I am currently a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary hospital and I have a senior dog at home, so I usually take care of animals from sun up to sun down and it is so much fun!

I have a fenced-in yard at home. I have a crate for my dog when we have visitors or foster animals that come through. Since I would be offering to walk dogs I will make sure each dog has their proper equipment (leash and harness/collar/gentle lead) on be for the walk or poddy break. If the client has a fenced-in yard I'll supervise the dog during the poddy break. Also, if the client suggests that the dog or cat should be crated after each visit, I will do so.

I have a lot of experience when working with animals! I can help with training, administering medication, feeding, and bathing! Do not be afraid to ask me to do other tasks pertaining to your pet because most likely I can complete them.
A typical day
I love going out and exploring with your dog! I would most likely go to the park for long walks and playtime. In addition, I can offer car rides and trips to Starbucks for a pupacchino! For my kitten/ indoor-only pet friends, I enjoy playing with them giving lots of treats, and taking LOTS of pictures! :)

I have been working with animals for as long as I can remember. I have worked with all types of animals ranging from horses to ferrets! I am currently employed at a local veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant! I was hoping to spread my love for animals in Hampton VA! I am originally from South Carolina where I went to school for my Biology Bachelor's degree. I moved here in hopes of continuing to learn more about Veterinary medicine!

Mary did an excellent job watching our 17 year old cat. She was very professional and provided good recaps of her visits, giving us a good view into how he was doing while we were away. In addition, she expertly administered the various medicines our pet requires, keeping him happy and healthy. Recommended!
