“I can’t say enough great things about our dog sitter! She did an amazing job taking care of our dog, Diezel, while we were away. She kept us updated throughout the trip with photos and messages, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that Diezel was happy, well cared for, and having a great time. We came home to a relaxed and content pup, you can tell he got lots of love and attention. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”
“Cristen and her whole family were absolutely amazing with my Norman!! Sent updates regularly and treated him as their own. I couldn’t be more appreciative of them!!”

“Brandy was fantastic! We left our large 3 year old dog for a week and a half to go on our honeymoon. We were nervous because it’s our first time away from him - especially since he came from a shelter. Brandy truely loves dogs & she made us feel super comfortable. She provided updates & pics/videos daily which not only made us smile but put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation. Rome loves her and her family - we will definitely rebook next time we go out of town!”

“Hillary did an exceptional job with our three dogs! She kept us informed through frequent updates and photos of our furry companions playing with her children. The dogs always seemed delighted and cherished, receiving all the attention they deserved. It was a delightful feeling to know that our dogs were having a wonderful time while we were away. Upon our return, they appeared relaxed and rejuvenated, ready to greet us with enthusiasm.”

“I can tell my dogs love staying at Omaira & Isaac's because when I dropped them off this time, they went strait to playing! I travel a lot and usually when I drop them off at the boarder's or sitter's they get upset because they know I'm leaving, but not this time! It warmed my heart to see that my dogs enjoy themselves when I'm gone; it really decreases the dog-mommy guilt!”

“We had a wonderful experience with our pet sitter! Our dogs came back smelling amazing — it's clear they were well cared for and given plenty of attention. We'll definitely be booking again!”

“Lora was amazing! I knew our pup was in great hands. She was very professional and always kept us updated. She sent many pictures of our puppy and it looked like our dog was having a blast! Would highly recommend Lora and would book her again 🤗”

“Love Love Love her!!! She is super sweet. Kodi loves her house and her dog. We have used her twice and is now our primary go to. We will definitely be using her more this summer. Hopefully she is always available when we need her! ❤️🥰”
“I’m so glad I found Shanae, I was at ease while I was away. I loved the pics and videos she sent daily. I felt like my Frankie preferred being in a home environment where he can get 1:1 attention versus a boarding facility with dozens of other dogs.”

“Elisabeth was a great sitter for our pup, Mylo! She sent us updates with pictures every day. He had such a great time with Elisabeth's own pup and her children. He was so well taken care of that he literally did not want to leave....lol! We are so happy that we found Elisabeth and will definitely be using her any time we need a sitter!! Thank you Elisabeth and family for everything!”

“Louis comes home happy after spending time with Julie and Kenneth. They send updates with pics while I am away and are very accommodating. Definitely would book with them again!!”

“Highly recommend Kacie to anyone!!! We are semi-new to the area and needed to find someone to watch our 8 year old dog while we were away for a week trip out of the country. Kacie offered up doing a meet and greet which was extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions and made us feel so comfortable. While we were away, she sent daily pictures and updates. We didn’t have to worry at all! Our dog loved his time with Kacie and will definitely be having her watch our sweet pup again.”

“Constance is a really special person. Great communicator, kind and open. She was open to do a meet and greet before Teddys actual staycation and allowed us to see her home and meet her pets to make sure everyone gets along. Once we dropped Teddy off she sent pictures every day! Communicated very clearly and kept me informed of Teddys well being. She was accommodating when we had little curve balls thrown at us and we have absolutely no complaints at all. Your fur babies will be in good hands with Constance! We will be booking again for our next vacation.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.
“I felt very comfortable leaving my dog, Ace, with Katherine and her husband. Their space was very clean and well kept, with plenty of space for Ace to relax or play. He warmed up well and seemed pretty comfortable with them. Katherine sent updates and plenty of photos. I would definitely recommend her services and book with her again in the future.”

“Angela is the absolute best. She provided the best care and treated my dog like a king. My high energy dog came back so well behaved and incredibly well groomed, she treated him to spa days, made him amazing homemade health treats, stuck to his routine and provided me so many updates and pictures I was never left questioning his wellbeing. I almost don’t want to leave this review so I don’t have to fight for her care in the future. But she is honestly the best care giver. I don’t want anyone else watching my dog but angela at this point. 100/10. Thank you angela ❤️❤️”

“Alexis was the best! We are transitioning from Boston Massachusetts to Hampton roads, and at the last minute I needed a sitter for 2 of my golden doodle boys, to move my remaining items to VA, and Alexis quickly responded and agree to Take my boyz. She took pictures and messaged me daily about much fun they were having. We definitely will utilize Alexis again! We found a sitter here in Hampton Roads! Yay!!”

“Ashley has quickly become our go-to pet sitter! She is very responsive to messages and great with our pets. We really appreciate the detailed report cards and photos. We can’t recommend her enough!”

“Abigail did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats. She followed all our directions and adapted to one of our cats not wanting to come out to eat. She spent time getting to know them and played with Lavender, who doesn’t always want to play. I highly recommend her to care for your animals, she will do a great job!”

“Paige was so sweet. I trusted her immediately to take care of my cat while I was away for a week and a half. She had great communication and did everything I asked. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs my whole life, but I love animals of every kind. As a biology student who can't have any pets of my own at school, I'll treat your pets like my family! I am taking organic chemistry over the summer, so my schedule will be very flexible. I am an early riser, so morning walks are not an issue for me. I am happy to make multiple visits to your pet each day! For dogs, I walk and feed them regularly and make sure they get as much exercise and socialization as they need. For cats, I feed them regularly, clean litter boxes, and give them space unless they want to be my friend. I will not touch any personal belongings unless I have permission to do so, and I will ensure the security of your home by locking doors and keeping all client information confidential. I am very reliable and I will care for your pet like they are my own!

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I bring a wealth of experience caring for a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, birds, fish, and reptiles. Growing up in a home filled with pets, I’ve developed a deep understanding and comfort in grooming, walking, feeding, and engaging with your furry companions. Rest assured, I will treat your pets with the same love and attention I give my own! I embrace all breeds and types of animals without discrimination, and I'm committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment for your fur babies. As a mother of two energetic boys, your pets will receive an abundance of love and companionship while they're in my care. My sister will also lend a helping, if needed, giving your pets the extra attention and care they deserve. I can’t wait to make your pets' time with us a joyful experience! I’m currently a full time student and mother. I am very flexible with my schedule with the exception of the hours 8-9a and 330-415p for school pickup. In my home or my client’s home, I prioritize a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet's individual needs. Most importantly, I provide an abundance of love and attention, keeping pet owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel connected while their furry companions are in my care.
“Autumn was amazing. She took care of my two cats with pristine care. I got tons of pictures and videos as advertised from her visits. I've used a couple of rover sitters in the past and none come close to the service I received from Autumn. She even washed the cats food dishes for me. Something I did not expect or ask for. She went above and beyond of what I expected. The best thing was the constant communication. Autumn kept me well informed on a daily basis of her visits. I will always use Autumn and highly recommend you use her for you pet sitting needs.”

“Jenna was great with my puppies and rally relieved a bunch of stress for me by stopping by on a last minute request! She is reliable and respectful. Definitely would reccomend!”

“Christine was very nice & caring with my boy simba! She updated me regularly & even sent pictures & videos. Simba had a great time in her care & I will definitely be booking again for future trips!”

“My dog is super particular and anxious around most, but he was so calm and at ease with Sarah. I am so thankful for her. My dog usually also gets sick when I leave town, but he was doing fantastic and so healthy when I returned. Sarah is so good with dogs, and she was so professional and took this very seriously. I hope to get her help again! She’s the best.”

“Caroline is fantastic and very dependable. She agreed to look after my pet on very short notice and my dog really appreciated her visits based on the photos she sent! We are very happy with Caroline and highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!”

“Elisabeth was awesome! Ivy enjoyed her time spending the day here, and Elisabeth sent lots of updates, to include photos. Would definitely recommend her to care for your pup as well!”

“Ive used Brandys daycare services for Loki 2 days a week for about 5 weeks now. She is very attentive, loves dogs, and caring towards him. He gets so excited to see her and looks so comfortable around her family. She gives physical daily report cards with the potty schedule, behavior, feedings, comments and recommendations. She sends photos throughout the day. Her family enjoys having him around and I love seeing him play with her children. I had a family emergency one weekend and she had no problem keeping him for me until I got back in town. That was super huge because she does have a family, it was last minute, and a big ask. Definitely would recommend her services.”

“Michelle was able to look after Koda at the very last minute. She welcomed him with open arms. She has a huge backyard and Koda came home tired. Already rebooked! Thank you so much!”

“I absolutely love Timerra and will definitely book with her again! My fur baby was happy and comfortable and that made me happy! She has a new client in us!”

“I highly recommend Noelle. Our fur baby Max loves her. We have had no concerns leaving him with her for daycare and for an overnight. Max thinks he is apart of her family 😊”

“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

“Candra did a great job with Rocco! She provided multiple photos and regular communication throughout his stay! I’m so glad she was able to sit for Rocco! Thank you!”

About: I am a huge dog lover, I have trained my own two large dogs through therapy certification classes. I love taking the dogs for walks but can move at their speed too. I am great at giving medication if needed and will love and spoil your dog like it’s my own. I am a sahm so I am home every day except for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. We rarely leave the house on weekends Our dogs have mostly free roam of our house. We have a large side yard and screened in patio for lazy days. The dogs will never be alone.
About: Hi! I've worked with a lot of different sizes and breeds, as well as different temperaments when it comes to dogs and cats. I can also administer medications and take care of exotic fish or other animals if needed. A little bit about me: I am a very calm, patient, and dependable person with 5 lovely dogs between my husband and I( I had 3 and he had 2 when we met!). I’m a former RN currently at home while finishing up my Doctorate. I would love to get back in to walking, drop-in visits, and recently decided to try out out doggy daycare. We have a nice big backyard! I am open to learning and providing your pup with any accommodations that they may need during my visits and/or their stay. I understand how important it is to make sure they feel safe and loved. Feel free to ask any questions. I look forward to working with you! *I do have a toddler at home most days, so it is important that your dog is friendly with children when considering doggy day care. She will not join me for drop on visits or walks! I do my best to provide service at the times requested. I am very dependable, however I may suggest an alternate time if there is a conflict. I will make it work! I am very organized and respectful when making a visit to a pet parents home. I also make sure doors are locked and light are off when I leave.
“Raven was a huge help with my dog when I needed a sitter last minute. She communicated with me well and jept me updated throughout my pups stay. I would highly recommend for booking with her for your pup!”

About: I’ve grown up with many animals in my home. Ranging from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I know what it means to feel at ease knowing your pets are being well taken care of while you’re away. Let me be that person for you. Currently, I am a stay at home mom with one small child. Which makes my availability pretty flexible. I will try my best to work out our schedules so that your pets get all the attention they need. I do not view our pets as just pets. They are an extension of our family. Just as much a family member as any other. They deserve time, respect, and love. Nothing feels more rewarding than earning the love and trust of another animal. I strive to provide the best care for God’s beautiful creatures.
“Xiaolin and Zidong were so sweet to my pup and they were so kind and polite with me as well! They have a beautiful backyard with loads of space and their own pup got along great with mine. Will definitely be using them again soon!! :)”
About: I used to have another rover account and dog watching was my full time job for about 3 years. I quit for a little bit but now I am a stay at home mom and have a 4 1/2 year old golden who loves everyone and just wants some friends to play with. I am a stay at home mom and have a dog of my own so adding a few more never hurts. My golden daisy is my child she is so spoiled and if you trust me with your dog they will be too. She is full of energy and loves all dogs and people haha. She does not know what stranger danger is. I have a huge fenced in back yard. I am also able to split up my house to have dogs in separate areas when they need a break from each other. This will be my full time job aside from being a mom so I am always home.
“Cheyanne kept my Scooby for the holidays and not once ever made me feel like he wasn’t in good hands. She cared for our boy and kept us up to date on everything. So grateful for her services and will definitely rebook in the future!”

We have an invisible fence around our yard and also have a lab/hound mix named Finley who is very friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs. “We are so thankful we found Marisol! She was able to help us immensely with our hound who is high energy and can be a bit of a handful on the leash. She expertly handles him and ensures they have an enjoyable, safe, and energy burning walk! She is kind, communicative, and was able to work with our schedule. Highly recommend! Thank you Marisol!”

“Jenna was great with my dog, Ellie. I’m new to the area and finding reliable care for my dog is very important to me. I’m glad to find Jenna and I look forward to having her walk Ellie on a regular basis.”

“Thank you for taking the time to take him on his walk. He seems to love you a lot. He gets attached very easily to people. I saw the way he ran to the door when you came Tuesday. I will be utilizing your services once winter break is over. Thank you for taking care of him.”

About: I am a vet assistant currently going to school for vet tech. I have puppy/kitten and senior pet knowledge. I love pets of all sizes and have a willingness to work with all temperaments. I’m currently working full time from 8am until 6pm when I can give your fur babies walks and play time! I am usually available between 12pm-1pm to stop by and check in with your pet. I will always give pet parents constant updates along with going over any house rules expected of me. I ensure safety of all pets inside the home.

About: Hi, I'm Kim and I worked as a Vet Assistant through college and then joined the Marine Corps, after spending time raising babies, I returned to work in the vet field, as a Vet Assistant at a local vet hospital. I have since left the vet field, but do work from home full time. We have been a foster home for a local Giant Breed Rescue, we are comfortable with all sizes and ages of dogs. All of our pets are part of our family and they are treated as such. We have a 9 year old Mini Schnauzer, a 8 year old French Mastiff, a 5 year old Great Dane, 2 cats and some backyard chickens. We take lots of potty breaks and play time throughout the day. We are comfortable working with dogs with special needs and have no trouble giving daily medications. I have references available, and would love the opportunity to be your pet's home away from home! I work full time remote, 6-2:30, so we have a pretty set routine. Dogs potty and eat first thing in the morning and again around 5:30-6pm. Potty breaks are roughly 2 hours, or as needed. I have a fenced in back yard, and the dogs are in and out throughout the day (never left alone outdoors). Pets in my home are cared for as a member of the family. We have plenty of space for a crate (if needed/most comfortable there), dogs have a twin mattress on my bedroom floor and sleep in the room with me. We have tons of toys and a dog (baby) pool out back for them.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs indoors and outdoors for my entire childhood. I am a full time public music teacher and part time church music director looking to spend some time with sweet pups! I am open for house sitting, dog drop in visits and walks within 15 miles of Hampton, VA. I have my own dog, Allie, who we feed morning and night. We also walk her daily. Allie loved to get her zoomies out in the backyard. She also gets lots of pets and a peanut butter cone after doing some tricks. June and July, I am open to scheduling during the day (8:00 am-5:00 pm) on weekdays and weekends dependent upon scheduling. Additional hours after 5:00pm available upon request. August-May: I am available for walks from 4:30pm-7:00pm, dependent upon scheduling. Allie goes on regular walks for 30 minutes (longer or shorter). We feed her morning and night and she loves to get out zoomies in our backyard. Allie sits and waits before each feeding and she does shake, lay down and stay before her treat. I am also attaching a written reference below: To fur baby owners: Caroline Miller is one of the best dog/house sitters I’ve ever had. She is very responsible and dependable. Most important though is how she loves on my dogs while I’m away and spends time with them. I also loved the condition of how my house looked when I came home, just as clean as it was when I left! It saddened me when Caroline moved away from home because I haven’t had a dog sitter as good as her in years. She will not disappoint! -Melissa F
“Excellent communication and provided lots of updates on every visit. We recently fostered to adopt our dog and she went above and beyond to ensure to us he was comfortable, happy and taken care of. I am continuing to use Clair for our regular dog walking needs.”

About: When you book with me, your pet gets the best care possible! Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I tailor every experience to meet your pet’s unique needs. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies who need long walks and playtime to senior dogs who just want a gentle stroll and lots of love. My most knowledgeable experience was caring for my senior golden retriever named Doc, who needed medication twice a day and extra patience on his walks. I made sure he got his medicine on time and took slow, comfortable walks at his own pace. For dog walks, I provide engaging walks with plenty of exercise, potty breaks, and personalized attention. I’ve walked everything from high-energy huskies who love to run to shy rescue dogs who need extra reassurance and gentle care. For drop-in visits, I check in on your pet, refresh food and water, provide potty breaks, clean up as needed, and, of course, give plenty of belly rubs and playtime. I once cared for a nervous rescue pup named Baxter, who was slow to trust new people. With patience and treats, he warmed up to me, and by the end of our visits, he was happily greeting me at the door with a wagging tail! For overnight sitting, your pet gets loving care in a stress-free environment. I stick to their routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles. I’ve stayed with multiple pets at a time. Throughout every visit, I send regular updates, photos, and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands. Book with me today for dependable, loving pet care! My only current responsibilities are raising my 4 year old daughter who loves all animals, caring for my 7 year old low-maintenance cat named Sparkle, and keeping up with my online classes for my Medical Coding Certificate. The classes are online and allow me to login on at any point in the day to get work done! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. I do have a 5 year old cat named Sparkle who keeps to herself in a separate room and a 3 year old child who loves animals but is always supervised around them to ensure a positive and respectful interaction. For in-home care, I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free. Whether they need structured playtime, a quiet space to relax, or extra attention, I tailor my care to their needs. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I focus on creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for!

“Lora was amazing! I knew our pup was in great hands. She was very professional and always kept us updated. She sent many pictures of our puppy and it looked like our dog was having a blast! Would highly recommend Lora and would book her again 🤗”

Yay!!”

“Well this was our Kobe first experience with Jackie or anybody since Covid came into our lives. Jackie made the process smooth and informative for us to know how our dog was doing we really appreciate that too so we thank you. She return our to us with good attitude and clean as he came there. So if anybody looking for an outstanding dog sitting Jackie is your best choice. We thank you again and will be using your service in the near future.”

“Crystal was so organized and well prepared leading up to our dog’s stay with her. Once there, she was proactive with communication, sent pictures, and helped us feel at ease knowing our dog was well cared for. I would highly recommend Crystal and am so glad that we booked with her!”

“All I have to say is that I will never take my furbabies to another sitter. Monica is fantastic! They went for walks and played lots! She is VERY understanding of the bullie breed. One of my dogs even had a small blister on his paw. She cleaned it, put on neosporin and wrapped it. I was so happy that she didnt just let it go even though we were picking up in a few short hours.”

“Best Rover experience yet! Janel was so helpful with my last minute request. She sent me great pics and helped Coco meet some new friends. I will definitely be scheduling with her again.”

“David did so great with my Great Pyrenees, Charlie! He was also very patient with me as this was my first time using the app and I accidentally scheduled the wrong day. Upon meeting Charlie was very comfortable with him and he was excited to go hang with David. Thank you SO much for taking care of our huge furry friend. I highly recommend having David watch your dog!”
