I currently am not boarding in my house. When it comes to a clients home, I go by their regular routine. Does the dog crate when left alone? For bed time? Or is it used as a time out spot? If there is medication to be given I ask for explicit instructions as well as tricks or tips if they don’t like taking their medication. When do your animals go outside? What time and how often usually? What signs do they show for being hungry, needing to use the bathroom, when they aren’t happy. In the end I am the outsider coming into THEIR territory so above all else I am respectful of their space (as well as the owners).

I do not have any specific preferences I just ask that I am given as much information as possible to better care and for your animals. I would never want to put an animal in an incident or dangerous situation so the more information the better so everyone has an amazing experience.

I’ve taken care of animals from birth to death. Throughout their lives they are treated as family with utmost respect and care. They don’t have a voice so it is our job as their owners to be their advocate. They only have a short time with us, but we’re their whole universe. It’s only fair we make it the best possible.

Leigh is an incredible caregiver for pets. She was so sweet and very helpful watching over my dog and 2 cats. We used her weekly and at times when we traveled. She’s very reliable, texts you immediately about anything she notices that may seem off with your pet, and sits with your animals to comfort them and make them feel loved. Leigh is so sweet and takes such great care of our animals. She is very patient and is empathetic and loving when my dog is grumpy. She always cheers him up.
