mylee was so well taken care of, enabled us to enjoy our trip! Thank you Katherine for all you did to make Mylee comfortable and happy!”

“Amy was amazing! We were a little nervous about leaving our dog with someone we didn't know. Amy immediately put us at ease and made us feel like our pup was the most important dog on the planet. She is extremely professional and answered all my texts quickly. She provided photos and updated us with how things were going daily. After meeting her we knew she would care for our dog like she was one of her own. She was extremely flexible at changing the dates of stay when I'd accidentally clicked the wrong days. Even though they were very last minute. Her compassion for animals is truly genuine as evidenced by the model she's set for her children. They, too, took to our dog and treated her like a real princess. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our pupper.”

“First rate communication throughout from booking to completion, excellent in-progress updates with pictures, and an obvious genuine love of dogs - I will definitely call upon Elisabeth again to watch over our Yorkie!”
