About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, of all types. My most recent breed was a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees. *He is not with me currently* I’ve had other large breeds, small breeds as well. I have training in ABA, and I know what it’s like to trust a stranger with your family. As an active duty sailor, I am on shore duty and have found myself with more free time than I could’ve ever imagined. Take those weekend trips you’ve been putting off, and know your doggo is in good hands with me Weekends (Friday-Sunday) are likely the best, but with advanced scheduling I can do during the week as well. If local to Virginia Beach or Norfolk, drop ins are not a problem at all. If you want your dog to stay home, house sitting is an option as well I live in a two bedroom apartment that’s pretty spacious and has vinyl flooring. I am only a few hundred feet from a dog park The community is very dog friendly, and your canine family will have no shortage of friends during their visit

I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own, providing them with the utmost love and attention.
About: As a lifelong pet owner and former boarding facility employee, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all personalities. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, and I’ll treat them like part of my own family. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! The only day I cannot do is Tuesday unless it’s between 4pm and 8pm Since I only provide care in my clients’ homes, my goal is to keep pets happy and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow their normal routine, make sure they get plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care, and send regular updates so owners know their pets are doing well.
“Briana was so helpful with our 2 German shepherds while we were out of town. We were first time Rover users so we were nervous but the girls seem to have so much fun with her! We would definitely use Briana again 😊”

“Highly recommend! At the meet and greet she was so easy to talk to and our dog Luna loved her! While we were away I didnt worry if callie and luna were taken care of, she sent pictures of them getting all the love and attention. I think our house was cleaner than when we left too, 10/10 will be using every time we go out of town!”

About: Ever since I was a little girl there have been dogs in the house. When I was a young woman in my 20’s I worked at a wildlife rehab center in the suburbs of Chicago (Willowbrook Wildlife Haven). During my marriage I fostered dogs for 5 years and we also had our own dogs, everything from a Beagle to a Collie to Golden Retrievers. I love bird watching, love Ornithology! My love of animals has apparently rubbed off onto my kids. One daughter has two cats and one dog and my other daughter rescued her dog two years ago. The saying of “Who Rescued Who” is very true since she needed some four legged love during her college life and her dog has truly bonded with her! I am a stay at home mom, soon to be an empty nester. I am wanting to fill my time with some four legged love! I have a very large fenced in yard and a doggy door in the kitchen area. I love that door, my dogs just come and go and it’s great if I’m out and about for a few hours!

About: Hi, I’m Hannah!👋 I’ve grown up caring for dogs and cats of all kinds and have experience with puppies/kittens to seniors. I’m confident caring for pets of all sizes and energy levels. I’ve also recently fostered special needs cats over the last two years at JMU, so I’m happy to help care for a variety of animals. I truly love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! I’m home from college for the summer and want to fill my time with all the sweet pets needing care🥰 If you have questions or want to see if i’m a fit, please reach out! I currently work part-time in the mornings during the summer. This leaves the early afternoon into the evenings to care for your pets. Some days I am available all day! I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, drop-in visits, or staying in your home to keep your pets comfortable and cared for. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends! I am able to provide excellent care for animals as well as tidying up around the home if needed. I will care for them as if they were my own and follow your directions to the letter. I am responsible and trustworthy and can provide references if needed.
“Anastasia is great and accommodating to my cats’ needs! My cats loved her, especially my standoffish one. She put me at ease while I was traveling, knowing that my cats were in very good hands. I totally recommend her for cat sitting!”

About: I live in the Chic’s Beach area in a duplex with my boyfriend. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I focus on giving them patience, attention, and plenty of playtime. I treat every pet like they are my own and always want them to feel comfortable and cared for. I always make sure to keep owners updated with photos and messages. I have been around dogs ever since I was an infant and grew up caring for them so being around animals is very natural to me. I am available for structured walks and exercise, regular feedings, reinforcing basic commands, basic puppy training, oral medication delivery, brushing/basic hygiene and loads of fun! Four years ago I rescued my cat, Sage, from the SPCA which changed my life for the better. She made me realize how much I love caring for and connecting with animals. Because of that, I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I work full-time from home from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I have a 30-minute lunch break and a two 15-minute breaks during the day that I can take at any time, making it easy for me to stop by for visits, feedings, or check-ins if you are within the nearby area. After 3:30 PM, I have plenty of time to dedicate to playing with, caring for, and giving your pets lots of attention. My main priority is keeping your animal safe and comfortable. I live in a very clean smoke-free duplex that has a yard and is in an amazing dog-walking area. I love to go outside so taking them out for walks multiple times a day will never be a problem.
About: My family are animal-lovers and I have always been raised with dogs and cats in our home. As an adult, I couldn’t wait to have a pet of my own! Tucker, the Australian Shepherd you see in many photos was my first ever dog on my own. I got him during my 3rd year in the Army and he kept me company as a single soldier living across the country. We traveled back and forth to Fort Bliss, Texas and experienced so much along the way. Sadly, he developed bone cancer just after turning 4 and passed away. But I learned so much about pet care, through both our loving times and hard times with them. I share the same love and compassion for pets that I know you all have for your animal family (because we know ‘friends’ isn’t a strong enough word to describe them!). I have 1 little loving pup at home so overnights would need to be discussed. I look forward to meeting you, and even more so to meeting your furry friend! I have trained my own little guy to multiple property lines so he is unleashed when on private property. However he is leashed at all times while at my apartment complex. Extra precautions are taken to ensure proper use of the leash prior to using on the dog (i.e., retractable, non-pull, etc.). Proximity control of the dog when near doors as well to ensure they don’t accidentally escape. On walks, ensuring knowledge of your dog and how they respond to people, animals, wildlife, etc. Also ensuring cats are unable to sneak out the door when coming/going (because we know, if they can, they will!)
About: Hi! I’m Morgan — a trusted pet caregiver with 4+ years of experience and a 5-star rating on Wag. I live right off the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, so I’m always active and love long walks, beach air, and giving pups plenty of exercise and attention. I’m originally from California and bring a calm, friendly energy that helps dogs feel safe quickly. I’m experienced with shy, high-energy, and reactive dogs, and I treat every pet like family. I have full availability devoted to pet care! I am currently working fully as a dog walker and pet sitter. I prefer to care for 1+ y/o dogs who can hold it for 4-6 hours 🐶💗. I am available everyday Monday through Sunday, all times open for sitting :) I have a two bedroom apartment with just my friendly 3 year old mini Goldendoodle and I. I keep the visiting fur babies safe by keeping all doors locked, nothing burning on the stove, all inedible-edible things off the floor and from doggos reach, and controlling the environment completely to ensure the fur baby is safe from eating anything unwanted or running out.
“Monique is absolutely phenomenal! We booked her rather 'last minute' and she took the time to get to know our giant, energetic dog; she made us feel comfortable leaving town with him in her care, and she sent continuous updates, photos, videos, which I was extremely thankful for. I love that she is down to earth and not afraid to truly become involved with the dogs in her care. We needed someone who wasn't afraid of Newfie fur all over the place, or the occasional slobbery snuggle, and Monique wasn't phased by this at all. We would recommend her to anyone, anywhere, and will use her services again.”

“Tea was amazing! This was my first time leaving my kitty (for more than half the day). Tea sent me pictures when she checked in and even brushed Sylvie’s long fur which definitely went beyond for me. She’s an excellent cat sitter.”

“Dorothy is VERY happy now that I’m home, she’s been yelling at me any time I’m not holding her. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby! Cordillia is very sweet, and gave a lot of love to Dottie. I’m sure she will give your fur babies just as much love!”

About: Hi, I’m Wendy. I’ve been a lifelong dog owner and dog lover, currently sharing my home with Dennis, a senior Pom Chi rescue with a big personality and a gentle heart. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with very different temperaments — from a spirited Australian Cattle Dog to an independent Shiba Inu — and I’ve learned how to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and pace. I believe in meeting dogs where they are — some need space and quiet, others thrive on play and routine. I’m patient, calm, and intuitive, and I take pride in making dogs feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for. Whether that means slow walks for seniors, time to explore, or simply good company, I make sure every dog feels secure and happy. Our home is a calm, pet-focused environment, and between my husband and me, dogs enjoy consistent companionship and attentive care throughout the day. Friends describe me as reliable, detail-oriented, and steady under pressure — the person they trust when they need someone responsible to look after their pets. If you’re looking for someone experienced, kind, and committed to your dog’s well-being, I’d love to help. Dennis would agree — dogs make life better. I currently have a flexible schedule as does my husband so your pet will have consistent companionship. I take pride in being dependable and responsive, and I love spending my time doing something that brings me joy — caring for dogs. I live at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, with the feeder road just outside my door — a quiet, safe stretch that’s perfect for long, relaxing walks. Dogs in my care enjoy a calm, comfortable home environment, plenty of outdoor time, and lots of attention. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, because I know how much peace of mind it brings to see your dog happy and well cared for

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
