I have had 1-2 dogs in my home for the last 20 years, and have spent hundreds of hours at dog parks, with other pet owners, and learning best pet parenting practices. As a teacher of 25 years, I can roll in my patience, reliability, and flexibility from my career as well as my own pet experiences. I am training my teen daughter to assist me, so, together, we can offer THE best care around the clock. Your dog or cat will appreciate how he or she will be carefully handled whether it's for dog walking, pet sitting, or boarding. I look forward to meeting your fur baby!

I spoil dogs, allowing them on couches and in beds; have a large, enclosed porch with lots of doggy lounge areas; live on the Elizabeth River Trail for long dog walks; and am walking distance from a super nice dog park. If sitting them at their home, I am sure to follow all owner instructions and to treat their pets like they were my own to include lots of chats, pets, and snuggles!

Lisa was fantastic! On short notice earlier in the week, she came over within a day to meet the dogs and walk through our routine. When we mentioned the dogs were pushing their way into our daughter’s playroom, she immediately helped barricade it better without being asked twice. She played with the dogs, fed them, and they clearly loved their time with her. Highly recommend — thank you, Lisa!

Lisa was so helpful! I booked last minute, and she was so accommodating. She checked in on my 10 week old puppy twice and had followed instructions based on his immunity. She sent the cutest pictures of Buddy. She is amazing!

Lisa - and her daughter Abbi - are fabulous! They sent adorable photos of our cats and dog. Most of the time, the cats were curled up in their laps sleeping, completely comfortable. They were great about texting me with any questions. I know our dog received all of his medications because he looked and acted so healthy when we got home. In fact, I think he was a little disappointed to us, rather than Lisa and Abbi. Lisa made it easy for me to ask questions and I've already put in a request to ask them to pet sit again. So happy I've found them!
Lisa and her daughter, Abbi took care of Gus, our 13y/o old pup for 2 weeks and we couldn't be happier. They took the time each day to send photos and a quick update on how he was doing. They also house-sat for us so Gus wouldn't feel lonely. Abbi followed the directions/instructions to a "T", and we came home to a very well looked after pup. They were very responsive after making first contact on Rover and showed up on time for each meeting. Very pleased and will use them in the future with no questions.

Schedule
As a teacher who works 50% of the day teaching online from home, I am only gone a maximum of four hours a day on weekdays and I am off on summers, holidays, and weekends. This allows me to spend a good deal of my time doing something I love: taking care of pets. Now, my teen daughter who wants to become a zoologist is also stepping up to help give every furbaby maximum attention!
