“Abigail did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats. She followed all our directions and adapted to one of our cats not wanting to come out to eat. She spent time getting to know them and played with Lavender, who doesn’t always want to play. I highly recommend her to care for your animals, she will do a great job!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I bring a wealth of experience caring for a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, birds, fish, and reptiles. Growing up in a home filled with pets, I’ve developed a deep understanding and comfort in grooming, walking, feeding, and engaging with your furry companions. Rest assured, I will treat your pets with the same love and attention I give my own! I embrace all breeds and types of animals without discrimination, and I'm committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment for your fur babies. My sister will also lend a helping, if needed, giving your pets the extra attention and care they deserve. I can’t wait to make your pets' time with us a joyful experience! I’m currently a full time student and mother. I am very flexible with my schedule with the exception of the hours 8-9a and 330-415p for school pickup. In my home or my client’s home, I prioritize a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet's individual needs. Most importantly, I provide an abundance of love and attention, keeping pet owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel connected while their furry companions are in my care.

About: Animals have always been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home where there were always dogs and cats around, caring for them wasn’t just a responsibility, it was part of daily life. Over the years, I have personally raised and cared for three dogs of my own, each with different personalities and needs, which taught me patience, structure, and how to connect with animals on an individual level. Most recently, I adopted another dog into the family, adding even more joy and playful to the house. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I have experienced it all training, playtime, feeding routines, crate care, walks, and of course, lots of cuddles. Whether your pet is shy or social, active or relaxed, we understand how to make them feel safe, loved, and at home. I have a partner who has been pet sitting for her friends and co-workers last 4 years. I work at shipyard, but my work is pretty flexible that I can check out our dogs or any other pet frequently to make sure they receive enough attention love and most importantly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment where dogs can relax and be themselves. I have a fully fenced big yard for safe outdoor play, and I supervise all interactions to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to crate preferences and bedtime habits — so they feel right at home. I never use harsh corrections; instead, I rely on positive reinforcement, patience, and gentle guidance. I also keep my home clean, pet-proofed, and free of anything unsafe. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, we make sure they always feel safe, respect. I will keep sending regular updates and pictures or videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
