About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life including walking dogs for neighbors. I love dogs and going on walks myself! Cats are always welcome too! I work full time for the military and won’t be available on certain days or for periods of time which will always be communicated in advance. I live in an apartment with no other animals and plenty of space for your dog to move around and be free! Your pet’s safety always comes first.

About: I recently moved back to the Newport News area and I look forward to meeting new pet parents and your fur babies. I have had dogs and cats throughout my life starting with my dog Peanuts who my parents gave me when I was 5 years old. He was a Fox Terrier. He lived to be only 13 because of a heart defect,, but he was my best buddy for many years. After his passing,, I was given an orange tabby/angora which my mom named Morris. He lived a very long life,(19 years). I went on to own many wonderful dogs and cats over the years. My current pet is a French bulldog named Frankie. She is a bit of a diva but she gets along well with dogs and cats. I'm retired and have plenty of free time to care for your furbabies. I have raised pitbulls and chow chows and personally house-trained many puppies. I have a small backyard that is not fenced but I live in a very walkable neighborhood. We can walk down the street about a half a block and take a stroll along the water. I take Frankie for walks there regularly. She loves it. I always try to make a new pet as comfortable as possible in my home. I want them to feel safe and loved.

“Ashley is great with pets, especially dogs. She knows exactly what to do to make them comfortable with her. She has been walking dogs for people that I know for many years. The dogs seem to be able to relate to her and know that she understands them and cares for them a great deal, even dogs other people don’t understand. She is responsible and trustworthy and conscientious in all ways”
